Renathan had recently gotten ahold of quite a few items from the strange mansion's grounds on the far side of town, and he figured that he might as well go out to the little collection of tables that made up the 'Curious Collections' to see if he could trade for anything of use. He was really hoping for some kind of produce that might sell well, but he wasn't hoping too hard on that one. One never knew what they might find at that place! His familiar, Auburn, sits on his shoulder and stays quiet as he carries the little basketful of items around in one arm and pursues the wares. He does find that there is a good store of wheat, and some of those odd fish fossils that could sometimes be found in the gardens (he'd dug up quite a number of them before, himself). He really didn't like the taste of Dragon's Love, himself, so instead he goes to inquire about the Wheat. "Hello there! Would you be willing to trade some wheat for any of these things?" He hands over the basket for inspection at the earliest convenience. He could be refused, of course. One could never really tell what the enigmatic purveyor of the establishment might want in trade on any given day.

The Trader always seemed to have a strange fondness for items gained from the old mansion. The plants, fish, and rocks were all fine, but there was something special about the trinkets that he always liked. He looked over the items in the basket, then walked away toward one of the piles of fresh goods he had just brought in. It was bundles of wheat he had recieved from a nearby farm. He plucked about half of them out of the pile, and set them on the table. He gestured over the top of the pile as if to say 'will this suit?'.
