Kadin glared back at the draconic, still pissed off and not about to let and overgrown lizard convince him that he should be anything else. That had been LOUD. Sure, it had sort of seemed like she'd been holding back, too, but would it have killed her to warn more than just Glimmer before potentially rupturing some eardrums?
Speaking of Glimmer, his gaze did shift over to the other draconic who was shaking his head at him, looking upset. Once he saw that he had his attention, Glimmer made a shooing gesture with his wings, as if trying to get Kadin to focus his attention somewhere else. Kadin glared. Harder. Which caused Glimmer to let out a huffing breath, acting up how tired he was of dealing with the human and his antics.
"You could have told us that beforehand. If you're going to drag us here anyway, I'd appreciate some warning before potentially having my eardrums shattered or being blinded." Kadin stubbornly asserted. Glimmer huffed at him again before turning back to Viridi.
"It's not cruel if you ask for permission first. Or simply practice on plant material. Oh! Or even fish! There is that lovely river, after all." He advised, pleased at considering the possibilities if she were to try it on something other than just an echoing cavern. "I'd be curious to see if it's helpful in construction efforts. Breaking apart stone and wood and the like."

Viridi was unrepentant. "I didn't invite him," she said, gesturing to Seveth with a wave of her tail. She carefully did not comment on Kadin's presence; for all Glimmer's apparent annoyance with him, the man was Glimmer's companion, after all. But she also left the matter there, and paid him no more attention.
Listening to Glimmer's proposals, she shook her head. "The fish might be good," she said. "It might knock them out for a bit. But if you want to break things, that's a bit different... I can do it, but we'd really have to go outside for that one." She regretted this a little, but then it was his turn anyway. "Do you have anything that you can show me indoors first?"
"So it is a blind date," Seveth said, mostly to himself. Was this Draconic culture? He sighed, frowning slightly. "Not a very romantic bunch, are they?"

Glimmer nodded, understanding about Viridi's unfortunate follower. It would have been much easier if he hadn't come along with her, but as long as they stayed out of the way he didn't see a reason why the humans couldn't stick around. As long as they didn't continue to be RUDE like his seemed to take joy in being. He was also pleased that she was considering his suggestions, mind working in several directions to see if he could come up with more to add!
"Yes, those are probably bed to do outside. I do have several things I can show you. For this first one, you may want to shield your eyes a bit. It can be rather bright." He backed away a few steps and rose up into his back legs again, spreading his wings. Nothing happened, at first, but after a moment the entire cavern was suddenly lit up in a dazzling display of lights, centered around his body and wings. They shown and danced, shifting in their own unnatural light, ready to daze anyone who looked at them for too long. He ended it after giving it the proper display to prevent anyone from becoming completely dazzled, of course.
Kadin rubbed a hand down his face, shaking his head. Now, apparently, Glimmer was going to show off. He turned away from the draconic, not looking at them anymore mostly because he knew what was going to happen next.
"Whatever works for them." He commented dryly, wondering if he should just leave and let this whole strange group get on with whatever the hell they were doing on their own.

Seveth was paying attention now, so when Glimmer said what he did, Seveth hurriedly turned around and squeezed his eyes shut. There was a brief flash of red even through his closed eyelids, but he was sure it would have been worse if he hadn't heeded Glimmer's warning.
Viridi, who had seen more of the display itself, made an appreciative noise. "I've never seen it up close," she said. "Do you use this to stun prey?" Judging by their conversation, at least some Draconics did hunt, though Seveth had certainly never seen them at it himself. Viridi was talking some mighty big game for someone who got most of her meals from a vendor.
To Kadin, he said, "That's pretty open-minded of you. Why are you here anyway? I mean, you're not having a good time, right?" It was pretty apparent that he wasn't, so he probably wasn't along out of curiosity the way Seveth was.

"It can be used in that way." Glimmer acknowledged, gracefully lowering himself back to all fours and brushing invisible dust off his wings, trying to act both proud of his abilities, yet modest at the same time. It wasn't really working out that way. Mostly the pride was coming through. "Considering our reduced size, it tends to get its most use as a tactic to escape larger, unfriendly sorts. It's excellent for blinding an opponent to get a clean get away. Or, blinding them first to go on the offensive later. If you'd like, I could also demonstrate the breath ability of my breed, but it will require an injury." It went without saying that he would not be injuring himself just to show off a breath ability.
Kadin resisted the urge to sigh all of his troubles away. He was trying not to be an ass, even if he was only trying a little bit. "He wouldn't shut up about showing me more of the canyons and whatever it was he was doing here until I agreed to come with him." Was his explanation. It was pretty true. Glimmer had been constantly complaining about the lack of a human presence in the canyons, pointedly, one day when Kadin had finally shown up. He didn't seem to acknowledge how or why the human had been gone for years, either, deeming that unimportant. No, what was important was the draconic's own boredom and desire to walk around the lands. With the human. For some reason.

