Baby,
,
The library had a book on baakir while Flare had been studying, and on a literal whim, he picked it off the shelf and started to read. There were five breeds in total; geti with their ruddy red/brown fur and a black trim, sehel, which resembled a very tall leaf eater in the grasslands he was told in stories, quagga, with their monochromatic stripes and tiny spots he couldn't explain why, or it was a mistake on the artists part. The last two entries were a bit vague; the kakum's picture looked very specific to the baakir that walked wild in his garden, with their posterior stripage and milky faces. The last entry mentioned the taiga baakir, a longhaired white beast who originally was a northern dwelling breed but for a price, could be acquired through the Hunters Lodge. Acquired? Like live or dead? Perhaps his baakir would be more impartial to interaction with him if there were another kind of baakir in the area?
The hunters lodge gave the tumaian a small case of the willies as he held the checked out library book to his chest, bookmarked to the baakir's entry. Bring all the information about the creature to them if possible, the librarian told him. Don't haggle, I hear bad things about hagglers there. And don't pet the deer. Huh?
The door opened as he came inside. Oh, there was a deer in here. Carefully, he walked his way up to the counter, and offered the book to the shopkeeper.
"Good evening. I...I am interested in finding a live taiga baakir. I hear you are the shop to ask?"
