By default, you may know as many MP worth of spells as you have MP to spend. If you'd like to learn additional spells, you may do so by spending one sp per MP the spell costs. Working together, this gives the caster the ability "Danger Sense". Max Ranks: 1 Cost per Rank: 5 sp Arc Requires familiarity. Any spell that requires the caster to "touch" something can be performed by the familiar. The caster still is the one casting the spell, but the spell is channeled through the familiar instead. Example; The caster casts "candle-flame," and the flame comes from the familiar's paws. Max Ranks: 1 Cost per Rank: 8 sp Restore Familiar Requires familiarity. By spending an hour with your familiar, you may restore some of its Familiar Points. This skill can be used only once per day. One rank in this skill gives a familiar 50% off its FP back. For every time this skill is taken, the caster's familiar gains a 10% chance to dodge any attack. Max Ranks: 5 Cost per Rank: 4 sp Empower Familiar Requires familiarity. For every time this skill is taken, the caster's familiar takes 1 less damage from any attack. It also does one less damage with every attack it performs. Max Ranks: 5 Cost per Rank: 4 sp Imbue Familiar Requires familiarity. For every time this skill is taken, the caster permanently looses 1 MP. This loss in MP cannot take the caster's total MP to less than 1. When this skill is taken, the caster's familiar permanently gains 1 MP of that element. After which time, the familiar now can cast non-familiar specific spells of the appropriate element. For example, if the caster permanently looses 1 Fire MP, the familiar can now cast (up to 1 Fire MP worth of) Fire spells. Max Ranks: 10 Cost per Rank: 10 sp Take Requires familiarity. For every point placed in this skill, your familiar permanently looses 1 FP, and you gain one Hollow MP. The MP gained will always be "hollow", and can never be used to cast element-specific spells. You cannot take this skill to lower a familiar's FP to be less than 1. Max Ranks: 10 Cost per Rank: 3 sp Give Requires familiarity. For every point placed in this skill, you permanently loose 1 MP, and your familiar gains 1 FP. You cannot take this skill to lower your MP to be less than 1. Max Ranks: 10 Cost per Rank: 3 sp

MarksmanshipYou will want to read (in full) the Player Combat System before assigning any skill points to your marksmanship skill hubs (or skills). Keep in mind that you may have no more than 200 skill ranks in combat and/or marksmanship combined; with a max cap of 140 skill ranks in either one. Marksmanship Marksmanship is the skill that allows one to effectively use all manner of ranged weapons, specifically projectiles; like bows, guns, and crossbows. Gives 10 CP in the 'Marksmanship' Expertise. Max Ranks: 100 Cost per Rank: 3 sp Hawkeye You're trained to see better at long distances from a lot of practice with a long range weapon. You gain +1 to dexterity (attacking only) when using any Marksmanship Expertise. Max Ranks: 2 Cost per Rank: 6 sp Viper Deadly as a viper you are an expert when attacking with your ranged weapon! You've trained your shot so well that you may roll an extra die to see if you succeed in your attack (when attacking) with any Marksmanship Expertise. Max Ranks: 2 Cost per Rank: 6 sp Wasp Nimble as a wasp with a stinger, you are quick with a ranged weapon in hand. You simply have a better intuition and you're "one" with your weapon. You are so well trained, that you may roll an extra die to see if you succeed in your defense (when defending) with any Marksmanship Expertise. Max Ranks: 2 Cost per Rank: 6 sp Mounted Archery Allows you to use most marksmanship expertises while mounted, and for you to stay mounted while your mount attacks. Every successful attack while mounted starts at a 50% chance to miss. Each Skill rank reduces this chance by a cumulative 10%, with 5 ranks reducing this chance to 0. Note: You must have the proper riding skill to ride the creature, and it needs to be trained how to carry and fight with you. Max Ranks: 5 Cost per Rank: 3 sp

Tinkering
Tinkering is a wonderful skill for dealing with computers, building electronics, engineering things - and working with robotic pets. The best tinkers have a broader skill range, which sometimes includes tinkering on non-metal things.
Mechanical Bond You work with mechanical creatures very well! Gives all your "robotic creatures" +1 loyalty, if they can gain loyalty, that is. Max Ranks: 3 Cost per Rank: 2 sp
Basic Software Allows you to understand and work with computer's software, the programming. The more skill ranks, the more proficient you are with it - and can even re-program computers (or some robots). Max Ranks: 4 Cost per Rank: 1 sp
Basic Hardware Allows you to understand and work with computer's hardware, the physical stuff. The more skill ranks, the more proficient you are with it - and can even repair or alter computers (or some robots). Max Ranks: 4 Cost per Rank: 1 sp
Electrician You understand how electricity flows, and how wires, switches, and all of the other components of generating and carrying electricity work. It's a fundamental skill for learning other, more advanced things. Max Ranks: 1 Cost per Rank: 2 sp
Basic Mechanics You understand how machines work, and how they move. An essential skill in working with vehicles, and many kinds of robots. Max Ranks: 4 Cost per Rank: 1 sp
Basic Pyrotechnics You understand the principles behind adding all consuming fire into your works. Sparks shooters and outright flamethrowers, you got this! Flamethrowers on the back of that Scuttle? You bet. Timed blasts of fire from your newest creation? Oh yes... Max Ranks: 1 Cost per Rank: 4 sp
Clockworks Requires 2 ranks in Basic Mechanics. You have such a great understanding of mechanics that you know how to make entire contraptions of gears, made with wood, light metals, and other natural materials. Max Ranks: 4 Cost per Rank: 5 sp
Operate XXX Allows you to learn how to operate a different kind of machine per rank. All complex machines (other than creatures who 'work' on their own) require this skill to operate properly. Don't know how to use your Trod as an exosuit? Better take a skill in it and learn how. Max Ranks: 1 (per machine) Cost per Rank: 3 sp
Open Lock Open Sesame! You have the magic touch when it comes to opening locks. At the first rank, you can use locksmith’s tools to open most locks. At the fifth rank, you could practically bobby pin your way into a bank vault, as long as it isn’t a magic door. Max Ranks: 5 Cost per Rank: 3 sp
Biotech You understand the intricacies of getting your robots or other mechanical devices to act similarly to biological processes or beings. At one skill rank, you are beginning to learn the processes involved in attempts to use life as an inspiration for mechanical pursuits. At Rank 2, you understand how to work on things like incubation tanks. At Rank 4, you understand the basics of replacing biological serums with tinkered replacements. At Rank 6, you understand things like nanites and how they can be used in biological creatures. At Rank 8, you understand how to create machines that imitate biological functions (such as synthetic 'leaves' that can do photosynthesis). Those with 10 Ranks in Biotech are rumored to be able to make robots with the same biology-imitating complex nature as Kapper's famed Living Liquid Steels (though you can't actually make LLS, Kapper keeps his schematics close to his chest, so to speak). Max Ranks: 10 Cost per Rank: 2 sp
