Holding her head up high, however, she glanced at the ground and then walked over to the picnic table. Ravi complained about settling onto the table, so she simply shrugged and kept him on her shoulder for now. This was going to be alright, she figured, and took her bag off and placed it onto the table before putting her hands on her hips, glancing around again. What she could do was clean up the pond a little, but that didn't really need it at this point she knew with a little frown, though she hoped that things would work for her no matter what. The animals in the garden raced around for a little while, and she gave a chuckle as she watched the Pachee and whatnot in the gardens. She just hoped they were all happy with the place, where they lived and breathed and all that at this point.

Rubbing her hands together, she knew some of her plans for Ravi when he evolved, and she grinned as she thought about it. She could honestly say she was going to do this for the experimentation of the whole thing, but at least she could take him back to the Gym soon enough she knew with a small nod. What the nutrients were going to do to him, she didn't really know at this point, but that was fine she thought with a smile and a nod. Ravi was a good boy, she knew he was going to do well when he evolved, but she knew it was going to be a challenge with the rest of what she had planned for him and all that. Flicking a small bug off of her arm, she chewed her lip and finally decided what to do, or at least that's what she thought for now.

Jack was going to start on the raised beds first she figured as she grabbed the wheelbarrow full of soil she'd had brought in to her garden the day or so before. It was full and she had a big pile of it to fill all of her raised beds at this point, hopefully she would find a few more things as time went on, but she wasn't going to hold her breath for it. Already she had found a Harachiu, a Lotine, and a Koguma, which was nice, but she really wanted another flower and some actual spoils from the garden. The fewer animals she would come across, the better it would be she knew with a little sigh. Ah well she thought as she glanced over at Ravi, at least she knew what was going to happen from time to time, she could see that some plants were starting after all.

She needed to start filling the raised beds with new soil, the other day she had scooped the majority of it out to hopefully get rid of the worms and refresh the whole place, but for now she just yawned a little and eyed Ravi for a moment before pushing the wheelbarrow over there and starting out. She didn't know what she wanted to do, it surely wasn't this at the moment, but that was fine all the same she figured with a sigh. Ah well, she needed a few things to get done and they weren't going to get done if she didn't get around and do them, after all. Jack frowned though, she didn't know what she wanted to do other than this, she really wanted to train up Ravi, but that would have to wait until he had evolved from the museum, just to see what he could do.

It would be fine, she would get this done eventually, Ravi would eat all of his nutrients, and then she would get him grown at the museum. Then, maybe, she wouldn't come back to the gardens for awhile. Oh who was she kidding, she would come back with an Ohou, most likely, though she wasn't sure what all she needed to get done. Rubbing the back of her neck, the woman wasn't sure what she wanted to do with things before she started to shovel the soil into the raised beds, and she sighed a little. Her arms were a bit sore from the other day, and the ground was still black from burning, though bright green was starting to poke through, it was good for the grass and other plants to burn sometimes she knew, she just had to remind herself of that every now and then. Glancing at the sky, she realized she had a long way to go.

All Jack knew was, she had a few things she needed to get done as she worked with both Ravi and the beds she was working on. Things were going to be alright in the long run she knew, but things were going to be alright she knew. This was good for her, she knew that things were going to be fine and all that, though she didn't know what she was going to get done all along. Giving a frown, the woman chuckled a little with a bit of derision, she didn't know if she could get this done, it was bad enough that she was getting things going all along. What she wanted to do was get this done so she could focus on other things, like Houluh and Ohou at this point, they were nice dogs, and she knew she needed them grown if she was going to do anything.

As long as it all worked out, then she was going to be fine, though it did take quite a bit out of her from time to time. Sighing, she frowned and shoveled more dirt into the raised bed until it was full, wondering what she was going to plant in this one. No time for that though she thought, looking at Ravi, she needed to fill the rest of them before she did anything she knew. This was a pain in the ass, and just her luck it would seem, but she didn't know what she wanted out of all of this either. She scratched her cheek, as it was itching a little bit, she must have a bug bite considering the small raised welt there, as she looked around, wondering which one to do next. It didn't really matter though did it, as long as it all got done eventually.

