Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

They'd been on standy for a round and now they were back, not that Dunkin really seemed to care, she figured. Giving a little shrug, she trudged up into the stands and stretched out as she found her customary seat. Leaning back in the chair, she watched as the Drake was let loose in the arena and started to sniff around, seeing if there was something there he couldn't see. She'd heard about a Drake there who had to be related to a Purple, as he could go invisible at will it seemed. That was something she figured she should tell him, and she smiled a little as she thought about it. At least that would make things interesting in the fight if that was the one they were up against, and she smiled a little as she thought about it for now. Hopefully she could figure out what to do, and hopefully he wouldn't lose too badly.

Their last battle had, unfortunately, gone how Nerius had suspected it might. Which was to say, the well trained tier three had swiftly defeated Schism, who was now terribly sulky about the whole ordeal. He'd grumbled when they'd left the kennel, and he'd complained while they were on the way to the Pit, but even with his bad attitude, hadn't actually been unwilling to show up to the next round. It wasn't that he didn't want to fight, he just wanted to throw a pissy fit the whole time. Nerius, uh, may have loosened his half of the ribbon a little, reducing the drake's complaining to background noise, though he tightened the ribbon again as they reached the Pit.
Their opponent it seemed, was already here, and for once it wasn't the drake that caught his attention first, but the sheer amount of magical energy radiating from the other side of the Pit. Oh, so that's who they were up against. Still, the drake in the arena looked like an ordinary unbroken brown, albeit with a magical bracelet, and Schism snarled when he saw his opponent.
[Ready!]

Notes
- Schism can use everything he knows
- Dunkin can't use Climb, he flies into a rage when seeing the other Drake and will be rolled by staff
- Schism wins the coin flip and will go first

While Schism growled, and attempted to make himself as threatening as possible to the other drake, Nerius considered their options. Rend or phase? Rend or phase... It seemed a little overkill for Schism to go invisible against a feral brown, but the bracelet was a little bit of a concern. An unbroken brown was more unpredictable than an opponent's strategy, but if the brown ended up moving faster, that could complicate things.
<Phase out,> Nerius sent the command through the ribbon, having come to a decision. It might have been excessive, but better safe than sorry, in this case. Schism had had mixed success in this tournament, and fights that had ended up with unexpected results. Schism had a better chance against this brown than he had their last opponent, but Nerius still couldn't feel sure about this fight, even as the purple drake gave one last snarl, before flickering, starting to rapidly disappear. [Schism uses Phase Out]

Well now... she knew this Drake could turn invisible. That would be interesting if he took it into account. Jack smiled a little and leaned forward, this one might actually be pretty interesting to watch, she figured. If not, well, it wouldn't be the end of the world, she just hoped that Dunkin wouldn't win, that would be the worst, he didn't need a bigger head than he already had, she figured. Frowning, she shook her head, she didn't know what to do about things at the moment, she was feeling a little... off lately, she figured as she sighed, and she glanced down at her hand with a little smile after a little while. Well, that was something to look forward to, she figured with a grin on her face, and then glanced back up at Dunkin as he raged toward the other Drake, surely not knowing what was going to happen right now.
[Dunkin does a thing]

Schism successfully vanished, as he had been trained to, and Nerius' gaze was drawn to the remaining visible drake. As expected, the brown was a raging bundle of angry, but he seemed confused? Nerius didn't really know what was going on inside the drake head (other than rargh murder!), but he didn't try to attack the now invisible Schism, as others had. Instead, Nerius watched as his muscles bunched, and he took flight. Huh, that was what the unbroken tier three had done as well when Schism had gone invisible. Maybe that desire to take flight against an unseen foe was some sort of instinct?
But it hadn't helped the longhorn, and Nerius hoped it wouldn't help this drake either. <Rend,> Nerius gave the command, and though he couldn't see the purple drake, he had little doubt that Schism would lunge at the brown when he flew close enough, eager to tear into his foe with his claws.
[Schism uses Rend]
