Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

The brown did go, and go straight into his claws. Scho made short work of bringing the brown to the ground, and making sure it stayed there until the humans swarm them. He'll go into his gate nearly obeidently, as his stomach rumbles something awful and eating his own kind wasn't yet beneath the drake but...he wasn't a completely wild animal. The food brought to him tonight had a big meaty bone holding it all in one piece still, and the drake enjoyed his meal, snatching up the bone and carrying it to the other end of the pen to enjoy it in 'privacy'. The bone cracked in his teeth with a satisfying snapping sound. Nom nom. The next round came not too long after. He was ready for stretching his legs by now, prowling around the pen like a caged tiger, prepared for the opening of the gate and the literal running out. Because he wanted to. -present

Belial had actually managed to win his last match. It had been another unbroken brown, but that was about all he could be expected to defeat. It was something, given his overall mediocre success, but Nerius hadn't entered an unbroken brown expecting to win big.
He arrived at the Pit in a timely enough fashion, though it seemed their foes had arrived first. Or, at least, there was a drake in the sands already, though Nerius couldn't pick out the owner from the onlookers. They had to be somewhere, the Pit didn't let battles happen without a handler, or at least a TROD stand-in.
Nerius didn't look for long though, a brown, but with an impressive set of horns. He'd encountered two such drakes the last time he'd entered Schism in a tournament, though only one had been broken. This drake, judging by his behavior, was also unbroken, and Nerius wondered if it was the same one. There couldn't be that many tier three browns floating around.
Belial was released into the sands shortly, and the drake snarled at the sight of his foe. His movements were wary and stiff, instinctively recognizing a higher tier drake, though he wasn't about to back down from a fight.

Notes
- Schródinger cannot use Climb and will be controlled by staff
- Belial cannot use Climb and will be controlled by staff
- Schródinger's Commanding Presence brings Belial's Dexterity down to 4
- Schródinger goes first due to having higher Dexterity

When the other came into the ring, another motley brown who had nothing more then a gleaming bangle on its leg to show that it felt a bit quicker then another, Scho just stood there, his wings partially outstretched, overbearing. Snarl at me? SNARL AT ME?! He towers over the other drake, taking a bit of pride in its stiffer movements. THats right, you. I am bigger, I am stronger, and I am going to make you regret snarling at me. His tail whips around behind him, as he opens his wings and roars his presence. Some would flee in terror, but this drake wasn't that squeamish. Granted, it would make it angrier, and that would make it stupider. Stupider makes stupid mistakes and he'd go in fro the kill then. Yeah, this was his 'head game'. Antlers! He heard subtle pops in his feetl and joints as he crouched, and sprang into action, having ot reach havle the stadium to get ot his opponent. -action

The longhorn's reaction to Belial's snarl had opposite the intended effect. The horns were impressive, sure, but the tier three didn't have the raw intimidation factor of, say, a thundergug. Belial flared his own wings, attempting to look bigger, and roared his own challenge back, harsher and of a higher pitch than average. It wasn't enough to be disorienting, Belial had no training, and drakes didn't reach that thunderous of a roar without training.
Nerius watched the scene below; that was the spirit he liked about the brown, defiant and uncowed even in the face of something physically stronger. He still suspected the tier one would loose, unless he took flight. The flare of wings could be a good sign, but so far it was just for display. There was nothing for him to do but watch though, and soon the longhorn was in motion. Belial was slightly slower, but spurred into action at the other brown's charge, and moved to make his own strike.

Calculations
Schródinger uses Bite! Schródinger's Dexterity of 5 + 4 rolled by staff = 9 vs. the 3 Dexterity of Belial Schródinger will deal the most damage possible! Schródinger's Strength of 8 + 3 damage of Bite = 11 11 - 5 Resistance of Belial = 6 damage Belial's Stamina is now 1
Belial uses Headbutt! Belial's Dexterity of 3 + 9 rolled by staff = 12 vs. the 5 Dexterity of Schródinger Belial will deal the most damage possible! Belial's Strength of 7 + 3 damage of Headbutt = 10 10 - 6 Resistance of Schródinger = 4 damage Schródinger's Stamina is now 5

Despite his unwillingness to yield, Belial hadn't moved as fast as the other brown, and Nerius wasn't surprised to see that the tier three struck first. He was a little surprised that Belial didn't go down. The lower tier brown was bleeding, badly, from the viscous bite that had struck his neck, but he'd pulled away and was still standing. He took advantage of that movement too, using his momentum to swing his head back and strike the other brown with his horns.
The strike landed, but as unimpressive as his horns were, it didn't deal much damage. There was a little blood from the sharp tips, sure, but the tier three was clearly in a lot better shape than Belial was. The tier one gave another gravelly roar, but he was staggering, and though he was moving at the brown rather than trying to retreat, Nerius rather doubted he'd be able to get a hit in before the other drake moved.

blood! first blood! cho is so hapy. snapping his neck out to bite into the tender flesh that connected neck and shoulder, he's been bitten there enough times to figure it out. because its not his size that he has on other drakes, its the head ware. necks moved faster then feet, it goes otu, and his mouth opens, and it takes a bite of his ooponent's flesh. nom nom. but the glory is short lived as it piles the other right into his shoulder. his head to far down, it gets scraped by the horns of the other. how dare. how dare you make me bleed. you will daaaaaie. the roar in answer to the gravelly old thing tossing itelfs around before him is met iwth a much more shrill schriek of his own. he was not hurt badly, but it was still enough to cpmplate about. how dare you, i eat you now. -action....don't type at 2am.

Belial got a good hit in, but was no match, for the moment, for the tier three and goes down after a few rounds. The Pit crew split into two to tend to the Drakes.
Results Schródinger gains 2 levels and Ridelys gains 5 pit prize points Belial gains 1 level and Nerius gains 3 pit prize points
