Thankfully with Mira full grown, she wasn't nearly so needy. But Dawson seemed to be constantly underfoot, underpaw. He didn't want to leave my side. Not since that trip to the estate outside of the city. I certainly hope it wasn't going to be spooky and creepy all year long, at least go back to it being a harvest season wonderland. I had to wait until Dawson fell asleep to get out of the kennel and consult Kevin about something for the poor houlou to do. Get toys, get a larger space, take him for more walks... all those things I already had tried, but without much credit to my name, I had to afford said things, and even to feed the creature. "What about adopting a new puppy playmate? There's plenty of breeders in the city who donate the figurative runt of the litter to the contest hall's adoption agency." she suggested.
