It had to be kind of fate that a new salonne was announced right around the time that Sevyrn had finally grown her first pup, Sweetie. She hadn't been trained to be the smartest, but she had been a pretty smart little pup and what harm could be done? Sev herself had never been part of one of these shows, and worst case scenario the newcomer didn't absolutely bombed - that would just mean try again later, and after seeing the other performances she might have an idea what kind of tricks and moves would give the impression of smartest. Hopefully her and Sweets were ready, because as much as Sevyrn had doubts in her own abilities, this was going to be happening.
"I'd like to register Ice Cream Sandwich for the witts salonne," Sevyrn said to the receptionist, who then handed her the entry paperwork to fill out. All right... there was no turning back now.

Morgan wasn't entirely sure if they were going to continue doing a lot of houluh breeding, but apparently it was an issue as of recently that Salonnes were having difficulty finding the amount of entrants required to be able to run. The bespectacled human picks over their lovely kennel and selects the one that was perhaps their favorite in coloration- A male matronne referred to as Todd. He was trained to do all sorts of fun things, which they were sure would be okay for a Witts Salonne, though they had no illusions of winning. None of the rest of their houluh were as well trained as their beloved Nico.
"G-good day, I'd like to register Wiltholm Estate's What Does the Fox Say into the Witts Salonne."
They step up to the registrar and begin to fill out the papers as they are handed over. Todd stands, looking relatively foxish, as his name would suggest. He was a very well groomed hound, to say the least.

Well, this was going to be interesting. Kadin had been to the fighting pit and he'd been to the contest hall. He'd seen what goes on when creatures are put to the test against each other with claws and fangs. He figured that it was about time he see what happens when they're put to the test in the show room, too. He entered the contest hall and looked around. There was someone who looked like staff not far from the entrance so he went ahead and walked up to them, telling them, "Hey, I'd like to register 'Walk a Mile' for the Witts Salonne."
He was directed over to another area and given a form to fill out. This was NOT the same as when he had to fill out forms to register his houluh, he noted with a slight frown. Still, it was simple enough, so he filled it out and handed it in. Now it was time to wait to see what the hell happened next.

Arvest, Natural's Bring on Autumn Level: 15 Loyalty: 30 Stamina: 2 Strength: 2 Resistance: 1 Dexterity: 5 Mentality: 5 Special Abilities: None Moves: Bite Name (1), Come (1), Stay (1), No (1), Get (Plant) (1), Get (Shell) (1), Fishing (5), Bite (2), Claw (2) Another Salonne! The last one she had entered, Luna had finally won, and while she didn't really expect for Arvest to win this one (not against so many well trained Houluh at least!), they were still so fun to enter, plus she needed the points for the Contest Hall, as shallow as that was. With Arvest at her side, she walked into the Hall and registered, seeing several lovely Houluh in the arena so far, including one she had bred with before, Todd was it? Smiling, she waved at everyone and then stood in her spot with Arvest sitting next to her, his tail wagging ever so slightly as he sat there. He was much less formal than his father, he truly enjoyed getting dirty, but she had impressed upon him the point of being clean today, so here he was. She was happy with him, he was a rarity, he could only breed twice unless she used a Token of Fidelity on him, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to do that.

... Honestly, Aubrey wasn't sure what he was doing here. When he had first brought Lyra home, dog shows were pretty much the furthest thing from his mind. Actually, he hadn't really had a plan, but the point was he definitely hadn't intended for her to be a show animal. And... he probably still didn't, but the woman he'd talked to when he'd taken Joker to the breeding center had made him feel like he should at least check things out, get an idea of what was out there. And Lyra was pretty smart, just... not in a way that he could properly demonstrate. Yet. Maybe someday they'd come back here and he would feel more confident, know what he was doing. For now... He knew better than to expect anything. "Let's just have fun, huh girl?" he said. Lyra seemed happy to be here, anyway. Now there was just the matter of filling out the forms...
