I'm working on crafting lists on what to train my boys and one is injected, the others have a passed down injection move from his parent. How would the tree of teaching certain moves work around these. In specific, thunderball and call lightning, and harsh gust. From twilight's past (unanswered) help requests, this is a list of possible electrical things. "Question 1: (Call Lightning, Training Moves, Electricity) link 1 Link 2I was wondering with Call Lightning if a creature either has it in their base stats or got injected with it, if they can also further develop these moves down below. I think with Ker-Zaap! It is a given since one of the tournament pets was able to use that as an extra move with the ribbon and that couldn’t have been chosen in the first place if it couldn’t have been trained to use it either. (That particular info came about with Rayak’s Tournament Application on wondering if he could use Thunder as an extra move for the ribbon.) Bio Pulse Zap Static Wave Static Touch Electric Charge Thunder? Ping?" Could those creatures learn sonic blast? Its in the electrical move pool, but its sound. In the idea of harsh gust, I've been able to train caiman wing buff, silence and air's wrath. Would any of these moves be able to be taught, branching from harsh gust? winter gust gale winds wind burst arrow of wind wall of wind tornado whirlwind

For injection moves, typically it's been you get the move you injected them for and ONLY that move. Anything that has the same damage effect and is a lesser form of that move has been accepted on a case by case basis in the past. Like with Breathe Fire, we would probably approve Fire Spout but that's about it.
Injections do not turn your pet into an elemental of that element, you just get a resistance (if that's what you picked) and one or two moves, that's it.
For the wind moves though: Winter Gust - denied due to mentality vs. flt damage Gale Winds - denied due to using Shadow damage as well Wind Burst - denied due to mentality vs. flt damage Arrow of Wind - denied due to mentality vs. flt damage Wall of Wind - denied due to higher TP cost and very different effects Tornado - denied due to higher TP cost Whirlwind - denied due to very different effects
For the Electric moves: Bio Pulse - denied due to very different effects Zap - I could see this happening, though the way of summoning seems to be different so it would be a case by case basis Static Wave - denied due to different effects Static Touch - denied due to different summoning effects Electric Charge - denied due to different summoning effects Thunder - denied due to "A mighty stomp or flap of wings causes an extremely loud sound" (unless it has wings or is big enough like a Thundergug to stomp) Ping - denied due to different summoning effects
