"Mornin'!" Lethalia crowed to Jolyene the moment she burst through the cottage door. The fact that she was acquainted with this shopkeeper somwhat might cause someone to wonder if she sincerely had a deathwish. Still, she'd carry on with it. You never knew if it might lead to a new ally - or a new someone to hate her. Either way kept life more interesting than being meek.
The satyr brandished that plastic card she'd been given, giving it a doubtful glance and tapping it on the countertop before holding it out to the shopkeep. Might as well see if she'd been getting the wool pulled over her eyes this whole time over this stupid card. "Built up some 'points', 've been told. Hopin' t'see if I coul' trade fo'couple thousand in credits, 'n th'rest in pet sittin'."
Money on an undiscernable plastic card? Yeah, okay. People at this city could try and hawk plenty of wares with the claim of it being magical or mechanical - the risk being they were more believable here. Such claims would be easily dismissed elsewhere, those places not so saturated in both mystisysm and technology.
Yet she accepted the plain plastic card that she was told held information, including credation for cash. Looking at it now, she felt like an idiot for falling for it. Every time she was told she was 'rewarded' with points to the Inquisitor's shop for her hard work, Leth couldn't help but feel as though someone was screwing her over. It was easy for someone to say she'd been credited; she'd rather have the coin in hand as undeniable proof.
