"I think that's the main reason I haven't called you," Jack told her with a wink, "Plus it's nice to have that loyalty to myself once a breaking happens, right?" Giving a chuckle, she thought about all the Sarane she had to do things with back at the Kennel, and then she groaned. There were so many... What was she going to do about it? She shook her head and then looked down at her Pachee, patting them on their heads as they sniffed at the carriers a little more. They were both pretty curious about what was going on, she couldn't wait to get them all into a room together, it only had to be something they could do, right? Jack found she was staring and shook her head, breaking her concentration for a moment with a laugh, "Have you only been up to training? Anything else lately? Also... I'm looking to breed one of my Houluh for possibly the last time, Luna. I don't suppose you'd have a Patronne you'd be interested in breeding to her? She has her Maestre di Marq and I've bought an Offering to Order from the Contest Hall, and she has a lovely quarter moon on her nose that passes down quite often."

"Well, I'm always happy for the extra work! You're absolutely right though, chances are the only reason I was able to get through Algol's breaking without losing a limb is because he was going easy on me. Makes it harder on most people though, having to wrestle a creature that they raised from a little baby." She paused for a moment, as if remembering something. "Not me though, of course. I do what I have to do, you know?" She said with a chuckle. Meanwhile, Tangerine patted at the front of his carrier some more, enjoying the reactions of the other males as they tried to figure out who he was. These guys were fun! Fiera was taking every opportunity to brag of course. "Oh, yes! I've made a lot of progress with my harachiu lately. They'll be speaking in no time I bet, though I wouldn't expect anything less from my girls. I've been working with some houluh recently as well- once I have them trained up for their debutante shows, I would be happy to do a breeding with Luna!" She said, thinking about the ones she had available. Skyler and Sundown were still quite young, but growing more and more every day.

A chuckle, of course she didn't have an issue. Jack pushed her hair back, scars covered her arms from training and she was in no way ashamed of them, but every now and then she was a little self conscious. Did that mean she was a bad trainer? All of the marks all over her might suggest she was, but she was determined to do things her way, so there was a chance she could do it well. A frown crossed her face, no, she was fine, she just had to keep forging ahead and that was what it was about.
"Great! I'll be happy to show you what she looks like if you'd like?" she said, pulling out a device from her pocket and flipping to a photo of the pup. The Houluh was regal and beautiful, though she was incredibly loyal as well. The best trained Houluh she had, Luna. Jack showed the picture to her friend and then smiled at her Pachee, who were tapping on the container just like the orange male was doing from the inside. Well then, they looked like they wanted to meet each other pretty badly, and that was when the attendant came to them to tell them their room was ready. Jack stood up and motioned down the hallway, "Shall we?"

Fiera couldn't help herself looking at the houluh, swiping the phone from Jack and leafing through the pictures. "Oh yes, she's quite lovely." Fiera mused, even as they were called up. "I'm not sure which mate would be best for her, to tell the truth. I do have quite a few houluh by now, you know. Still, I'll let you have your pick of the litter so to speak, once they're all grown up." She said, passing back the phone with a wink. She was about to get out her own WATT to show Jack endless pictures of her own pets when the attendant came to them. The humanish was about to scold them for interrupting their conversation, but held her tongue when it turned out that they were here to tell them that the room was ready. She huffed slightly as she bent down to grab her carriers. She SUPPOSED she could let it go for that. "We shall!" She replied to Jack, hefting her carriers up under her arms again. Tangerine and Deep were a little disappointed at being taken away- they were just getting started with those guys! They seemed fun! Still, they had the feeling that they weren't done with them yet...

Pocketing the phone again, she followed Fiera and her Pachee, Monarch and Toxie following behind her as well, to the room they had been given for the breeding and then opened the door for the parade who went before her. Chuckling a little, she figured they made an interesting sight, but didn't think this kind of thing was going to happen for awhile after this anyway, so might as well soak it up. Pushing her hair back, she let the door shut behind her and nodded, "Well we certainly have time to make a decision then! I can't wait to see your pups!"
Monarch fluttered his wings and shook his head as Toxie stretched out and started to run around the room. Jack laughed and pulled out the berries from her bag and nodded at Fiera, "I've got the berries whenever we're ready." She couldn't wait to see the kits, and even though they were probably only going to have two of them, she was sure they were going to either look completely amazing or very muddy, and she wondered if she should voice her concerns to the other woman. Whatever happened, she was sure they would turn out well though, they usually did.

