The tutorial says it's 2 weeks from the user's last post, not the NPC's, so I think it's been long enough since my last trip.
Nerius had been to the shop somewhat recently, well, if one counted visiting with a robotic body. The TROD had done its job, but today he actually had the time to visit himself. The shop was just as eclectic as usual, and he could sense the pulsing of magic even before he entered the door. There were crystals in stock again, he could feel the magic radiating from them, thrumming with almost unnatural regularity. Order, he suspected, though didn't have a ton of experience with that type of magic.
Ah, there they were. It didn't take him long to find the crystals, the magical aura pulled like a beacon. If it hadn't, it might have taken a while to hunt through the shop. One day he really ought to take a better look around for what else the shop offered, but today he was focused on the crystal.
He'd had a decent harvest from his garden, maybe that would make for a decent offer. Nerius set the fruit and fungus onto the counter, before asking, "I'm interested in an order crystal, would you be interested in these?"
Yet again, the trader didn't speak, but from his past visits to the shop, Nerius was expecting that. He appeared to find the trade acceptable, that was the important part, and Nerius pushed the produce over to the trader, careful not to let the round pomme roll around. It would be worth less if it rolled off the counter, and bounced off the floor and got damaged, he expected. It stayed safely on the counter though, and Nerius set the other, less rolley produce around the fruit to make sure it didn't roll anywhere.
Then there was nothing to do but wait for the trade to be completed. The order crystal would be the forth non-remnant crystal to be in his possession, at current, and none of them matched. Not exactly constructive to creating a node, but it couldn't be helped, and mismatched crystals were far preferable to no crystals at all.

Renathan: Reminds me of those spiders that wave limbs around with little fan-like parts on them that are multi-colored/patterned.
