2150c total] 'Might as well be taking odd jobs.' Flare pondered as he finished depositing the money he'd been paid to train and babysit Percy into his personal stores. 'The money flows a bit faster then.' The taiga baakir he'd ordered would be arriving soon, and he needed materials on making a place for it to live. So quick credits would be handy to have. But he did want to grab a few items from the bounty store. Just his luck, someone whom he'd had talked to in the past, but not seen since his change, waved him down as he passed through the garden. Was he headed in the direction of the Nature's bounty? Was this person psychic at all? "Yes?" he answered. Got handed a list, which actually looked expensive, but the person offered to fund the trip and put a pouch of credits in his hand. He took note of the number on the garden gate they were in, and he went to the store. That list was quite long...
It wasn't too often that Flare caught a market stall restocking its goods when he came around. But this wasn't a market stall, where everyone in vacinity can see the restocking of the goods. This store had walls, a roof and a door, so much more privacy when that heppened. He nods a polite greeting upon opening the door and being greeted right there. That wasn't common either. "I have a list for purchasing today." the tumaian youth passes the list over to the shopkeeper, who sounds rather kind. "Two different transactions, if possible." It wasn't a complted list, and he only wanted a few items himself, so at the bottom of the list were a few of his own scribbles. Apparently there was some fish he could stock in a pool that were of neat colors and could be a good companion for Cowrie when she finally decided to swim around. Having a flying fish was confusing. x.20
Turner took the list and looked a little startled, this was quite the list, but he certainly had what was being asked for! "Of course, give me a few moments to get all of these together and then we can work on the next list," Turner said with a smile, and then gathered everything and put them into a bag, he looped a leash through the collar of the Orbaru that had been requested and then gave the total, "1850 for this trip!"
1850... what a large number. He had to do a bit of math in his head for the conversion of coins he used. 100c for an iron coin, 10c for a silver coin, and 1c for a copper coin. So that would be... eightteen iron coins and 5 silver coins. If his math were correct. Fishing out the correct change, Flare counted out the coins in little piles of five and six respectively. Wait a minute, why was he bringing out an orbaru. He glanced down at the list. Sure enough, 'orbaru, male, sloth'. Sloth... the thing was large and sleepy and so looked very tired. Did that mean sloth? Or was it because of being large. He'd look that up. What a bunch of berries that were being gathered. He noted the look of the berries being bought, because he'd not seen these growing in the garden. Were they rare? x.20
"One of each fish. The special fish for... lotine, I believe." Flare finally requested. On assumption there's a list of pricing somewhere close to the front of the store, he had evaluated it while looking at the goods. But why was the rainbow scaled fish so expensive? "I have a pond in my garden that I want to stock with some special looking fish. These looked to be a good choice for starting stock." He'd never seen a lotine before, not here, and not personally. It sounded like an unusual creature. Granted, he had seen a loooola, before. He would do some research or ask any of the people he'd been interacting with for pachee before. Didn't this person want their berries on a time limit? Were they perishable? No... no, he didn't think so. The berries when gathered looked almost slightly underripe. Was that on purpose for delivery? Did they ripen off the vine like a tomato? "I think this is enough....?" on a whim, he put out four iron coins. Since the fish was very expensive, with rainbow scaling. x.20
