It was definitely just under the wire, but Fiera was entering her pet. She loved the idea of the summer solstice contest from the moment she had heard of it, and had the PERFECT creature to enter... once she had trained her a bit more, that is. Serine was an unusual looking tilvander, with patches of red and orange over a deep black body, but the fact that she could survive in water AND lava made her perfect for what the contest was describing. Now she was here, her body cleaned to the point of shining, looking absolutely radiant... and radiating a bit of heat too, due to her control over lava. "Hello there!" Fiera said, swiping an entry form off of the front desk. "I'll be entering my offspring tilvander, Serine. I just know she'll win." Fiera said with a wink. After all, what else would be more fitting of the theme than Serine?
(Note: Waiting on approval for douse, will not use in contest if it is not approved.)

Emery's last contest hadn't gone too well, but in retrospect, she hadn't really been expecting it to. She was choosing to view it less as a failure and more of a learning experience for both her and her pet. Now she had heard of this contest as well, and was bringing in a new pet to show off at it. Pyrrhos was as of yet entirely untrained, but Emery was sure she could find something for him to do. After all, the contest in question was for creatures of water and fire, correct? Pyrrhos matched at least half of that requirement... and in spades, considering he was entirely made of fire. Perhaps she could just describe his features and that would be enough. Either way, it was too late to back out now- she was already filling out his registration paperwork, noting down his features and her intended set so they would be able to provide her with the supplies needed to perform. Though... she had the feeling she wouldn't need much.

It didn't seem like that long since they had been on the contest stage for the winter solstice contest, but it had apparently been half a year already. The summer solstice was upon them and the contest hall had announced a new type of contest in celebration. Silver was a bit nervous about doing something new, but they were also excited and curious to find out what would happen.
They couldn't think of a creature more perfect for a fire inspired contest than Vulc, so they taught him a quick routine to get ready. It was quick, flashy, and full of fire. Perfect. They didn't really know what to expect, but they thought that Vulc's unique abilities would score some points at least.
"Ah, hello," Silver said. Vulc was walking behind them almost awkwardly closely, which they appreciated. It would be a bad look if he set the place on fire this early. It was probably a good thing that he was so shy.
"This is Vulc... Vulcanus, and, ah, I'd like to register for the summer contest. Th.. thanks."

Noa honestly considered sitting this one out. He didn't have any creatures that were particularly fiery, or watery, or even summer oriented. Well, maybe Azalea, but she had been in the last contest, and certainly wasn't eligible for this one. And his experience with the last show had been so awful that he wasn't really in a hurry to do it again. But he had been feeling better for the last couple of days, and Grunty could breathe fire... And with the quest shop paying out less cash than it used to, it was better to earn whatever points you could where you could get them. They were probably even used to seeing him around now. The person manning the counter certainly didn't look surprised to find him here. Grunty had been left outside for the moment, since he had a tendency to make people nervous, not that Noa understood why. The Thundergug was little more than an oversized cow, as far as temperament was concerned, and he had just about as many thoughts in that big empty head. "We're here to sign up for the contest," Noa said. Rhys gave a little wave of his whiskers in greeting as Noa filled out the form.
