Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

Turns out the sheer power of a murp wasn't just built into the front half. The back half too. Puzzled that so much power could go into your back legs, Lisan's eyes squeezed shut while humans were trying to tend to her very painful face. She lashed out and kicked one person and seemed to drive them off once, but came back with ropes and such to catch and hold and make things harder (for them). It was later that the very unhappy giraffe regarded her snout with frustration. It was so high up, but if she were kicking out, it did involve bringing her head a bit lower so she could get a good idea of distance. After all, so high up wasn't going to hit a target. Was it possible for something so tall to have issues with calculating distance visually? Perhaps the baakir was nearsighted. Ridelys didn't know, because Lisan's behavior didn't say as such, even as she walked out into the pit... for probably another kick to the chest or the face. What was it with these back kickers anyhow. ready

I was starting to think that this was a big waste of time. Two fights and no wins so far. It was disappointing to say the least. I wasn't sure if Igor was up to the task after all, but I was committed to see the tournament through to the end. I could still use it as a learning opportunity for next time, I supposed. The look on my face was not a joyous one when I made my way into the arena with Igor and took my place in the stands.
Our new opponent was a tall creature with a long neck. Another one I was unfamiliar with. I made a mental note of what it looked like and the way it moved. The more I could learn about my opponents, the better equipped I was for the next tournament. Igor didn't hesitate to run into the arena and take his place, waiting for my command. I had to give it to him, even if he wasn't a winner, he was still pretty tough and I was proud of him for that.
[Waiting.]

- Lisan Milkiun can use all moves
- Igor can use all moves
- Lisan Milkiun goes first due to higher Dexterity

Shock. About the best idea that could come to mind. Shock. Granted, if talking animals, by ring or by magic were more common, there would be vulticus or even a sarane commanding their own kind here, right? So a dragon, a live dragon, her silvery mane over a lapis lazuli scaled hide waltzed into the pit, leading a creature, it threw at least Ridelys for a loop. But it wasn't going to help trying to make sense of seeing a dragon, a tat lung if her eyes weren't decieving. Only a few of those had kept fish whiskers. Lisan noticed the change of demenor and sound around her as the fancy lizard with a collar on their neck came in, and escorted a smaller, pricklier lizard. No seriously, those thorns on their back were almost as long as her legs were. What an unusual creature; covered in spikes and what appeared to be something hard on its head. Nothing she had seen, and usually what hadn't been seen, was kicked. -kick-

Once again the person staring back at me from the stands looked surprised to see me. She must have been expecting another human. All of the strange looks I received only restored my vigor. No matter how long it took, I would prove to all of them that I deserved to be here. I turned my head away to focus on Igor. This would be another tough one for him, I thought. That creature was a lot bigger than he was, but that wasn't about to stop us from trying.
As soon as the fight had officially started, I knew what to do. "Igor, bite!" I called out. I discovered early that his bite was much more lethal than his claws, especially when the creature he was up against was so much bigger than him. Igor waited for an opening, and just as he had done every time before, he lunged forward with a bite. He tried his best to grab onto the tall creature's leg and bring it down to his level.
[Igor uses bite.]

Calculations
Lisan Milkiun uses Kick! Lisan Milkiun's Dexterity of 6 + 6 rolled by staff = 12 vs. 4 Dexterity of Igor Lisan Milkiun will deal the most damage possible Lisan Milkiun's Strength of 5 + 4 damage of Kick = 9 damage 9 - 3 Resistance of Igor = 6 Igor's Stamina is now 0
Lisan Milkiun comes in contact with Igor's Thorny Body Lisan Milkiun takes 2 damage Lisan Milkiun's Stamina is now 5
Even though the Baakir took him down, Igor still managed to get a hit in somehow. The Pit crew rush out to tend to both animals.
Results Lisan Milkiun gains 2 levels and Ridelys gains 5 pit prize points Igor gains 1 level and Star gains 3 pit prize points
