Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

As expected, Sushi utterly lost that last battle. He didn't get to move a muscle before he was engulfed in flames and went down in a singed heap. Thankfully, it wasn't anything the pit staff couldn't handle, and they were back at it again for the next match. Sushi seemed a little more cautious going into the Pit itself, but once he burst through the gates and into the sandy pit and realized it was empty, he roared defiantly and stalked around, tail swishing behind him just above the ground. His wings furled tightly at his sides, his head held high, fangs snapping at the air.
Ashe rolled his eyes at the display. So far, Sushi didn't have the power or the wits to live up to his current demeanor, and Ashe was doubting he would be able to win now. He just wondered if this would be another well trained drake, or if he would be up against one like Sushi, an untamed brown.

Nerius had expected their last match to have gone south after the other brown took flight, but Belial hadn't let something a minor as flight get in the way of spilling the other drake's blood, and despite his own injuries, had managed to take down his flying foe. He was a scrappy thing, even injured or outmatched he'd still fight with a vicious determination. It wasn't enough to win against skill and training, but Nerius liked the drake's spirit, which was why he'd kept the wild brown as long as he had. He knew it wasn't uncommon for people to switch out their fodder browns, but he'd had Belial from the start.
Though he'd arrived on schedule, Nerius realized their opponents had already arrived. A man he didn't recognize was the handler, and yet another brown; unbroken he'd guess by the behavior. Belial went instantly hostile when released into the arena, snarling at the other drake, flaring his wings in an attempt to look bigger.

With no commands to focus on giving, Nerius observed the other brown. No jewelry or ribbon, wild behavior, and, hm, he couldn't quite see if the beast was scarred or not from where he was. Probably unbroken, but he couldn't tell if it was new fodder, or a long time veteran like Belial. That was all he could tell from a glance, but at least Belial didn't look like he'd be outclassed, and the lack of bracelet would help. Nerius just hoped their foe wouldn't take flight again.
Belial's attention was also on the other drake, but where Nerius as analytical, he was just savage aggression. His posturing didn't last long, it was more a response to the other drake's display. After years of experience, Belial tended to go right in for the attack, and things were no different this time. The brown was already in motion, bounding toward the other drake, fangs bared.

Like the other, Sushi also had years of experience. Perhaps unlike the other, he hadn't honed his nearly as much. He was still blundering and making rookie mistakes. Perhaps because his wins were sheer luck and nothing else. In the wild, Sushi wouldn't have made it, but here, where the Pit staff could revive him if he got brought down - here, he was still alive and kicking. For the duration of the tournament, at least. But to his credit, he did give it his all each time, throwing himself entirely into his moves. His instinct just wasn't the best.
To Ashe's experienced eye, this brown seemed to be another untamed as well. Two wild browns, this should be interesting. A close mat- Ashe frowned, catching a glint on the other sarane. That looked like a speed charm on him. Oh well, Sushi was used to losing, right? If the other was faster, and got in an attack first... It would all be over.

Calculations
Belial uses Gash! Belial's 5 dex + rolled 7 = 12 v Sushi's 5 dex - Belial will do the most damage possible! Belial's strength of 7 + gash's 4 damage = 11 damage 11 damage - 5 resistance = 6 damage Sushi's stamina is now 1!
Sushi uses Gash! Sushi's 5 dex + rolled 10 = 15 v Belial's 5 dex - Sushi will do the most damage possible! Sushi's strength of 7 + gash's 4 damage = 11 damage 11 damage - 5 resistance = 6 damage Sushi's stamina is now 1!

Despite his show of fangs, it wasn't his teeth with which Belial chose to attack, but his claws. It was a solid hit, and his claws tore deep gashes into the other brown. It wasn't quite enough to take down his foe though, and the other drake struck back, his own claws ripping into Belial before he could pull away. His brown bellowed in pain and rage as he staggered away from the other brown's claws, not down yet either.
They were both mangled and bleeding, clearly on their last legs, but unwilling to back down. Unbroken drake fights at their... finest? Nerius wasn't sure that was the right word for it, but they were sure.. something. He hoped Belial could pull out a win here, but you never knew with these kinds of fights. He'd find out soon enough, Belial was moving at the other brown again, about to make his move. [Belial does something]

Sushi landed a solid hit. Ashe was a little impressed at the spray of blood he was able to achieve, but also a little disappointed that he hadn't been able to finish the job. They were both still standing after they crashed into each other, a mass of claws and fangs and blood. They separates, sides heaving, blood dripping. Ashe watched as Sushi adjusted himself and he could imagine the rage going through the drake right now. Bred and born for battle, he would be angered at the pain inflicted by another drake sarane. He would be boiling and eager to exact revenge.
Ashe was correct in his thinking; Sushi was eager and desperate to sink that other drake, even if it was the last thing he would do before he too collapsed. As long as he didn't let that drake take HIM out first. He readied himself for another attack and launched, determination flashing in his eyes.

Calculations
Belial uses Bite! Belial's Dexterity of 5 + 9 rolled by staff = 14 vs. the 4 Dexterity of Sushi Belial will deal the most damage possible! Belial's Strength of 7 + 3 damage of Bite = 10 10 - 5 Resistance of Sushi = 5 damage Sushi's Stamina is now -4
Putting up a decent fight, the slower Brown doesn't quite make it. The Pit crew splits into two teams to tend to the Browns.
Results Belial gains 2 levels and Nerius gains 5 pit prize points Sushi gains 1 level and Ashe gains 3 pit prize points
