[Follow – 5]
Life had a way of throwing curves at you when you least expected it, the man reflected as he motioned for Robin to follow him again, ”Robin, follow me.” The puppy pranced after him and pawed at his pants a little but didn’t get a treat. Much to his frustration, Robin kept following, however, even though he wasn’t entirely sure why. He got it, he didn’t always have to have a treat, but it was certainly nice to get one… Obsidion patted him on the head for a moment and then shook his head, he wasn’t sure what to do with him right now, but that was perfectly fine he supposed. He just wished this would go a little faster in the long run, but he knew better than to fully hope for that, he figured with a frown. Oh well, it didn’t really matter, it wasn’t like he had a lot of stuff to do right now, he only had two animals after all.

Move – 1
Stuff was going well, and if he had anything to say in it, and he did, then he knew that he would be able to keep Robin in the long run. Rubbing his face, he just hoped he didn’t drop where he was and take a nap, that would be the worst. He was tired, and he should probably stop for the night and get some rest, as well as let the little puppy rest, but for now there was still more to do, they would get a few more things and then go home for the night, he figured. Rubbing his head, he nudged the puppy out of the way as he walked toward him, ”Move, Robin.” The puppy yelped, even though he was barely touched, and glowered at the man. Obsidion chuckled a little and handed him a treat, ”Good move, Robin.” Sure, he’d done all the work, but that wasn’t the point of it now was it? Maybe things would finally go his way after a little while.

Move – 2
”Move, Robin,” he said again, gently nudging the puppy out of the way as he walked toward him. Robin snorted and growled cutely for a moment before wandering off and then getting a treat for a reward. Sure, Obsidion was doing all the work but that wasn’t necessarily the point, the point was to get his mind working that the word meant the action, which was true of all training, he figured. Frowning a little, he wondered what he should be doing right now other than this, there had to be better ways to make money. It helped that he had just applied to be a cook somewhere in the Labs, hopefully he would get the job, he didn’t know what else might happen at this point. Still though, for now he had to focus on Robin, and he walked toward him again, treat in his palm, ”Move, Robin.” The puppy stood there stubbornly until the man went to move him, and then he scurried out of the way.

Move – 3
He liked the Houluh well enough at this point, it seemed, and the Houluh seemed to like him as well. It would get better between the two with the more time they spent together, of course, but for right now all he wanted to do was keep going with the training, he needed to learn some things so he could keep him, he knew. ”Move, Robin,” Obsidion told him with a smirk as he reached out to nudge the puppy to the side when he walked toward him. Robin edged out of the way on his own though when he reached out for him, which was definitely a good sign, and he got a treat for a job well done. He just had to hope the rest of the training would go so well, and he wondered if he should work toward breeding Robin at some point. Things were going good for him right now though, he didn’t want to put too much on his plate at the moment at least.

Move – 4
It was alright, everything would be fine as long as they kept working, no matter how tired the man was getting. It was a little frustrating when all was said and done, but he knew that things would be best if he took care of them now instead of waiting until the last minute. Obsidion rubbed the back of his head and then started walking toward the puppy, ”Move, Robin.” Robin scrambled out of the way with a bark and bounded around for a moment before plopping down and giving a big puppy yawn. The man wished they could take a break, but they just couldn’t afford to do it yet, he wanted to take a good, well mannered puppy back to Nadia’s house, not a rambunctious little one who wouldn’t listen to anyone but him. Robin got a treat for doing a good job and the man wondered again what they needed to think of for the next few tricks or what.

Move – 5
”Move, Robin,” he said again with a little frown as he walked toward the puppy. Robin dodged out of the way of the man as he walked and looked up at him with a bark and a wag of his tail. He was doing so well the man knew they couldn’t take a break yet, not with how tired they both were. Chances were, they would stop and never come back to it, and it would be a shame for them to work so hard just for Robin to have to go back to the HAA. Obsidion sat down next to the puppy and stroked the fur on his back for a little while as they rested for just a bit, but not a full fledged break. There were things he could learn while sitting down, after all, like, well, sitting on command. That would be a good one, the man knew, and he fed Robin another treat with a yawn before leaning back against a tree and eyeing the puppy for a moment or two.

[Sit – 1]
This was good enough for him, he could teach the puppy to sit on command and then things would be that much better. At least he would sit when he stayed somewhere and wouldn’t get too tired, or at least that was the hope. Obsidion stared at the little puppy for a moment and then pressed lightly on his backside, ”Sit, Robin.” Robin resisted for a few moments before sitting down and tilting his head at the man, floppy ears going to one side as he stared before getting a treat. ”Good sit, Robin!” the man told him with a smile, hoping that things would go this well during the entire training. That would be the best, if it went well and all that. Giving a little yawn, he wondered if this would be good enough for tonight or what, so what was going to happen right now anyway? Everything would be alright in the end, he knew.

