Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

She'd lost, but he knew it didn't matter. The Handler let the Hen into the arena and settled back once more as she sniffed around the arena, wondering what they're next opponent would be

Well, that was a loss, to be sure. It was disappointing, but not too surprising once Aster saw what they had been up against. And frankly, he imagined that was how the rest of the tournament was going to go; Axchel's training was neither as thorough nor as comprehensive as he would have liked in his own fighters.
There would be time to work on it, perhaps, for next time. But for the time being, it was best to temper his expectations.
At least she didn't seem too hurt by the loss. Maybe she was familiar with the concept. He wondered how it had gone for her, the last time she had had occasion to fight. At least she didn't fight him very hard when he brought her in, and she certainly didn't miss him when he went up to the stands.
The opponent this time was an unassuming Hen, with the small wings that marked her as a first tier...

Notes
- NPC cannot use Climb
- Axchel can use all moves and abilities she knows
- Axchel goes first due to higher Dexterity

The Hen snarled and stalked toward the offspring Hen with her jaws stretching wide the closer she got, charging forward and biting down if she could.

Aster frowned, wondering if it could really be that easy, but there didn't seem to be a handler with the brown hen. He understood, then, that she must have been one of the Pit's own creatures. Not likely to have too many tricks up its proverbial sleeve then, though his experiences with Havoc's gauntlet fights suggested there was still room for him to be surprised.
Still, that meant he had a chance. And the way the other hen rushed at Axchel had no real finesse. They could do this, if Axchel would listen to his commands.
"Gash," he called out to the dappled hen. For a moment, it didn't seem as though she would listen. One sharp gold eye glanced back to meet Aster's, as precious seconds slipped by and she did nothing... And then Axchel lunged forward, claws outstretched after all.
Faking him out, was she? That was something.
(Axchel uses Gash)

Calculations
Axchel uses Gash! Axchel's Dexterity of 5 + 8 rolled by staff = 13 vs. the 4 Dexterity of NPC Axchel will deal the most damage possible! Axchel's Strength of 5 + 4 damage of Gash = 9 damage 9 - 4 Resistance of NPC = 5 NPC's Stamina is now 0
Though the tier one tried, and pretty hard at that, the offspring was no match, and she went down quickly. The Pit staff rush out to heal their own.
Results Axchel gains 2 levels and Aster gains 5 pit prize points
