Re: Professional Jewelsmith (Artisan Specialized) and Extraordinary Artificer, I think the job requirements should be modified to make them more accessible through our current systems.
I want to preface this by saying I don't mean this as a critique of the job system in general! It's just that these two jobs have Master of Design as part of their requirements, but jewelry making has been essentially dead for several years now. There's no way to actually meet those requirements. I think every other job has requirements that are at least attainable, if time consuming, but this one is impossible to do.
I'm not exactly sure what they should be changed to, I just think all jobs should be eventually attainable for someone who starts playing today, and a legacy achievement requirement gets in the way of that.
Alternatively: if there was a way to get 'Master of Design' without going through the original system of jewelry-making, that would be good too! But as far as I know we don't have any crafting systems yet... And if/when one is implemented, that would be the time to make jobs structured around them, when they exist.

I think finding an equivalent to this would be fair. Whenever I designed that part of the Extraordinary Artificer Job's requirement I had assumed that the requirement requisites for Master of Design would be up a little sooner than it has been. Having an alternate option to use instead of the requirement of Master of Design would be a good workaround until the Workshop is opened again.

A small note, should it help: The Workshop reopening is definitely within works, and currently sees some delay due to Fairgrounds needing to be completed, as well as the general orders backlog, so I'm looking to clear both before starting that up (Since it can be time-extensive to manage, depending on popularity). That said, the Workshop will also restructure itself somewhat in the process, so any decisions based on the old system could need review regardless.

We've decided to suspend the requirement for the time being. When the workshop is restructured, we may make changes again, but we will give people with the jobs in question a grace period to adapt to the change (whatever that may look like).
