Basic Obedience in contests

"Basic obedience: Once a pet reaches a certain level of loyalty, it has some assumed obedience towards it's owner. For example, a pet that loves you would never bite you, and would not need to be explicitly taught not to. However, if you are not around to stop it, it will not listen to anyone else.
To clarify, these are not 'free tricks' and you do not add them to your 'tricks known'. Instead, it is assumed your pet will generally follow these commands with you around. They still must be 'taught' (and the appropriate TP spent) if other people are trying to ask your pet to obey the command.
Trick List: Name (loyalty 5), No (loyalty 7), Come (loyalty 10), Stay (loyalty 10), Follow (loyalty 10), Move (loyalty 10), Tolerance (loyalty 15), No Bites (loyalty 15)"
This above is what is posted in the levels and loyalty thread inside of stat basics.
From the gardening contest forward, folks may or may not recall that everything must be 'trained' in order to get points in contests.
What about this basic obedience? The contest staff isn't attempting to get your animal to do the trick, you are. Same with the training gym, figuratively, but do tricks still matter since its converted to a loyalty vending machine?
Pros: Basic obedience tricks suck on training, and everyone knows this. (coughhouloucough) Having basic obedience in training purposes is nice, but that does nothing for us if we cannot use it specifically.
Loyalty can't be bought with qp, levels can. So we players would still need to put in the work.
Cons: 11 tp of "free" tricks for 15 loyalty worth of work. What could work otherwise is allowing the whole batch of basic obedience to be noted at 15 loyalty and no lower?