Fiera shuffled down the hallway, only slightly encumbered by her carriers. On some level she was jealous of Jack and her free scampering pachee, only having to tie the leashes to her belt loop, allowing her hands to be free. And yet, Fiera knew that the second she took her eyes off of her pachee would be the moment that they decided to cause absolute chaos. She had been yelled at by the breeding center employees enough, thank you very much.
Once they were in the room though (With a bit of huffing and puffing as she squeezed the carriers through the door before she realized it was a better idea to step through sideways instead), Fiera was able to set the carriers down with a sigh of relief. It was a lovely room, filled with naturalistic looking features to help the pachee feel as comfortable as possible with breeding. Jack's free range pachee proposed another problem, however. "Ah yes, the berries." Fiera said, glancing at her. "Do you think we should just... put them in Deep's cage before letting her out? I don't want to risk the males getting to them before she does. We do have a veritable flock of them here." She said, eyeing the males warily.

"Ah, that is true, though the female berry is the only one she really needs to absorb I thought? I usually give the male berry to the male or males, and then they split the baby berry, but whatever you're more comfortable with is something we can do," Jack said with a nod, watching as her two males wandered around the room, sniffing and seeing what they might be able to find. It was difficult breeding with someone who had different ideals when it came to how to treat animals, or at least that's what she was thinking of at the moment. Perhaps they weren't all that different though, she figured with a frown. Jack shrugged a little and handed over the berries to Fiera after the carriers were put down so the other woman could decide on what to do with them. She was good with whatever really, as long as the berries took effect in the breeding.
Stifling a yawn, she sat down in one of the chairs near the door and crossed her ankles far out in front of her. It was nice to have two normal enough legs now, though she'd gone through hell in order to get them that way, she figured.

"I usually give mine to the female. After all, all the pollen is going to her anyway, so it's not like there'll be any waste." Fiera said with a nod. Jack may well have been right, but trying to convince Fiera that she was wrong about something was a bit like trying to convince a train to leave its tracks and drive through a stone wall instead. Impossible, messy, and likely drawing a crowd.
She opened the cage door slightly and Deep almost immediately tried poking her head out, but Fiera gently pushed her back in with one finger before popping the berries in. "Not quite yet, sweetheart. Here, eat these." She said, closing the door again. Deep Deep Sleep seemed a little impatient, but if anything that just encouraged her to eat the berries faster, mashing them up and absorbing them through her feet. While she did that, Fiera opened up Tangerine's carrier and the male came rocketing out. He immediately ran over to the other males, eager to meet the new friends he made through the mesh of the cage. What interesting fellows they were! When Deep was finally done "eating" she pawed at the front of the cage, wanting to join in as well. Not wanting to put it off any longer, Fiera relented and opened the carrier door.

"Hey," Jack said with a smile and a shrug, "Should work either way, right?" She watched as the other woman fed the berries to her female and let the male out of the carrier. When he ran over to her males, Monarch and Toxie looked happy to meet him, though Toxie's eyes were still a little glazed over. That's what happened when you were, well, toxic sometimes. It was just a little thing from time to time, she couldn't fault him for it, she had ordered him that way! Honestly, she hadn't thought that was going to effect his personality though, but whatever, he was healthy and that was all that mattered, she figured.
She frowned a little and crossed her arms in front of her chest. She didn't know what to do right now, had it reached that awkward stage? There wasn't much she could think of right now, and that was fine, sitting in silence wasn't a horrible thing, in the end, was it? Plus Fiera would probably start talking, she didn't seem like the kind of woman who could handle silence very well. The topic might go to training or Houluh, Sarane or breeding, but whatever it was, she was sure she could find a few words!

"It should work perfectly well, I think!" Fiera said, opening the front of Deep's carrier. The female pachee stepped out a lot more gingerly than Tangerine did, but still trotted over to the males once she got her bearing. She might be more refined and elegant than Tangerine, but that didn't mean she didn't like boys. Tangerine hopped around her, glad his other friend got to come out and play. Now they could all play together!
Fiera sighed and leaned back. "Now I guess all we have to do is wait, eh? It usually doesn't take too long, but it FEELS like it takes forever. I usually bring a book, or a magazine, or- ohhh speaking of magazines, have you seen how much WELP Corp is getting in publicity lately? I bet that Morgan fellow isn't enjoying the spotlight. I've met 'em a couple times for breedings, and they don't seem one for the spotlight. The sarane tournament is starting to overtake it in the news cycle, but I'm sure they'll come out with some new doodad sooner or later." Fiera said, practically babbling about that and other juicy magazine gossip. Frankly, Jack could start speaking about any topic right now and chances are she would be on-topic with something Fiera said in the last thirty seconds.