Well... she had a few moments before she really needed to do anything, she figured as she finished off putting the soil into the beds. She could do something else she supposed, like hunting for different plants she thought with a sigh. It wasn't like she wasn't looking after her flower just yet, she really wished she had at this point, though she knew bringing a flower AND Ravi was a bad idea when it was all said and done. Ravi would probably try and eat it if he had his way. Sighing a little, the woman shook her head a little bit and wondered what to do at the moment, this was the hardest part, she just had to wait a little bit before she could plant anything, she wanted to make sure she wasn't going to get any more worms at this point, right? Ravi chirped at her, this was rough...

The garden looked... terrible. Jack winced a little and glanced over at Ravi on her shoulder. He just settled there a little and looked around as well. Shaking her head, she realized she didn't really know what to do right now with him, he just needed to grow, but that meant spending time doing things with him, and she had to admit, it was getting a little old coming out at weird times it felt like. Stretching out, she wedged open the gate to the garden and stepped through, heaving a sigh as she looked around at the thorns and brambles that had taken over. This place used to look nice, it had taken a lot of work, but it had. Now she regretted hiding away for awhile, but there hadn't been much she could do about it. Ah well, she figured as she put both Ravi and her bag on the rotting bench next to the gate, at least she could work now.

There was a lot of life around here though, she could see things move every now and then, well, there was always something moving, she just couldn't tell what it was at the moment. Just one thing or many things, she wondered? Gritting her teeth a little, the woman looked at Ravi, who just chirped at her a little, and she pulled on a set of gloves. It wasn't freezing out but it wasn't necessarily warm either. Once she got to working she figured she would warm up quite a bit, so she had dressed appropriately. With Ravi settled for the moment, the woman pushed her hair back and got to work. The brambles and branches that had fallen over the past year or so were the first she was going to tackle, then she would evaluate further, but there was no point in thinking too far ahead or she would just get sad.

Maybe she would find something that hadn't already been living here that she knew of. She really doubted it, but there was a chance she figured with a little shrug as she pulled on a bramble. It was rooted pretty well though and she had to tug pretty hard, either that or she had lost some muscle mass after being away for so long. That was more like it she figured with a small sigh, and Ravi seemed to agree with her as he eyed her a little. A sigh escaped her and she didn't know what she was going to do at the moment. All she could do was keep working she figured as she scowled at the weeds and brambles. Ah well, there was stuff to do that, what was she going to do now? She just wanted somewhere nice to be without all the work and struggle, but that wouldn't happen, she had to put in the effort.

Ravi stared at her for a moment and simply shook his head a little before preening his feathers a little bit. There wasn't much for him to do here, and that's how he liked it. As long as he could keep getting some of that food, then things would be fine. There had to be something though he figured with a bit of a glare at the woman as she pulled some more wood off of the ground. They were getting bigger and bigger he thought, but she was tough enough to get this stuff done, and then maybe he could do a few things as well. It would be nice to fly around at some point, and he fluttered his wings a little as he tried to discover what it would be like to actually fly. It would be amazing, but he didn't know what the feeling was actually going to be like until he did it, he supposed.

It was almost time for him to get more food, she figured with a little sigh as she pulled a large log off of the ground and put into the wheelbarrow she always used. Maybe she needed to upgrade, get a wood chipper... Now there was an idea she figured as she raised an eyebrow. Looking at the ground, she nodded and trotted off for a little while before coming back pushing a large machine. It took some doing, but she cleared a small spot for it and turned it on, feeding some of the wood through it and watching as the resulting wood chips flew into a barrel. It was going to be great, then she could use it for mulch or something, sell it maybe? Eh, there was something she could do she figured, but she could decide on that later. Looking at Ravi, she stretched out a little and tried to figure out what she needed to feed him next.

Jack groaned a little and looked at Ravi, it was about time to feed him some more wasn't it? She glanced at the additives that were poking out of her bag a bit and winced. Well, after this small stack of branches and logs she would get that done and he would be that much closer to being taken to the museum again. It would probably take awhile for him to grow, but... it would be worth it she figured with a little shrug. Jack pushed her hair back and then scowled a little, she had cut it not too long ago, and now it was time to do it again she felt. Maybe time was going faster than she thought, a sigh escaped her. Well, this was going to be alright she thought with a little smile, and she rubbed her hands together after putting another log through the chipper. She had things to do it seemed!
