Sevyrn had been on quite the shopping kick today, having decided that it was time to make her rounds of the shops and finally pick up a bunch of stuff that she had needed (or more wanted) to get for quite some time. She had already visited the Zoological Imports store and Nature's Bounty, and now it was time for a stop that she had never made before - Hook, Line and Sinker.
Sev had never been a big fisher before, but she liked to open herself up to opportunities. What harm could come from bringing home fresh fish to put on the table, anyways? None - she could only get a good meal out of it, or maybe put together an aquarium in her living room. That would be pretty cool, right?
With a little list of what she wanted in hand, she walked in to the store and glanced around. Upon seeing the shopkeeper she walked over with a friendly smile on her face. "Hey! I was looking to pick up a few basic things - the pro fishing pole, a long handled net, and some bait. Let's say five worms. Would that be possible?"
Ka'shisk grinned, and was moving away from the counter before the customer had finished speaking. "Of coursssse," She said, reaching up to carefully take a pole and a net down from their shelves. "Isssss there anything elsssse I can get for you today?" While waiting for a response, she began to count out the worms.
This one was going to be easy to work with - Sevyrn loved quick, easy transactions. Talking to people that she wasn't already familiar with always came with that slight sting of anxiety that put her off, not bad enough to keep her inside yet enough that she would be as nice as she could and hope that things would be over as quickly as possible.
"Nope, I'm just looking for some starter stuff. Unless you can think of anything else that I would really need going out fishing for the first time." Already Sevyrn was starting to ramble just a touch, a common part of having to talk to her. "Either way I will probably be back in a while to stock back up on worms, and I may have a better idea of what I really want by then. So I'm completely fine with just the net, rod and bait."
Ka'shisk nodded. She was cool with people chatting, since she was getting a sale either way! "That'ssss fine. Thissss will sssset you up perfectly. 150 creditssss, pleasssse." The customer's purchases were set on the counter and ready to go!
"Beautiful, I was worried it might end up being expensive but that's pretty alright." All she needed was a hundred and fifty credits, and then she would be ready to go - beautiful. Getting set up to fish was significantly cheaper than getting set up to head to the mines had been, and coupled with the fact that she wasn't nearly as broke as she had been all those years ago, this was easy-peasy.
After taking her wallet out of her pocket, Sevyrn began to count out the money that she would need to hand over in counts of ten. After she was sure that she had counted out just as much as she needed, she double-checked and then handed it over. "Credits should all be there, let me know if I mis-counted," she said as she waited for Ka'shisk to acknowledge everything was there and be able to grab her new gear. As soon as she could, Sevyrn was ready to head out.
