Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

Dustdevil was apparently feeling triumphant; he strode into the Pit for their next fight with his head held high, a duller mirror image of Avander on the last occasion Noa had to accompany the Wiurn to his own scheduled battles. Noa was a little amused, though not necessarily surprised; Dustdevil had, after all, bested a third tier drake in their last round. Granted, it wasn't a terribly prepared third tier drake, but he doubted that registered in the mind of a drake like Dustdevil.
"Not used to winning, are you?" he said, half taunting. Dustdevil snorted at the sound of his voice, and regarded him with one sharp gold eye.
They were the first ones here, as usual, and standing around in the sand had never been one of Noa's favored pastimes. As soon as he was sure that Dustdevil wasn't going to cause any fuss, Noa excused himself to the stands.

Yang wasn't at her Drakes side when he was lead in; at the moment the pit was allowed entry she took to the stands, noting the vast empty seats save for the one other who looked to just be entering the stands themselves; no doubt the opposing Drakes master. From opposing doors, her blue-and-gold shimmering bab burst through, a fit of snarling hisses and a snapping maw. There was no doubt he'd caught the scent of the other Drake from behind the wooden doors, and as with his previous bouts, went from 0 to 100 in feral aggression.
As Yang went up the stairs and looked on to the pit, she noted the browns posture; the calm gaze, and even more importantly, a glint of accessory. This was another trained and mastered beast, a drake that had the time given to break them and own them. Yang watched on in discontent, hands tucked into her coat pockets where they fiddled and clenched, Keel an obvious mess of lashing limbs and animal aggression.

Notes
- Dustdevil can use all moves and abilities he knows
- Keel cannot use Climb or Swim and will be controlled by staff
- Dustdevil goes first due to higher Dexterity

Noa's brows arched up when he saw the other drake come in. This was clearly not a run of the mill brown...But judging by its behavior, it was no more broken than any of the others that Dustdevil had fought so far. A bit of a waste, but then not everyone had the time or the desire to commit to the work of training these beasts, and considering they had plenty of fighting spirit even without it...
Well, it worked out for Noa - and for Dustdevil too, really. The old brown was starting to get a real taste for being a winner. He stared down the other drake, not as animated but clearly also starting to tense, and hissed a warning at the thrashing opponent.
Noa gave Dustdevil the command to attack, and Dustdevil lashed out at his opponent with his claws, ready to tear the other drake apart.
(Dustdevil uses Rend)

There was hardly a moment with the two drakes sharing the same pit-space, before they were leaping to action, claws and teeth and lashing tails and flared wings.
Yang managed to foster a smidge of confidence with her Drake and his luck in this fight; maybe due to his teir 2 status or mixed heritage, she felt that the odds were, at most, 50/50. This brown didn't have the heavy intimidating factor as a previous combatant had, nor did he look above a teir 1, and with Keel filled with aggressive rage that went un-dampened, Yang was sure enough to shout her own encouragement from the stands, "C'mon Keel!"
Her shout was far from a call-to-action with any kind of specific command of attack, but to shout any kind of encouragement felt much better than to simply stand, stare, and wait for the potential, inevitable, demise.

Calculations
Dustdevil uses Rend! Dustdevil's Dexterity of 5 + 2 rolled by staff = 7 vs. the 4 Dexterity of Keel Dustdevil will deal the most damage possible! Dustdevil's Strength of 7 + 6 damage of Rend = 13 13 - 5 Resistance of Keel = 8 damage Keel's Stamina is now 0
As the tier two lunged forward to attack, the Brown takes him down easily before the Pit crew rush out to tend to him.
Results Dustdevil gains 2 levels and Noa gains 5 pit prize points Keel gains 1 level and Yang gains 3 pit prize points
