"You're a pretty smart little thing, aren't you Snow?" Sevyrn asked the whelp, cooking her head towards the young one - when he looked back towards him she tossed him another small chunk of meat. She was impressed that he was catching on so well, especially given that he didn't seem to like her very much. It was a good step towards friendship!
Sevyrn continued to talk to him for a while longer, weaning down treat time until he was responding with no reward at all. It was around that time that Snow started veering so close to her that she could touch him if she reached out, but she didn't dare to - instead she elected to raise her closer hand off the ground and hold it palm faced up for him to sniff at.
Snow saw that as a perfect opportunity... he moved in towards the woman and bit her finger before backing up again. He sure seemed to think that he was funny...

Alright - they had the very first thing done and now they could work on something a little more complex, provided that Snow was willing to cooperate - there was only so much to be learned right now while he was young, so Sevyrn was in no rush to get through everything. He wouldn't learn any battle moves until after he was grown, lest he become adept at them and try to use them on her when it came time to break him... that would be trouble waiting to happen, Sevyrn didn't know how she was going to handle that in its easiest form, let alone if she had been dumb enough to train him to fight beforehand.
"Alright, Snow-" Sev began, "we have two more commands to work on and then we can go home. Stay there." Once saying that she held her hand up and started to step away from the young drake.

Snow... did not have a hard time staying where he was, he had absolutely no interest in following Sevyrn at all - he didn't really like her in the first place anyways, why would he? He was, however, interested in running away.
"No," Sevyrn said in a firm voice, the tone of which caught the sarane's attention. "No," she repeated, and then a third time when the young thing still wanted to wander off in to the depths of their little area. Once he finally stopped she offered him a treat as a reward for coming to a halt.
After that, Sevyrn got back to work on trying to teach him to stay where he was. His innate need to get away from Sev would prove as the biggest challenge, but with time he would surely come to listen to her - maybe even like her, if she was lucky... she hoped that she was lucky.

Stay and come were excellent commands to teach a creature the meaning of 'no' at the same time - no don't follow after me, no don't stay there. Sevyrn often used these tricks as an opportunity to set the foundation for what 'no' meant, even if her and whoever she was working with needed a bit more practice after all was said and done. Snow was making it way too easy, though - he wanted to run off, and after quelling him a few times it seemed like he just wanted to trick a treat out of her... yeah, the treats were stopping early when it came to being told not to do something if he was going to act like a little smart ass.
"Stay there," Sevyrn repeated to the drake for what felt like the thirtieth time. For what it was worth he was getting better at it, but they were going to have to wean the treats off soon.

Getting a creature to listen to you that didn't want to could be interesting... Snow did not respond well to Sevyn cutting him off of the snacks, so the weaning process was rather difficult. He straight up did not want to do what was expected of him even though he most definitely knew what was wanted of him. This drew the process out much longer than it needed to go on if Snow would just act like less of a dick.
They eventually got there, though it wore Sevyrn's seemingly endless patience a little bit thin by the end. After teaching him to come when called they were definitely going to be taking a breather before going at any more training.
"Alright... stay," Sevyrn directed one last time to test the whelp's abilities - and willingness to listen. She then turned away from him and walked off, not even repeating herself - when she turned around he was still there.
Okay... good. One less painful process to be worked through now.