"I see," said Viridi. "That's clever." She spoke with some real feeling, possibly having never considered fully the ramifications of what it was like to be almost the same size as a human. But then, Seveth supposed she had the luxury, being the size that she was.
... He chose, wisely, not to think about how their... arrangement would work, if they chose to... arrange things. At least Viridi was the female here, he supposed.
He sighed wistfully at Kadin's comment. "Gods, I wish that were me. You wouldn't believe how long Viridi can go, cooped up by herself and working on things she won't even tell me about." He had wanted someone to show him how things worked around here, but he hadn't gotten that out of their bargain.
At the mention of Glimmer's breath though, Seveth piped up. "Hey, I've got an injury! I cut my hand a few days ago, how about that?"

"It quite it! Although I've been trying to find other uses for it, of course." Glimmer said proudly, preening at the praise, however sparse it was. He did so love the opportunity to show off. And since he'd been polite and let her go first, he felt no shame whatsoever until holding on to the stage until she decided to take it back again, if she ever did.
"You're welcome to him." Kadin said, genuinely offering. He was sure that Glimmer wouldn't mind, giving how much he seemed to like the other draconic's company. There were plenty of interesting and intelligent types in their canyon, too, but making the move wouldn't be too difficult for him.
"Oh, lovely!" Glimmer perked up, gesturing for the human to come over and join them since he obviously wasn't going to be the one getting up to go to the human! "Hold out your hand, let me see it. If it's too healed it might not make for a proper demonstration, but we can make an attempt."

Seveth grinned. "You're in luck! It's still pretty gross." He held up his left hand, which was heavily bandaged, and picked at the bandaging. It took him a little while to undo it, since he wasn't the one who had wrapped it, and San had done some pretty thorough work when he had taped it up. Seveth felt positively mummified, though he had to admit that it did hurt less now.
It was still pretty bad when he exposed it though. There was one deep gash along the palm, and the fingers were nicked all over with smaller cuts in various stages of healing. Not all of them were infected, though from the way San had admonished him in their shared journal, it had been a close thing.
"How did you even do that to yourself?" said Viridi, frowning at him.
"Aww, is that concern? Vi, I didn't know you cared!" Seveth said cheerfully.

Despite his general desire to not be involved in any of this, Kadin couldn't help but be a bit curious about watching this next bit. He'd seen Glimmer use his healing breath before, of course, but never up close. When he saw Linyü injury, however, he rethought his curiosity. Just a little bit. It WAS pretty damn gross.
Glimmer, on the other hand, was delighted. "Oh, that perfect! Barely healed at all, I can work with this." He seemed way too pleased to see an injured person. There was absolutely no semblance of concern in his demeanor at all as he positioned himself for best effect. "Now, this might feel a bit strange, but don't move!" He chirped cheerfully before taking in a deep breath. When he breathed out, a glimmer steam drifted down over Linyü's arm. Instead of just surrounding it, it seemed to fall directly onto his skin, sinking down into it. Slowly but surely, the skin started to knit back together until there was nothing left of the wound but fresh, pink skin.

Viridi made a disgusted noise at Seveth's comment, to which Seveth snickered without a trace of remorse. "You always ask why no one says nice things to you," Viridi pointed out. "This is why."
Seveth was about to offer a comeback, but then Glimmer breathed on him, and his face went through quite the journey after that. At first he was watching with undisguised curiosity, but then his brows furrowed and his mouth twisted, as if he were in pain or... enduring something. And then he screamed.
"Gah! Gods, that itches!" he said, shaking his hand back and forth. By this point most of the healing was already done, but when the whole thing was finished, he laid himself down on the ground and sighed. Holding up his hand, he examined it, and surreptitiously Viridi did too. "Huh. You're right. The whole thing's healed now. No scars, even." Or at least, not any new ones, anyway.

Glimmer did react to, uh. Linyü's reaction to the healing. He'd witnessed many different expressions when he'd healed creatures in the past, but screaming was typically one reserved for before the healing, not after it. He looked down at where the human had decided to lay himself on the floor, a bit baffled and somewhat concerned for his sanity. "Yes. You're quite welcome. Although, I must say, that was... some reaction."
Kadin snorted at that, crossing his arms and looking amused at the whole thing. "I guess you surprised him, but at least you warned him." He said dryly, vaguely wondering how much longer they needed to wait before the draconic decided if they were compatible or not.
"Indeed." Glimmer said back, equally dryly, before looking curiously over to Viridi, hoping for a favorable reaction to his feat of healing. Surely she would find that impressive, yes? He had practiced quite a lot in order to be up to the level he was today.
