Questing
Quests are an advanced roleplaying area where characters can visit the Quest Board to choose a prompt. Once you've chosen a prompt, you can start a thread and tell a story about what happens next. When you're done, come back to the quest board and collect your rewards!
When you finish the quest (by making the required number of posts), you will be awarded with Quest Points (QP) to spend at the Questing Inquisitor. Some quests also award a special prize in addition to the QP. Generally, quests that are more difficult have better rewards.
Usually, questing is a solo activity, but two or more characters can collaborate on quests by using the same thread if they want. Each character must make the full post requirement in order to succeed. For example: Two characters doing a quest with a post requirement of 5 will each have to make 5 posts (10 between them) to finish the quest. Everyone will receive the rewards according to how many times they've completed that quest.
The Quest Board
The quest board clearly outlines how to complete each quest and what is expected of you. Here's the format for quest listings and what they mean.
Quest #01
There is a note on the quest board, scribbled in desperate strokes of black ink. Better check out what it says!
"My garden is overrun with pests again, could you run them out of the garden for me? Catch them, run them off, fight them, I just don't want them back!"
The Quest
Chase the pests (a horde of unusually large caterpillars) out of the garden!
Post Requirement: 5
Prizes
First Completion: 1 QP and a prize winning vegetable from the garden
2+ Completions: another prize winning vegetable from the garden
^ This is the number of the quest, which you must put in the title of your thread.

^ This section is an in-character description of the quest, and it may include information about the quest board itself, the NPC making the request, or other circumstances surrounding the start of the quest.

Chase the pests (a horde of unusually large caterpillars) out of the garden!
^ This section lets you know (out of character) what you need to accomplish to finish the quest. Make sure that you actually complete the quest in character, even if your character might not know what they're in for when they get started!
Post Requirement: 5
^ This section is straightforward, it simply lets you know how many posts you must make to succeed. You can make more if you wish, but you must make at least the minimum to be successful.

2+ Completions: another prize winning vegetable from the garden
^ This section lets you know what you get for completing the quests. Note that sometimes rewards are repeatable, and you can do the same quest again to get another reward. Though you have to write out a whole new story each time. Some quests may be repeated infinitely for new rewards, while others stop giving rewards after a certain number of repeats.
Rules for Quests
- When starting your thread, include the number of the quest you are working on in your title.
- Make a note at the bottom of your first post indicating how many times you’ve completed that particular quest.
- For staff reference, clearly number your posts in the thread, and when you've finished a quest, edit the title of your thread to include the word 'done'.
- You may do quests in any order, but you may only have one active quest at a time. You must finish a quest in order to start a new one.
- Posts must be on topic in order to be successful. You're welcome to be as creative as you want, but stay within the scope of the prompt.
- Most quests are posted by NPCs. You're welcome to describe your interaction with the NPC and their reactions if you want, but keep the majority of your post content focused on your character and their actions.
- If the quest listing includes any special rules or requirements, you must follow them in order to be successful.
