Half-breed: Hell Hounds Cunning: 2 Critter Average Top Speed: 35 mph Power Levels: 5 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 6 Strength: 6 Resistance: 4 Dexterity: 7 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Pack Instincts, Hardy, Flutter Moves: Bite, Immolation, Breathe Fire Size Chart Reference: 4 Vicious and "Cold", these fiery creatures could easily be considered "hell hounds" if there ever was one... They certainly don't have any morals against things such as theft, or eating baby animals from nearby dens - but they DO form a strong bond to those of kin (such as Vulticus, or.. an owner who spends a great deal of time training them).. They're not big enough to be ridden - but a wise trainer can surely melt the hearts of these "vicious" predators.

If you could imagine touching a cloud, that's what the "feathers" of these semi ethereal avians feel like. Their claws and beaks though - are just as tangible as any bird's, so remember that when training them! For some reason (probably their elemental heritage) they don't need to use their wings to fly - but they do so anyway, most likely out of instinct.

Their fur will fall out if you frighten them too badly.. They have teeth of gnawing sharpness if you threaten their little nests... And, they have that slight magical touch of the moon - they're quite nocturnal. Oh yeah, did we mention they are cute and fluffy? (and hyper, and mischievous?)

Okay, well.. maybe three brains total to train may be something of a difficulty... Especially with a serpent's head tail that can strike without hesitation. These creatures are not large enough to ride (unless you're the size of a fae or kapper) - and they have a "haughty" attitude.. they want things their way, or they'll show off their displeasure!

They float throughout the skies, rolling thunder as they pass... and on occasion - you may even spy a rainbow trailing behind!

They seem to bond with the soul of their owners, and innately know their feelings. They are also creatures of shadow, and their temperament can range from peaceful and loving (knowing exactly how it feels to hurt), to cruel and spiteful - biting as they pass.. these moods seem to change with the flip of a coin.. No doubt it would take a truly skillful trainer to keep them under a peaceful attitude at all times. They are also highly judgmental - striking down those "un-fit" (however they see the term) where it hurts the most.

Half-breed: Tatzelwurm Cunning: 5 Sentient Average Top Speed: 60 mph Power Levels: 4 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 3 Strength: 3 Resistance: 2 Dexterity: 5 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Speak, Run Moves: Venomous Bite Size Chart Reference: 3 Fast, Sleek, and Venomous - these clever creatures will "waddle" along the ground like ferrets, searching out their prey - strike fast, then coil around their victims... if the victim happens to "get away" when the first strike is made - this crossbreed will surely manage to keep up. Though they have wings, they cannot fly. Their hide sports a mixture between fur and scales, giving them an odd texture.

Their coats shimmer and gleam in the light of the moon (or sun) - and they always seem willing to give a gentle nudge and purr.. unless you happen to be food.

However, they can fly through the air with ease and grace.. Speaking of grace, these long-feathered creatures tend to be highly vain - showing off their brilliant plumage at any given opportunity. Their "beak" can snap quite hard, so be cautious not to ruffle up their temper. Their scales beneath the feathers provide decent enough protection, but be wary not to damage their plumage - or they'll be quite grumpy for some time.

Though they cannot fly like their Seryn parent - they are able to (when concentrating) levitate in the air. They have the power over the heavens (so they say), and their head-plate protects them from quite a lot of damage. Not to mention the runes are just plain cool.

Stamina: 5 Strength: 5 Resistance: 3 Dexterity: 5 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Fly, Cold Resistance Moves: Claw, Jump, Wing Buff Size Chart Reference: 5 These large creatures can easily carry a single (non Uthax) rider. They're fast, cold, and calculating. They enjoy "pretty shiny things" - and will not hesitate to strike in order to acquire them, so it's best to give them (shiny) presents every now and again. They're clever, and are quick puzzle solvers. They're fast, agile, and deadly with their claws. Though they do have a nice set of sharp teeth - they prefer to attack with their claws - instead leaping onto their prey with all four feet, and trapping it with their wings. Luckily, like a Gallor, they can be trained - but it may take a bit more work to get over those predatory instincts.. after all, what's to prevent you from being food yourself?

Be ware of their teeth - they'd love to swallow a person whole! They are large enough to carry a rider, but they get too exhausted to do so for long on land.. it's best if they stay in the water.
