To the community square.. A fairly short flight away from the park, no more than a handful of minutes were spent in the air before they descended from the sky and landed on the stonework path. This was likely their last stop - the remaining figurines were scattered around this area. Unfortunately, this was one of the busier parts of town. People coming and going, pets trailing them, wagons and carriages in lanes.. Figuring where to start would prove difficult. Xentus slid off the alurook's back and looked around, his eyes perusing the storefronts and cafes which dotted the area around the central fountain.
"Stay close, Mashiik", the man told the large owl, watching as her eyes scanned the busy area. Larger creatures weren't exactly common to have lounging about the community center, save for equillion or similar mounts. An alurook was a little out of place, but as long as the bird was behaved, there wasn't much reason for her to draw the eye. Well, aside from that brilliant golden plumage of hers.. As far as he knew, such coloration was unseen among these giant owls. Ah, but here he was getting distracted again. Xentus kept a hand on Sequinn to make sure the faeron wouldn't scamper off on its own anymore as he walked toward the fountain, searching for a place to begin.

The sound of the fountain with the idle chatter of passer-bys was a pleasant one. It brought him memories of sitting at the fountain's edge and simply peoplewatching. Maybe that's what the kapper would do too? The leopard skirted about the stony circumference of the fountain, eyes scanning for something that might capture someone's attention. Food, stores, conversation.. There was a lot to distract someone simply spending some time in the presence of city life. A hum escaped the man as he perused his options.. And eventually, his eyes settled on the antiques store. It was a personal favorite of his. So with bias, he headed over.
"Xentus won't be long. Stay here, alright?", he told the alurook in his company, receiving a quiet 'hoo' in return. He hoped that meant she knew what he meant. Not like she could follow him inside. "And you, Quinn..", he said now to the faeron, "Behavior yourself, this one pleads of you". Having the creature running loose in the shop would be the quickest way for him to be banned from ever returning.
The leopard looked about the antiques for sale, wondering if he'd happen across any of the glass figures somehow. They weren't antique really, but one who were into old items of interest might find some value in such kinds of art.

The rat-like mammalian tending to the store greeted Xentus warmly, seeming excited to see a returning customer. Xentus apologized for not looking to buy (much to the rat's distaste), and explained his purpose, sparking a raised brow. It would seem the shopkeeper knew the kapper he spoke of.. And had some mixed feelings about them. Never actually a customer, but always looking to negotiate for his 'glasses' to be put on display. They then procured a work from the kapper - a finely posed rearing equillion. The most they were willing to put out for customs to see, to test the potential interest. And it turned out, there were some interested eyes.. But none who ever came forward to ask for purchase. The rat-like mammalian was more than happy to hand off the trinket to Xentus, seeing the thing as a waste of space.
The leopard dipped his head in thanks before starting to head out. Not before a tip was given - to take a look at the jewelry store a few blocks down. With that in mind, the leopard was on his way. "Good job, Quinn", the man quietly praised the faeron then turned his attention to the alurook once he was outside, "And good waiting, Mashiik."

The alurook cooed happily at the return of its keeper, even if it had only been waiting for a few minutes. The stares of people passing by was growing unnerving.. But back in the presence of the man, there was a great deal of comfort to be had. The giant owl seemed to trail even more closely after the man as he lead his crew to their new target. Two blocks down and make a left, there should be a jewelry store.. Still part of the community center, though it was a bit removed from what he'd consider to be the shopping district.. Hopefully it would be a good lead, otherwise he'd end up backtracking.
"Sorry, Mashiik, Quinn. Xentus will need to go in alone, he believes", the man apologized to his companions, looking about the storefront. It was elegant looking and very clearly had a 'no pets allowed' sign plastered on the front door. Undoubtedly due to a mishap in the past. He wouldn't have trusted Quinn to not get distracted by the numerous dazzling and sparkling items on display anyway. The faeron was left in the alurook's care, then the leopard entered the store. And already he could tell there was much to behold here.

Amid the expensive rings, necklaces, and watches were crystalline figures of various shapes.. Including a suspicious looking display of animal figures. The store attendant behind the front counter was relaxed and friendly as Xentus approached to take a closer look. 'Ah, the display pieces of K. Apper have caught your eye, have they?' He almost chuckled. These were the last few missing 'glasses' on his list. Was the wayward kapper so ditzy that he'd forgotten he left his trinkets on display in a jewelry store? The leopard explained as much to the attendant, who hardly seemed fazed. Apparently, the kapper had always been surprised to see his works here already and would exchange pieces out for better ones. With a nod of thanks, the leopard declined further business and made his exit. There was no need to save these from a place the kapper would happen about again sometime in the future.
With that, it would seem his work was done. Though, he'd never found the weaver.. But given he'd found everything else, he considered this a mission success. Xentus returned to his awaiting companions and took to the air again, flying off to return his quarry to their rightful owner.
