Another day, another hobby. As if she didn't have enough to wade into already, Nadia had gotten the idea to try fishing - it seemed relatively simple, and was a darn sight less risky than some of the other things she'd gotten up to in the past. At least the river wouldn't morph and change in front of her eyes when she was trying to leave... at least, she hadn't heard of that happening.
Hook, Line, 'n Sinker was foreign to her. Her nervousness was evident when she walked in and slowly made her way to the shopkeeper, twisting her fingers together. Deep breaths. It wasn't like something was going to leap out and swallow her whole.
"Um, hello," She began, bobbing her head in a subtle bow. "My apologies for disturbing you, but I was hoping for your assistance... I would like to purchase a good quality fishing pole, a-and a net, if possible."
Long Handled Fishing Net - 50 Pro Fishing Pole - 75
Ka'shisk stood up from her chair behind the counter with an excited hiss. "Well hey there, friend!" She said loudly, waving Nadia over. "If'n you're wanting the bessst net an' rod..." She said, scratching her chin as she thought, her sakaash accent heavy. "You'll definitely want those- the long handled fishing net an' the pro fishing pole." She said, pointing to the tools that were hung up on the wall of the store. "Bring those ovah here, and I'll check you out. They're 125 credits in total. Not a bad price if you ask me!" She said with a loud laugh. If Nadia was shy, well, Ka'shisk certainly didn't seem to notice.
Nadia wasn't overly familiar with Ssashirk, and did her best not to stare, but she couldn't quell the entirety of her curiosity. The shopkeeper was pretty! It was a different kind of beauty than human, but she appreciated it nonetheless.
"Oh, marvellous! Thank you," She said, and walked over to the wall to retrieve the items. Gosh, they were big. She hadn't realised how sizeable the equipment would prove to be. It wouldn't look too strange to walk around with them, though, so she wouldn't worry about it that much. "Okay... these two..."
She was delicate with them, but made sure she wasn't going to drop them - it would be very embarrassing if she messed up in front of a new acquaintance! Once she made her way back to the counter, she laid them down, and fished into her bag for the credits.
"One hundred and twenty-five... here we go, this should be correct."
Ka'shisk was happy to accept the credits, and didn't even check to make sure they were all there. This seemed like a trustable person after all. "Excellent! Pleassssure doing businesses with you!" She said, slapping Nadia a little bit too hard on the back. "Feel free to give those tools a whirl, and just come on back if you need anything else! I'll be here."
