  Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally. |

No one had shown up for the last fight either. That made... what, two in a row now? This was starting to become a trend. Maybe word had gotten out about what Avander was like in a fight, and their opponents had started to just... opt out. It was a little unfortunate, but a win was a win, Noa supposed; and the points were very nice, even if combat experience was a little more valuable.
Couldn't have everything, he supposed. And the idea that his foes were too scared to face him was doing wonders for Avander's ego, which was kind of funny, even if it was also a little inconvenient sometimes.
"I wonder if anyone will even show up this time," said Noa, leaning against Avander's side with his shoulder, arms crossed over his chest. "I'm not going to bother taking the stairs this time if we're just going to go back out again."

- Avander cannot use Stalk
- NPC cannot use Frost Walk
- Avander goes first due to having higher Dexterity

What was that? One of those... new species from that new lab? Noa didn't know, and seeing the familiar face of the Pit employee handler, he figured this one probably wasn't that much of a challenge. It wasn't small, exactly, but it wasn't Avander's equal in size either, by any means.
Noa sighed. "Looks like I'll have to take the stairs after all," he said. The one time he stayed down here to avoid the trouble, the opponent was something that was required to show... Figures.
At least the decision on what to do wasn't difficult. There was no point in a show of excessive power or force. A sting of the tail ought to do enough for this one. "Sting," Noa said, as casually as anything, and Avander lashed his tail, aiming for the opponent without any preamble, just as soon as Noa was safely in the stands and giving out orders in his usual manner.

The Repointe wasn't up for this, but there wasn't much it could do as it attempted to lash out at the Wiurn as best as it could!

Calculations
Avander uses Poison Sting!
Avander's Dexterity of 8 + 9 rolled by staff = 17 vs. the 6 Dexterity of NPC
Avander will deal the most damage possible!
Avander's Strength of 10 + 2 damage of Poison Sting = 12
12 - 3 Resistance of NPC = 9 damage
NPC's Stamina is now -6
While it tried, the Repointe wasn't a match for the poison now coursing through it's veins. The Pit crew rush out to tend to their own.
Results
Avander gains 2 levels and Noa gains 5 pit prize points
