Thick Fur
The creature's exceptionally thick fur helps protect it from the cold and the wind, as well as physical attacks (such as bite and claw), but it also makes it very hard for the creature to swim, and the creature with thick fur may suffer from heat-strokes on very hot days. Creature has Cold Resistance and 1/4th Wind Immunity. The creature takes 1/2 damage from "physical" (non-elemental) attacks. The creature cannot swim, and has Fire Weakness. The weaknesses and resistances of Thick Fur are void if the creature has another weakness or resistance that directly counters it (for example, fire resistance removes the effect of thick fur's fire weakness). This creature also cannot ever learn to swim, and will drown (die) in deep water.
Passive - Untrainable

Using a Charm of Underwater Travel
"This special charm allows the wearer to breathe under water! Be careful, though! If a creature looses it's charm, it may drown if it can't make it to the surface for air! Also, most air breathing creatures will be very uncomfortable being forced underwater to test out the item, and won't understand that they can breathe normally at first. Still, it works like a charm! For creatures, not characters."
The charm would make it so the creature can't drown, and while it can't drown, could it learn swim? Would it always need to wear the charm in order to swim?
Using a Water Injection
A water injection could allow the creature to either have swim as an added ability or amphibious + illness. I'm sure the amphibious option would suffice in totally overcoming thick fur's penalty, but would opting for Swim via injection work?
Using 'Water Breathing'
Temporarily allows the creature to "breathe" water - preventing it from drowning.
Grants the ability "aquatic". May only be used once per day.
Another water injection option. Goes back to the question, if it can't drown, can it learn to swim whilst using this? And does it always need to in order to swim?
Another creature uses Sphere of Life
The creature materializes a large sphere (or bubble) of air around any target, including itself or it's owner. The sphere cannot be damaged by attacks, nor does it protect the one inside from any harm.. It does however, have a seemingly endless supply of "air", allowing the one(s) inside to breathe, even while deep underwater.
Temporarily grants "underwater breathing". Outside battle it lasts 3 hours.
Same conditions/questions as above. If another creature uses this move on one with Thick fur, could it learn to swim while using this protection? Would it always need this buff in order to swim?
Having the Lifeless Ability
More of question for say, a custom or a dark corners revive. Thick Fur + Lifeless = can learn swim, since it doesn't need to breathe? (and therefore can't drown)
