She wasn't sure if this was a good idea, but of course it was! She'd seen someone post an add for a Pachee breeding with mushrooms, and, remembering what happened the last time, she hoped she wouldn't get a sterile male again, that would be weird. Frowning a little, she looked down at Fade and then patted him on the head, his leash wound around him from him running in little circles chasing his tail. A chuckle escaped her and she shook her head, at least this was something to do and she hadn't gotten Fade out before, so it would be interesting to see what he was going to be like. This was going to be a little stranger at the same time, she wasn't meeting Nina, or Nerius, it would seem, and they were her main breeding partners. Tapping her chin a little as she stayed outside of the Breeding Center, she glanced up at the sky and smiled. It was warm, but at least there was a cool breeze.

Silver had carefully written an add for a Pachee breeding partner and someone had answered. Actually, a few people had answered! Thankfully they had plenty of mushrooms hanging around with Cepé around shedding the darn things. The breeding center had recently announced that it was safe to use odd things like mushrooms in the breedings, so they hoped there would be interesting results. It had been a while since they had bred Pachee, though, so they were cautiously optimistic.
Lea was tucked under their arm as they approached the building. She didn't have a leash, so Silver just held on to her around the middle. "Ah, hey," they said. Their voice was a bit quiet, but they waved to get Jack's attention with their free hand.
"My, my name is Silver, and, ah, I think you were, ah, that you answered my ad?" They definitely sounded a bit nervous. Did they know this person? They couldn't remember...

Leaning against the building for a little while, she watched Fade as he ran around and then finally plopped down onto the ground. Jack chuckled and then saw a shadow come across the ground and she glanced up, seeing someone standing in front of her. "Oh hey there! Yeah, I'm Jack, nice to meet you!" she told them, offering to shake hands. She then motioned to the door and opened it up, "Here, after you!" It would be a bit before they got a room she figured, but it was going to be alright. Hopefully they had a few new ones, what with the new plants being offered in breedings and such. It was going to be great, she couldn't wait to see what this thing did today with these, and this was just the time to do it as well. Hopefully the item Silver offered wouldn't interfere with the horns on Fade's head, and she frowned a little as she thought about that. Maybe it was bad to bring this particular Pachee.

"Right, right, nice to meet you," Silver said with a quick nod. They let Jack shake their free hand, which was hidden by a glove, but they did so somewhat stiffly and oddly. She was... really pretty, they thought, but also the aura around her felt... strange. They really didn't know what to think, but they were pretty sure that no harm would come to them or their Pachee while at the breeding center. This was a safe place, at least in their mind.
A light grey, ghostly Paogon appeared from out of nowhere and started flying around behind Fade. When he plopped over, so too did Quin, laying on the ground and peeking at the Pachee from under his wing. Did he want to keep playing?
"Oh, ah, this is Quin, don't worry, he's harmless, but he'll be joining us, ah, if that's okay?" They didn't know what they would do if she said it wasn't okay, but they didn't think she would.

Lighting up, Jack beamed happily when she saw the little Paogon, "Not a problem! I have one too, but she's not ghostly like this one..." She grinned and patted Fade on his head when he perked up as well at the sight of something that came a little closer to him. He was excited about this whole thing, and swatted his tail against the ground before he followed Jack into the building when she opened up the door, "Come on in, we can get started on the paperwork!"
Something felt... familiar, about Silver it would seem, and she frowned where she didn't think they could see as she touched her node pouch. There was a similarity to certain things, and they radiated energy she was used to a little herself. Giving a small smile, she wondered if they had a light node or something, that might explain Quin being nearby, he could be a familiar right?

She had one too? A familiar, or a Paogon? She must mean a Paogon, they reasoned. They were a very rare species, so Silver wanted to ask about it, but they were concerned that the question might be rude and chose not to say anything.
"Sure, yep," they said with a nod, catching the door behind her. Fill out the paperwork, right. They always had to do that whenever they went anywhere fun. They were used to it, but they still didn't like it.
Lea began to wiggle in Silver's arms, wanting to get down and see what the others were doing. They were playing, and she wanted to play too! "Alright, then," Silver said softly, "Keep her safe, will you?"
Silver placed Lea down next to Quin so that he could watch over her. It was a formality, really, as he wouldn't be able to stop her from doing anything even if he tried. Still, Silver felt safer if he was there to watch over the Pachee.

If Silver had asked, she would have happily told them both! She had a familiar, a halfbreed actually, AND a Paogon. That was fine though, she had no knowledge of what they were thinking of course, but it was an interesting thought anyway.
"Not my favorite thing," Jack sighed as she started on her part of the paperwork, sliding some over to Silver with a smile and a wink. No one seemed to like doing the paperwork, but it was needed no matter what happened, and she understood that much at least. Still though, as she wrote the monotonous words down, she hoped that things would work out well enough. Fade seemed enamored with Lea now that he saw her a little better and paid more attention to her, and she chuckled a little.
"They're pretty good here about keeping everything in order if you're worried. When was the last time you were here, if at all I suppose?" Jack asked Silver as she handed over the paperwork to the receptionist.

"Ah, yea," Silver said with a sigh. They quickly scribbled across the paperwork, and their general nervousness made their handwriting even worse than usual. After their hasty scrawl was finished, they placed them on the counter and hoped that whoever had to read them got the point.
"Well, ah, I was here not that long ago, with a, ah friend of mine," they explained. Fiera probably had a different opinion about how close of 'friends' they were, but Jack didn't have to know anything about that. "We were breeding Pachee, then, actually, and, ah, one of them ended up with glowing markings." Silver smiled softly, thinking about the cute Pachee roaming about their garden.
Lea rubbed her face with her paw, not wanting to run around just yet. What was she waiting for? Did she even know? She scratched her ear with her little claws, then blinked at Fade. Well, was he going to do something? Quin rolled over onto his back so he could watch the scene upside-down.

"Oh that's great!" Jack exclaimed with a smile as she waited on them to finish up their paperwork. Glancing down at the two Pachee, she realized Fade was starting to wag his tail, much like a dog at this point, which wasn't an issue, but she wished they would wait until they were in the room. Oh well, as long as they were in the Breeding Center it shouldn't be a problem. "If you ever want to breed again just let me know, I have a feeling this one's almost over," she chuckled lowly, looking fondly at the two Pachee, "Or if you want to breed anything else, at that. I mean, I have most everything you CAN breed in the Center at least?"
Going from wagging his tail, the male Pachee went to thumping his tail against the floor, loosing up pollen as he poked at the female, bobbing his head in a laugh. He didn't know what was going to happen, but that was fine! At least he hoped they were both having fun, he thought as he attempted to tackle her.

Silver briefly looked over their shoulder in the direction of the breeding rooms. They had expected to be heading there next, but they soon found out that Fade has other plans.
"That would be nice," Silver said with a nod. They had a lot of creatures who could use a trip to the breeding center, and if Jack had even half as many, they could spend a lot of time there.
"Oh?" they made an odd sound, almost like a squeak as they looked down at Fade. He apparently wasn't willing to wait until they got to the room. Silver closed their eyes and turned their face away, so that no pollen would get into their eyes or nose.
Lea was surprised to see that this guy was so happy all of a sudden. Then she realized that he was wagging his tail. Oh! Well she knew what that meant. She closed her third eyelid and awaited the puff of pollen that was to come. So exciting!
