[Claw – 10]
With this almost finished, Obsidion could see the end of the training drawing near. Maybe he would put Robin in the new contest that was going on, see if they could do much of anything at this point. It would be nice just to gain some points for the future at least, he figured with a little smile on his face. The man pointed at the log again, hopefully for the last time, and said, ”Claw.” Robin swiped his paw at the log, claws digging in as deep at they could. Not a full rend, but a claw was good enough for the man right now he figured, maybe when he grew bigger they would flesh things out a little, but there was no way to know for sure right now. Still, however, the man praised the pup for doing a job well done and hoped that this would mean good things for the future.

[Kick – 1]
So the other two moves were pretty self explanatory, but he wasn’t sure how to do kick. Sure, he knew how to do it himself and all that, but for the pup…? Obsidion frowned a little and then gently took the pup’s foreleg and then swiped it against the log with the back of his paw. This was a weird gesture and he wasn’t sure how Robin was going to do with it, but to his surprise the pup seemed to understand a little of what needed to be done. The man smiled a little and then gave him the command, ”Kick!” Hopefully he could put two and two together in order to do what he needed to do, but the man wasn’t entirely sure it would be that simple. Maybe things would work out for him, he really wasn’t all that sure, but this was alright at the same time. Obsidion patted him on the back, this would be weird.

[Kick – 2]
Obsidion rubbed the back of his head, still itching a little from his growing hair, and he hoped that he wasn’t getting sick or anything. Honestly he felt pretty tired, but he didn’t know what to do for himself right now. All he wanted to do was finish up the pup’s training and put on a show so he could be blessed by the goddess or whatever they were trying to push. He rolled his eyes and then glanced down at Robin, who knew, maybe he believed in that kind of stuff, but there was no way to tell right now. Obsidion looked at him and took his paw again, hitting the log with the back of his paw, ”Kick, Robin!” Robin looked up at him and then tilted his head, a little unsure of things right now, but he knew that everything would be fine in the end, he just had to learn this new thing, right?

[Kick – 3]
Hopefully that kind of kick started the thought in his head, at least that’s what Obsidion was thinking at the moment. ”Kick, Robin!” he said again with a smile, hitting the back of Robin’s paw against the log. He looked at him and tilted his head, wondering what the man was doing with him at the moment. He didn’t mind getting this going right now, but… what was he supposed to do really? It made sense, obviously, he was supposed to hit the log, but how hard? This also hurt the back of his paw and he wasn’t that thrilled about it at the moment. Whatever, he would be fine, and the man hadn't steered him wrong yet, had he? At least he didn't think so, and he barked a little as he thought about it, looking at the man with a bit of fondness in his eyes for the moment.

[Kick - 4]
Right, now on to the next part, getting him to do it himself. That was tough, he knew, but he also knew that Robin was understanding things a little better by now, and he hoped that it meant this training would go quickly instead of slow like the rest of it seemed to have gone. Obsidion pointed at the log, "Kick, Robin!" The Houluh looked at the log and then lightly tapped it with the back of his paw, a good first start of doing it on his own though there was still quite a bit that needed to be done. He definitely needed quite a bit of power behind the kick, which was going to be difficult to get him to do, though he'd done rather well with the other two attacks he had taught the pup so far. Obsidion smiled though, everything would be fine he knew, he just had to be good.

[Kick - 5]
Obsidion rubbed the back of his head and smiled at the little Houluh pup, wondering what he was going to do with him for now. He really needed to focus on getting things done, and this was the last of it before his show, but he had to make sure things were going to be fine. "Kick!" the man told the pup again, and Robin aimed his paw at the log and then kicked it lightly. Definitely needed more power, but at least he had the action down. It was just a little while longer and then they could go to the Contest Hall and be done with it all. He honestly couldn't wait for it to happen, he knew it would be fine, but part of him still worried a little somewhat. The man just shrugged a little, if it was difficult, then it would be difficult, and he knew it would be alright though.

[Kick - 6]
Robin knew this was important to the man for some reason, though he didn't quite know why, but he would do the best he could in order to learn what he was teaching so he wouldn't be disappointed in him anytime soon. The Houluh kicked the log again, a little harder this time when the command was given, "Robin, kick!" Obsidion chuckled when he looked at him expectantly and then gave him a treat for a job well done. He knew this was part of what needed to happen no matter what, and a smile drifted across his face as he thought about things. The show would go well, he knew, but he was still a little nervous about it. What if something went wrong and he didn't do what he needed to do? That would be the worst, but he knew that Robin was pretty loyal when all was said and done, they would be fine.

[Kick - 7]
Obsidion pointed at the log again, "Kick!" He smiled when the pup kicked at it, making a hollow thunking sound when he hit it. Good, he was getting a little more power behind it, but they still needed to work on it a little bit. Things would go well, he knew, and he smiled a little as he tried to think of what to do at the moment. Obsidion rubbed Robin's head and smiled at him, hoping they would be thick as thieves for years to come. Of course they would be, there was no way around it at the moment, and he knew that everything would be fine in the long run. As he leaned back against the log, he gave Robin his treat for doing a good job and then looked at the sky. The sun was starting to set, it had taken awhile for this training to be done, but that was alright.

[Kick - 8]
Kicking the log was starting to bother his paw a little, and so when the command came again, he switched up paws. "Robin, kick!" Obsidion said loudly, pointing at the log. Robin thunked his paw against the log and looked at him, pleased with himself for the moment as to switching paws in order to do what he had to do. He really hadn't thought about doing that until now, but that was perfectly fine, at least he'd figured it out eventually. The man looked proud of him as well, and he hoped that everything would work out in the long run. Pushing through his short hair, he gave the Houluh a treat with a smile and then sighed a little. He wished they could be done, but they had to do it a few more times before he called it good for now at least. There was much more to do tonight after all.

[Kick - 9]
Right, keep going, no matter how late it was starting to get. Obsidion groaned a little and then eyed the pup for a moment before telling him again, "Robin, kick!" The pup kicked at the log as hard as he could, knowing he needed the strength behind it before he could really be done with this. Yes, he understood, he got it, he needed to do this when he said so, why stretch it out? It didn't occur to him that the man was waiting for this exact moment, and he smiled a little at him, wondering what to do with him right now. Patting him on the head, he knew they would need to do it at least once more before it was all good and everything. All things said and done, Robin was doing great, Obsidion just needed to know it was drilled into his head at this point, and then they could leave finally.

[Kick - 10]
Obsidion stood up and stretched out before pointing at the log one last time, "Kick, Robin!" Robin kicked as hard as he could one last time and then pranced over to the man, barking as he went with each step. He was proud of himself and he got a little treat for doing such a good job and being such a trooper with everything. The man was happy, they were finally finished and now they could go do his show. Wondering what he would look like grown, he eyed Robin for a bit and then shrugged, he would still love him the same, no matter what he looked like. Giving a little laugh, he rubbed his head and then went to put all of his borrowed supplies away, not wanting to leave a mess out for anything at the moment, that just wouldn't be nice for him to do now would it? Hmm, Nadia was rubbing off on him.
