This thread is for 'mini' suggestions that aren't significant or pressing enough to warrant their own threads, as well as a place for users to point out outdated or missing information floating around.
Please be as clear as possible with your suggestion and include the link to the thread in question.

If staff thinks your suggestion warrants its own thread and discussion, we will let you know so you can make one.

The Vacera are missing stats. They've never been assigned any, aside from being PL4, as noted here on Tapa: www.tapatalk.com/groups/hxrv2/special-set-05-t38.html (last post) If I may suggest a couple of moves they could have ('cause I actually made them during a contest!); Deceptive Lure - they lure prey using their glowy antenna bobbers, and Poison Sting - 'cause they have a stinging barb at the end of their tail, like a stingray.

Not sure if this is the right place for it, but the Wishing Well doesn't have May's items yet, even though May is almost over.

Suggestion regarding date usage: Could we please either do date formats in dd-mm-yy or just forgo the numeric month in favour of a written month? Example: "31.02.21" or "31st Feb".
The american date system keeps tripping my brain and it's confusing which way what is written if both day and month are in decimals of 12 or less ("04.02" can be read as both "4th Feb" and "2nd April", for example).

Xentus; we'll get our stats person on it!
Nerius; we are going to be fixing this
Darky; Silv and I have been talking about this because she had the same problem a while back and went through everywhere and changed it to written months. Where is it that's causing the issue?

It's mostly an issue with some deadlines for contests, tournaments and the like: link, link, link, link
So it's not everywhere, but there is some inconsistency, and it can be especially problematic with deadlines.

Currently the wording/effect of the "Sway of the Incubi" spell gives extra "loyalty" if the caster and target are opposite genders. Not everyone is straight, Karen. Suggesting that it be changed to whether the target is attracted to the caster's gender.
The current description is:
Sway of the Incubi Cost: 16 chaos MP Description: The caster can sway the target to "follow" them; and in the process, convince them not to attack. This does not allow the caster "control" over the target, but does greatly effect the outcome of battle or.. everyday life. Effect: The target receives +5 loyalty to the caster, thusly not attacking the caster unless provoked further. If the target is of the opposite gender from the caster, the loyalty gain is +10 (instead of +5). This effect ends in two turns, or in ten minutes. It also will end if the target gets damaged by the caster. And instead be changed to something like: Sway of the Incubi Cost: 16 chaos MP Description: The caster can sway the target to "follow" them; and in the process, convince them not to attack. This does not allow the caster "control" over the target, but does greatly effect the outcome of battle or.. everyday life. Effect: The target receives +5 loyalty to the caster, thusly not attacking the caster unless provoked further. If the target is attracted to the caster's gender, the loyalty gain is +10 (instead of +5). This effect ends in two turns, or in ten minutes. It also will end if the target gets damaged by the caster.
In the stat page, grey and brown vulticus stats incorrectly refer to the ability "Plains-Runner" as "Plains-Drifter".

A couple of Trick's I'd love to see. Not really all that useful, but fun for us that like to train random little things. <3
Tug of War Description: The pet holds a toy in it's mouth or some other prehensile or sticky body part and tries to keep you from taking it back- usually by tugging and not letting go! Of course it may be a good idea to also train something to counteract this (such as Drop or No) to be able to end the game- or the pet may be inclined to play until it gets bored... Training Points: 1 Requires: Hold
Keep Away Description: The pet will try to keep others away from an object that it is holding by moving away or by blocking others with its body. Good for having a pet play with your other pets perhaps? This isn't really viable in hostile situations... Training Points: 2 Requires: Hold
Yeet Description: The creature is trained to toss away an object with a flick (of the head, hand, or other body part holding the object) a short distance away. The force isn't usually enough to do any real harm to others- but be careful where you chose to play and what with or you might wind up with a broken window... Training Points: 1 Requires: Hold
Soothing Presence Description: A creature is trained to perform a soothing action (such as purring in some cases, or cooing, or something of that nature) and either lay on or near a distressed owner or press against a distressed owner. While this has no statistical effect, it may help someone with anxiety concerns calm down in certain situations. Training Points: 5

Stamina: 5 Strength: 5 Resistance: 9 Dexterity: 3 Mentality: 3 Special Abilities: Bloodthirsty, Nightvision Moves: Tail Slap, Ebil Nom, Crystalline Power The bloodstone lamadidron seems to have been granted a wimpy tail. I think it should be updated to having tail strike. Maybe get another ability that's shadow related? Also needs baby and juvie stats since someone created their images for the lodge. Can we add multiple suggestions to one post? These two orbaru that were prizes for the strength competition contest aren't available in the contest hall under legacy orbaru. Could they be?

With the update of Sentient Pets at the New's thread, I was reading at the Pets as Characters area, and noticed at the section of Language Notes that the old information of Speak is still in it, instead of the modified one where they can learn speak as a skill for spoken languages.

There are currently two spells named Silence (which I think could bear having both their names tweaked, since there's already a move called Silence as well), with different elements and MP costs. One is under Wind and the other is under Hollow

With the release of the Swooper stage of the Elemental Golems v2, it seems the Stalker stage got a Power Level update (from PL3 to PL5), but this isn't reflected in the listed stats nor was it part of the news update; Stat page. Screen grab of probable Stalker stats (also if their stats are getting updated, consider giving them some form of elemental resistances/immunity? c: )

Darky - Staff will be making an effort to post dates in the "Month XX" format (ie Aug 12) instead of 8-12 or 12-8. Nerius - Sway of the Incubi is a vague and confusing spell in general, so we've changed it to this: Sway of the Incubi Cost: 16 chaos MP Description: The caster can sway the target to "follow" them; and in the process, convince them not to attack. This does not allow the caster "control" over the target, but does greatly effect the outcome of battle - or everyday life. Effect: The target cannot attack the caster, and is more receptive to requests made by the caster. The effect ends after two turns in combat, or ten minutes outside of combat. The effect also ends if the caster directly attacks the target. Your level of attraction to the caster and willingness to follow them is left open for flavor reasons, as this is obviously a very individual kind of thing. The plains-runner typo has been fixed. Renathan - We'll be adding a few new tricks soon, including these ones (or some variation of them). Skylos - The Tail Strike typo was corrected. The Bloodstone already has some shadow moves/abilities, and has the same number of moves and abilities as other VSC breeds, so we will not be adding any more. Doe and Stag Orbaru have been added to the Legacy Orbaru list. That was just a typo! Twilight-Claw - Fixed! I'll be revamping the Pets as Characters list to better suit the new tutorial style guide, but for now, the information about learning languages is changed. Noa - The wind spell has been renamed to 'Quiet' and the hollow one to 'Hush' to make them distinguishable. Xentus - Oop we made a pretty big copy-paste error there, didn't we? The Stalkers have been bumped to PL 5 - staff thought that with the effort it takes to get them, and how strong the swoopers were, that PL 5 was more appropriate. We will not be adding any defensive abilities to the Golems, however, since even though it makes sense thematically, they already have a pretty strong set of defensive abilities to keep them safe. :)

Silver - I don't know if this is enough to matter, but there is also already trick called 'Quiet' (which also used to be named Silence, and had to be renamed to differentiate it from the spell :'D)

Noa - Good catch, thanks! I always forget to check the tricks list. The trick is now 'Be Quiet'.
