Another day, another venture in to town - and as much as Sevyrn hated what she had seen on the quest board, she knew that she had the perfect kitten to deal with it. It was another bug infested garden... something she herself was pretty used to, being an avid gardener. It was also similar to something she had dealt with before, something that her little malii kitten Ramses had a blast with. This time it was Turner in need of help and she recognized the name - that was the guy who ran Nature's Bounty, yeah? "How do you feel about another bug hunt?" Sevyrn asked the kitten from inside of her doorway, having just gotten home from her last trip in to town. Ramses mewed in return, trying to weave between her legs in a fashion very typical of a kitten. Yeah, he could probably use an outlet for his energy after being stuck inside all winter. 1

Sevyn picked the malii up in to her arms and made her way back outside. Ramses was surprisingly calm despite the busy world around them - that made her wonder what he had been up to while she had been out. Was he harassing Elisa again? At leas the harachiu had a safe space to be away from him...
But for now, at least, he was well behaved. He rested rather calmly in her arms the entire walk down to the store, peering at the wide world around his tiny little life and mewing at Sevyrn here and there. As they reached the store, Sevyrn knocked on the door.
"I hear you need a bit of a hand with your berry trees," Sevyrn said once she had greeted the shop keeper. At this point she put Ramses down on the ground, and innately wandered towards said trees. Yeah... he was going to have fun with this one.

Sevyrn got the jist of what was going on, and was ready to get to work. Ramses was already trying to catch various little bugs and yeah - Turner was right, this tree seemed to be over run. The berries looked so delicious, too - didn't want those to get wasted. She had access to some organic pesticides that hopefully wouldn't damage the tree, but she would really rather not get to that point if at all possible...
For the first little while, Sevyrn checked out the damage and tried to see if she could find the source of where all these bugs were coming from. If there was something far enough away from the berries, she could probably afford to simply oust their nest from the premises. No more bugs if their home gets dealt with, yeah? In the meantime, Ramses was continuing to make a really good snack out of every critter that he could.

She didn't have to get rid of every bug, luckily - that would have been impossible. Besides, as much as she hated it, some bugs were good for the ecosystem and growth of the plants themselves. Where did all of these come from, anyways? It wasn't often that anyone saw an infestation like this...
She did what she could, though. The majority of the bugs were caterpillar like, and as much as she hated touching them she figured it would be smart to pop some in a jar to bring back home. They'd make good food for some of her creatures, and no one had said that she needed to kill them. They just needed to be dealt with, and as soon as possible. Once she had a couple jars full and put away safe in her backpack, it was time to deal with the rest of these annoying little creatures.

In the end, she did find where they were coming from - and thanks to some natural pesticides she dealt with their point of origin. Ramses had feasted until he was so full all he could to was plop over, and Sevyrn even helped Turner deal with some of the damage before she left at the end of the day. So many ruined berries, leaves and even sprouting branches were lost to the caterpillar horde... The thought alone was enough to make Sevyrn cringe, knowing just how terrible something like this was to a gardener. The fact that these trees were prize winners just made that all the worse.
"I'm glad that I could help," Sevyrn said as she scooped Ramses back up in her arms, ready to head back to her home after a job well done. The trees were (mostly) safe again, and Turner seemed to be pleased with that. The poor guy definitely did need a hand with a job like this.