[Sit – 2]
With the pup wandering around now, the man called him over and then told him, ”Sit, Robin.” The puppy tilted his head at the man for a moment before Obsidion pressed lightly on his backside to get him to sit down. Once he did and was sitting there, he got a treat for doing a job well done. The man gave him a little smile and wondered what else to do after he got this one down, he had a couple more tricks to teach him, but other than that, what? Surely knowing how to defend yourself was important, he supposed, so he might teach him a few battle moves, not like he would most likely be fighting anytime soon, but that wasn’t really the point, he figured. Sighing, Obsidion leaned back against the picnic table in his area and wondered what was happening to him. What was he going to do when all this was done anyway?

[Sit – 3]
While he was pretty certain now that he knew what he was going to train, there was still an ounce of doubt there, though he didn’t really understand why. Maybe it was because he’d never trained something like that, and his experience wasn’t really all that great. Obsidion sighed a little and watched Robin before calling him over again and telling him to sit. ”Sit, Robin,” he said with a look at the puppy, and the Houluh hesitated for a moment or two before the man reached out to him to press down on his backside, and then he sat before he could really do that. That was great and the man was pleased, giving him a little treat for a job well done. ”Very good, Robin!” Obsidion patted him on the head as the Houluh barked around the treat, wondering what was going to happen to them both in the future.

[Sit – 4]
”Come here Robin, now sit,” Obsidion said again when the puppy started to wander off. He trotted back over to the man and shifted on his paws for a moment before sitting down gingerly, unsure if that was really what he was supposed to do or not. Of course it was, and the man told him as much as he gave him his treat, ”Very good sit, Robin!” The puppy sat there for a little while as he chewed on his treat and wondered what the point of this was. He could already do it, he just… didn’t necessarily do it whenever he said something. He was now though, that was abundantly clear, he figured, and Robin barked a bit after he swallowed the treat with a beaming look in his eyes. Though it irritated him a little to do what the man asked of him, he was still doing it and everything would be alright in the end. It didn’t matter to him why he was doing it, just that he was, apparently.

[Sit – 5]
Sitting was pretty easy, and Obsidion had to admit, it was pretty easy to teach, he thought Robin had it down already at least. They still needed to keep trying, however, if only to make sure he had it down at this point. Everything would be fine, he knew, and he told the puppy to sit once more, ”Sit, Robin.” Robin almost immediately planted himself on the ground with his backside and wagged his tail as he sat there, expecting a treat but knowing he probably wasn’t going to get it anyway. This was fine though, he was making the man happy and that counted as well, right? Obsidion chuckled and rubbed the little one’s head for a moment or two, feeling the velvety soft fur under his hand. This was a good thing at the moment, and the man chuckled a little, wondering what was next. Probably laying down on command, but… what else could it really be?

[Lay Down – 1]
Teaching him to lay down on command was going to be a little easier now that he could sit on command. Obsidion had him sit down and then showed him a treat, holding it to the ground underneath him a little, ”Robin, lay down.” The Houluh pawed at the treat for a moment before laying down and gobbling it up happily, also getting a pat on the head. This would be easy enough, he knew, but for now things needed to happen pretty quickly so they could head home and Nadia could meet Robin. The man was actually pretty excited for it for some reason, and he smiled at the Houluh puppy as he thought of the woman he was living with for the time being. She was so nice and pretty, and he was lucky to have met her, but for now he needed to focus on the puppy, he had to stop thinking about her.

[Lay Down – 2]
”Lay down, Robin,” he said again after having him sit once more. Robin looked down at the treat and stumbled down into a laying position and got the treat for a job well done. The man patted him on the head as he munched on the treat, and Robin woofed lightly. He was getting big, and he figured he would be as big as Mabel by the time they got there, but he had to worry about other things right now, like what all he was going to train him, after all. He knew what he wanted to train him, he was just a little unsure of what order he was going to train him in. Learning to be tolerant of moving him around should be first, and then the attacks, but in what order to do those? Obsidion sighed a little and shook his head, wondering what to do, but for now he was just happy with the puppy and happy they were almost done with this, then he would be his forever.

[Lay Down – 3]
He was doing pretty well, but he mostly just wanted the treats and Obsidion knew that so far. The man smiled a little and had him sit down again before holding a treat under him and telling him, ”Lay down, Robin.” Robin sniffed at the treat for a moment or two before laying down and pinning it between his two forepaws. He nibbled at it a little and yawned, he was getting tired and full, his belly was getting big and he was ready to be done, but Obsidion knew they needed to do it a few more times in order to get this done. They would be home soon and he would meet Cookie and all would be well, she loved puppies if her meeting with Gelert was any indication. Nothing bad would happen right now though, which was certainly good, and he smiled, wondering what to do. All he knew was that things were going to be alright.

[Lay Down – 4]
Things were going great for the pair, and he knew the training was a little over halfway done, when speaking of how much he wanted to train the Houluh. He did need quite a bit more experience, however, which was a shame, but they could come back out tomorrow and do the rest of it before his little show they needed to do, Obsidion figured. Stretching out his back, he then laid another treat down on the ground, smaller this time, ”Lay down, Robin.” He yawned and then laid down with a bark and nibbled on the treat before yawning again. Things were going well, but he was tired and the puppy wasn’t sure what was going to happen right now. He was alright at the same time, and everything was going to go well whenever he thought about it. Now if they could just leave and all that, then he would be good, but he had a feeling the man wanted to do it at least once again.
