Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

The last battle had been a crazy thing to witness and totally unexpected! But you wouldn't be able to tell that by looking at the sarane. He behaved as if nothing had happened, though maybe a little pissier after having wounds tended to. Sushi was quickly ushered into the pit and Ashe saw him off before he headed up into the stands. It was the least he could do. When he got up there, he was able to see that he had beaten his opponent to the punch; how often did that happen anymore! Ashe was becoming quite the slacker. Or rather, opposite slacking off, as he simply had too much on his plate to remember what day it was. So far, so good, he hadn't missed a date yet.
Down below, Sushi let out a roar, angered that the pit was empty. What was he supposed to do with that!! He paced, his claws and tail kicking up sand, wings alternating between curling, stretched up, and dragging.

To say Nerius was surprised at how their last battle had ended would be an understatement. When the their three's jaws latch onto the purple, he'd thought that would be the end of things, but somehow, Schism had endured the hit. Not only that, he'd managed to land a strike back on the flying drake, despite his injuries.
Schism was, of course, quite pleased with himself for that, and was in a much better mood for this trip to the Pit than the last. It hadn't made him move any faster though, and he could tell by the roaring below that their foes had already arrived. From his place in the stands, Nerius studied the other drake. A brown, unbroken judging by his feral movements, no jewelry, and thankfully not another tier three. He doubted they'd seen the last of the longhorns, but hopefully this fight at least wouldn't be as nerve wracking as the rest. Schism wasn't nervous in any case, just excited, and snarled back at the brown as he was released into the sands.

Notes
- Schism can use all moves and abilities he knows
- Sushi flies into a rage when he see the other Drake and will be controlled by staff
- Schism goes first due to higher Dexterity

Nerius considered having Schism turn invisible again, but he doubted the brown had any odd tricks up his sleeve, and as they'd learned the hard way in their first fight, invisibility didn't mean the purple drake was safe. Besides, from a past tournament, he knew Schism was capable of taking down a low tier drake in one good hit.
<Rend,> he commanded the drake through the ribbon, opting for the use of brute force. Schism was happy to follow this 'strategy', he usually complained if he couldn't go right for an attack. He looked to be moving faster than the brown, thanks to the bracelet no doubt, and with an eager snarl, lunged for the other drake, ready to sink his claws in. With any luck, he'd take down his foe without too much trouble, but if this tournament had made anything clear, it was that fights could, and would, go in unexpected directions.

Sushi heard the doors open and saw his opponent arrive. His muscles tensed and he wanted to lunge at him, though thankfully he reined himself in until the doors shut behind Schism. He couldn't help himself, and the brown drake shot forward, having nothing else on his mind besides the need to draw blood, to beat this drake into the ground. His wings were curled tight to his body to make it easier to run, less drag, but Sarane were still less graceful on land than they were in the air. When he was close enough, he made a small leap, meaning to take the brute down with his body weight and rip his throat out. Little did he know, the purple drake had other plans.
Ashe looked over at the (rather lovely, iconic) drake. He recognized Schism, had seen him in battle before, he was pretty sure. This time, he was pretty sure that silver backing would be blood splattered with brown blood.
[Sushi does a thing]

Calculations
Schism uses Rend! Schism's Dexterity of 5 + 9 = 14 vs. the 4 Dexterity of Sushi Schism will deal the most damage possible! Schism's Strength of 7 + 6 damage of Rend = 13 damage 13 - Sushi's Resistance of 5 = 8 Sushi's Stamina is now -1
Try as he might, the unbroken Drake can't do a single thing. He falls down, bleeding profusely as the Pit crew come out to tend to him.
Results Schism gains 2 levels and Nerius gains 5 pit prize points Sushi gains 1 level and Ashe gains 3 pit prize points
