Touching the Blossom’s head at first softly, and just letting her fingers trail below the petals, to the ears, just feeling the short hair, and lightly scratching the head. Trying to get a feel on where it itches the most without harming the berry growing on her head. She has a feeling that even though the Blossom is annoyed with the itchiness of it, she is still protective enough of it to not scratch it open and get rid of the berry. “Does this feel better?” She asks, looking at both her face, and her paws. Trying to watch out for any twitches that might indicate she should scratch somewhere else, or that she is making her uncomfortable. But so far, the Blossom Lotine is just pressing her head a little harder against her hand as she scratches near the itching spots, he tail flicking in a slow pattern that she is starting to interpret as being content.

Looking in the direction of the tub, she sees the Lilly Lotine watching them with slight curiosity, head tilted sideways, while her front paws are on the edge of the tub. Merely gripping it in a comfortable manner for her as she stares at them. She didn’t seem to mind that her companion got more attention then her right now, she looked more content to just watch what is going on. Though when she stares longer at the Lilly Lotine while carefully scratching her companion, she gets the feeling with how intend she is watching them, that should she do anything untoward against the Blossom she’d likely interfere. There is just this look about her that makes her feel like the Lilly Lotine would do that. Though she isn’t certain exactly how she would interfere. Glancing back at the Blossom, she smiles brightly at the sight of her leaning against her hand, and having closed her eyes. Soft sounds, almost too soft to hear come from the Blossom Lotine.

She doesn’t quite know if this might be the sound of a whale, and just dialed down in loudness, or if she might be making a completely different noise compared to it. “It is almost like your purring.” She laughs, and carefully strokes her neck. She didn’t see her front paws twitching to lift up and help with scratching near the lotus for a few minutes now, so she is assuming that most of the itch might finally be gone now. The splashing of water made her look in the direction of the Lilly Lotine, and she sees her slowly getting out of the tub as well. Shaking her head and ears to get rid of the water, and the farther she gets outside of it, the more she does the whole body shaking while coming closer to them. It made her wonder if the Lilly wants to gets petted as well, or if she has somehow piqued this one’s interest in her enough for a closer look.

It didn’t really matter which one it might be to her. It would just mean she might now have a larger chance of bringing both of them to her home willingly. She knows with sentient creatures it can be a midge tricky. Even if you want to provide a good home for them, they are not quite like animals at all. Their thinking progress is just as much like a human or one of the other eight greater races. So treating them like they can’t think for themselves can make them feel insulted, yet, with how different their form is, and with most having a inability to manipulate items.. It makes it hard sometimes not to think of some as animals that are more intelligent than normal. Switching her attention to the Lilly when she comes close enough within touching distance to do so. She drops her hand off Blossom’s head and merely holds it out towards her companion. Wanting to see what she would do.

She grins slightly as the Lilly Lotine sniffs at her fingers, likely smelling her companion’s scent the most under her fingernails from all the gentle scratching she did. “Want to be petted as well?” She questions, still waiting for what the Lilly might do. There is still a chance she would just return to the tub of water again now that she has smelled her scent and taken it in. But all she got for her troubles when asking her, is that the Lilly looks up towards her face, almost looking like she has a thoughtful frown adorning her expression while seemingly thinking about it. ‘Does she know the common language?’ It wouldn’t surprise her too much if she did, not being able to talk the language doesn’t mean one can’t still learn it after all. The Lotine didn’t look like she was completely comprehending her words though, there just wasn’t that certain ‘spark’ she knows most of her Felusine have.

When the Lilly Lotine after a moment merely leans more into her fingers and nudging them, she sighs a bit in disappointment for not seeing that ‘spark’ in her eyes. But she smiles nonetheless at the fact that this Lotine does want to be petted and scratched near her flower just as much as her companion does. Though this one lacks the signs that she has a berry growing within the lotus flower. “So… What do you think? Want to come home with me?” She says softly while scratching gentle at the short fur on her head. There wasn’t one bit of a difference in the fur itself from what she can tell between them. Just a different coat pattern. The soft sound that had stopped coming from Lilly’s companion started up again, shriller this time as she eyes with a slight bit of jealousy first at her, and then her companion with narrowed eyes. Watching what her hand does to the Lilly Lotine.

She didn’t change what she is doing with the Lilly Lotine in her hand motion, and it seems like the Blossom Lotine becomes just the slightest bit indifferent to it after a while, looking away from what her hand is doing, and looking at her face in contemplation. She’s certain the Blossom is still trying to figure out what might be said to her, or perhaps mulling over the notion of finally leaving? She hopes the Blossom is thinking of the latter with it. “What about you sweety? Want to leave this place too?” She says to the Lilly Lotine, pausing her scratching for a moment as she says it. Not wanting her to get too distracted. The both of slowly turn their heads to each other, shifting them slightly side to side, ears twitching together with the noses. She wonders if this is their way of silently communicating with each other. It certainly seems like it is when they continue to do so for a couple of minutes, the Lilly giving a small nod towards the Blossom, and then looks up at her. Giving another nod that is she isn’t mistaken; means she might be agreeing to go? Turning slightly to look at the Blossom, she gets a small sound of what might be satisfaction coming from her. “So your both fine with it?” She checks, just to be certain.

“You’d both want to come?” She repeats, and her lips gradually form a large smile as she sees them nodding slightly again, or in the Blossom’s case, the first time. “Great! I’ll write you both down, and go file them now then.” She says, feeling really happy that they agreed to come with her. She almost wants to second guess herself if they really nodded at her questions when she was looking for a yes or no from them, it could be just her luck that they didn’t understand and thought she wanted to see them perform a trick, but she shoves the thought harshly aside. She’ll just have to hope, and see what their reactions are like when its time for them to go home with her. Standing up slowly after petting them one last time, she backs away. “I’ll see you guys soon, it shouldn’t take too long for you two to go home with me.” It certainly hadn’t taken so long when she adopted here previously, so she didn’t expect that to change either. Taking out of her pocket the paperwork, and a pen, she is quick to scribble down all the details of them, and why she hopes to adopt them. If things go well, they will soon be coming with her to their new home.