Her own two males were even more excited when they saw the female. Oh, so that's what was supposed to happen! Happily shaking their tails, they both sniffed the new male and the female, pollen slowly loosing into the air as they did so, though who knew if the female would let it in?
"Oh yeah! I've adopted a few of their species but haven't done much with them yet. I'm thinking about buying one of their special breeds of Repointe, but I'm not sure I can afford it right now... They take that strange currency for those after all, and that seems to be hard to come by, at least by me," Jack told her, happily letting her take the lead for the conversation. She listened for a moment as the other woman babbled, smiling fondly the whole time before nodding again, "Yeah, I but a regular, untrained, unbroken Brown Drake in the tournament, though I've heard rumors you entered Algol?" That was exciting, she loved Yasmin's children and was thrilled to see people working with them more than she had so far. Of course she had Zoran and Zsa, but... she wasn't doing much with them, she really needed to work with Zsa though, considering how much work she'd put into breeding her.

"Oh yes, the repointe! I prefer those beefy dog things or maybe the scrawny cats myself, but I do like those ones. And gracious, all the BEST shops use strange currency if you ask me. How else can you know that something is truly valuable if it wasn't hard for you to get?" Fiera said with a chuckle, flopping back in one of the chairs on the inside edge of the breeding room. "Yes I have! Dearest Algol, my little devil star. I've high hopes for him- he is one of MY pets after all. I wouldn't expect anything but the best!" She said, puffing herself up. Really, it was a wonder she didn't pop. "I can see why you'd enter a plain brown though. Can't hurt to have more tournament experience, now can it?" She said with a nod.
Meanwhile, Deep was still playing coy. She scrambled up to the top of a small false hill and looked over her shoulder, as if inviting the boys to play. They'd have to try a little harder than THAT to get her attention, that was for sure. Tangerine scrambled to chase after her but tripped over his own legs and landed with a puff of pollen.

"Oh the Repointe are right up my alley. There's a... Permafrost breed, I think? That's the one I want, and I have a little currency saved up there, but I can't decide if I want one of those or to pay for a breeding, it's a hard decision you know!" she exclaimed with a chuckle. Smiling at the other woman, she watched her for a moment as she lit up when talking about Algol, and she knew she did the right thing selling him away, she was just glad someone good got him from the shop. "Yasmin, his mother, I tell about your training with him and what he's done since everything's registered and all that. She's pleased with him! I'm sure if he wins the tournament she'll be the proudest mama out there," Jack told her happily, then shook her head a little, "I've won a few in the past, Alexei, Andrei, and... Mikhail? It makes sense not to fight to win a few times, gotta let others have the win every now and then." The woman winked.
Monarch hopped, flapping his wings whenever he was in the air before charging after her and the other male, with Toxie trailing behind, his own glowing pollen trailing even further behind him.

"Oh, those permafrost are quite pretty. There's an easy solution to your problem, though." Fiera said, draping herself across the chair a bit further, half melting onto the one next to her. "Just get more money. Duh." She said. "Oh, Algol's from one of yours?" Fiera said, perking up a bit. "I never knew. The shop I got him from kind of botched his paperwork if I'm being honest. He's well prepared though- I got him an injection and everything." She said, with a note of pride. "Sounds like you have quite the rogues gallery though! And at least you'll get pit points for the fights." She finished.
Deep glanced behind her, watching as the males struggled to keep up with her. Was this the best she could do? She gave a few more flaps of her wings, using them to let her jump over obstacles more easily even if she couldn't fly. The flaps gave her height, and the little wing claws helped her get over objects. Soon however she grew tired of waiting for them to catch up, and spun around on one foot. It was her turn now! She crouched down and pounced at the nearest male, wings flapping wildly.

Jack laughed at that, just get more huh? "Well, that currency is a little harder for me to come by. You'd think it would be easier for me, but for some reason it's not. I guess I could trade credits for it, but I"m actually a little low on that as well lately..." Jack frowned a bit, uneasy about admitting this to Fiera. Oh well, it was out and there wasn't anything she could do about it now. Turning to a smile, she nodded happily, "That's great about the injection! I tried selling him on my own but no one wanted a Brown, even if he was going to be a tier three. So I ended up selling him to the shop. At least he went to a better home than his brother did... though I do have his other brother and his sister." The woman made a face.
Monarch and Toxie skidded to a stop and danced in place, pollen flying everywhere, before Monarch zoomed off, his own wings giving him the edge over Toxie who trailed behind after a little bit. It was easy to see the glowing Pachee's trail, however, considering his glowing pollen as well. Jack chuckled, she had an odd bunch.