Giving a small wave to them as a goodbye, and getting a head tilt from the Blossom at seeing her do it while the Lilly look away from her, staring at something in the cage that is holding her attention more now. She muses on the fact that she still got at least a few other adoption papers left, and while she succeeded in convincing the two Lotine to come with her, there might still be one or two more that she could give a good home too perhaps? It’s worth looking into at least. Walking further away from the likely more popular cages with what they contain of living beings, or in some cases, not so living as she sees a Scuttle picking small crumbs off the floor from its cage and scuttling to a corner to place it there. She moves along to a farther corner, having spotted a large cage whose bars easily reached up till the ceiling to keep the being inside and prevent any escape. Looking inside after a few moments she sees a green Wiurn sleeping on a bedding of straw, looking perfectly healthy. Neither too thin or too thick in build. Still, she already has her hands full with her current group of Wiurn’s and their strange offspring. She’d rather have someone else get the opportunity to give the Wiurn the love they deserve.

Moving to the cages near the Wiurn on its left, she notices that the two cages there are also almost equal in size to the Wiurn, and peering inside it, she can tell why that is. One cage while it has bars outside of it, a layer of glass is behind it, likely to keep the warmth inside while a heating fan is turned on. A Core Lamadidron is sleeping on what I assume is a heating pad, large enough that the adult Core can sprawl on it while sleeping. “I guess, I’ll check on you a bit later.” She murmurs more to the glass containing the Core. Sure, she could see certain parts of the cage could be opened, but it probably would be best to ask Mathew about it first before she tried anything. This is his building after all, and he knows them best. He could probably even tell her some of the Core’s preference in how they’d like to be treated when working with the Lamadidron.

Moving to the next cage she couldn’t help but grin at what she glimpsed at. Laying on their back in the straw, an old Miasma Balgor could be seen staring at the ceiling, bored and perhaps slightly contemplative. “Well hello there.” She speaks through the bars, a bit louder then she did before. Seeing the Balgor’s ear twitch in her direction when hearing the sound of her voice, the Balgor lazily drags his eyes away from the ceiling to stare at her. His expression perfectly conveying a ‘what do you want?’ kind of look to her. “It’s nice to meet you..” A pause as she checks the Balgor’s reaction. “You must be quite bored here, hum?” She couldn’t help but add as she sees they aren’t moving from their spot, just eyeing her lazily up and down. “Would you be interested in playing with me?” And although she knows the Balgor are nowhere near as intelligent as the Lotine are, they still rank pretty high in that department.

Taking off her backpack seems to gather more interest to the Balgor than her words did as she kneels down and unzips one of the compartments, fetching some meat treats and picks one of the different sizes of balls she took along with her, its old and dented by the teeth of animals that already got a chance to play with it. It looks like one of those toys that hardly will be missed, and in this case that is true. “It’s a little old, but should this work or give you something to chew on that isn’t completely food related.” She mutters to the Balgor, smiling when she sees them roll over so they lay more on their belly, pieces of straw sticking out of their fur, looking intently at the meat treats while their nose is twitching. “Oh you definitely want one huh? Well here, take it.” She says as she picks up the bag, opening it quickly to take a couple of treats out of it, and placing it inside the cage. Glad that this one doesn’t have glass behind it. She gathers in the case of the Core it’s also used to indicate where the boundary of it is. As glass isn’t exactly the type of thing most animals notice when trying to go somewhere. She’d seen plenty of birds hit a large window just because it looked like they could get in.

The large Balgor stood up from its laying position, coming close enough with their head that she can see the rather deadly tusks are sharp enough to be used as a weapon while the Balgor is merely picking those treats up by giving a quick lick to the floor to gather them. “Your definitely larger than Solis.” She muses, at least a foot larger. Probably on the larger side of where it could still be considered average for these big beasts. Solis just happens to be a bit more in the below average when it comes to size, just not the outrages type she supposes. Grabbing some more treats from the bag, she is quick to place them near the Balgor and pick up the dented ball. “So, want to play?” Even if they don’t know how to fetch, it would still be more interesting for the Miasma to have something to do, than stare at the ceiling all day.

She sees their ears twitch again as she speaks, but looking in their eyes, she doesn’t see in it that they know what she is getting at. So after the Balgor ate the last few treats she had placed near them she shows the ball, making a show of catching it with her left and right hand a few times, just to see if they are interested. The eyes following the direction of the ball seems to indicate it, trying her luck a little more, she slowly brings it to the cage bars, not quite near the Balgor’s head. Seeing them still look at the ball, she throws it in their room, pulling out her hand from the cage. The Miasma turns their head only long enough to watch where the ball is rolling in its lopsided manner, but doesn’t move an inch towards the ball. Clearly not as interested in it as she had hoped.

“Well, it was worth a shot.” She murmurs, looking at the ball as it hits the Balgor’s bed of straw. Shaking her head, she flashes her teeth to the Balgor in a grin. Picking up some more treats and laying it inside the cage. Catching the Miasma’s interest a whole lot more then the ball ever did as they watch her do it for a moment and then pick up the treats with their tongue and start chewing on them when she retreats her hand outside of the cage. “At least you like these treats I brought along, that already will help a whole lot to liking me more.” She muses, trying her luck by stroking the fur on the Miasma’s head for just a quick moment, a simple up and down motion to feel the shorter fur on the face, and getting a growl mixed purr in return for it as she retreats her hand.
