Alan has definitely gotten into the Vai Min Mur season. His normal classy business suit is now bright red, and the traveling salesman has added a pair of devil horns, a long tail with a spade on it, and a pitchfork to the ensemble. When asked about it, his response is along the lines of "I was told it suits me! Can't say I disagree, I look good in red." Considering that his wares usually cost an arm and a leg, it's hard to disagree with the choice of outfit. His shop itself isn't much changed- there simply isn't room for a significant number of decorations on such a small cart. Still, the blanket making up the awning has been swapped out for a black and orange one, and a couple of cheap trinkets in the shape of various ghouls and goblins are strung up around the cart- with pricetags tied to them, of course. Since you've come all this way, I guess I can give you something for your trouble... It's been some time since the sphinx last passed the cart, but the evening festivities are drawing her towards all sorts of places not oft visited. While she can't say Alan's bearing has ever made her feel necessarily easy (anyone who smiles that much has more to hide than seems, never mind the rumours) then the fact even he looks to have changed over for the spooky season spikes a sense of curiosity.
There's no crowd to follow yet, it seems, either because the cart is so small, or other places look more interesting, but the sphinx does step up, the mask tilting slightly as to what look to be new offers. Sha'nepti had been the one dealing with him last, and the droid certainly never mentioned any goblins or ghouls as trinkets then.
Tentatively, she holds up the purse, "Erm, trick-and-treat?" The variations didn't really seem to make much difference to most, and she was still trying to figure out the correct way to say it. At the tap of a price sign, she blinks, then starts, "Ah, I see!" and places 25 credits on the counter first.

The crowds had begun to disperse somewhat, with each clique looking to chart their own paths, now that most of the shops had been passed through. Even so, it looked like a lot of the keepers didn't mind repeat visitors, if only because it allowed for more theatrics to unfold. Even business people could enjoy a bout of entertainment every now and again, after all.
Her mind was largely filled with the thoughts of a companion in costume, mulling over the options of who might even fit, when she passed the cart again. There was no more people around than before, but her curiosity hadn't lessened any as a result. The stone from the first time was a nice enough gift, certainly something she can shape into one thing or another.. and while not a gambler as such, there was a scholarly draw as to the nature of Alan's offers.
Walking up, she smiled beneath the mask, placing another 25 credits on the counter, "I'd like to try again, if possible."

While finishing up at the last two shops on Ashe's "to visit" list, he passed Alan's cart. Now, why hadn't he even thought of this one? He'd just assumed Alan wouldn't be in for the nature of giving free trinkets out for, well, free. That was the spirit of trick or treating, after all. Ashe wondered briefly what a "trick" would look like from Alan... He approached, noticing the decorations set up and the smaller changes. He couldn't stop the smile from spreading when he saw what Alan was wearing. A devil costume?! Just like his own! "Hey, man, love the costume!" Ashe said, knowing Alan wouldn't find the same glee when he saw Ashe's costume, but not caring. Alan seemed to like keeping Ashe happy enough to get him to come back and spend more money, but he would probably assume Ashe had copied him as some sign of love. Which, surprisingly, Ashe hadn't.
"Trick or- Oh, right." Of course Alan would charge for a trick or treat... Ashe decided to try anyway, and put credits on the counter.

Ah-ha! Now this was a visit he was going to enjoy. They did not match this time - seeing as Ashe had ditched the Devil costume in favor of a Headless Equillion-man, riding a flaming Equillion. Alan still seemed to be in his devil costume, which was fine as far as Ashe was concerned. He looked like a mighty fine devil, if he did say so himself!
Dracula came cantering down the street, flames crackling, skidding to a halt in front of the cart. Ashe dismounted gracefully, only to fumble with the pumpkin. He managed to save it before it could hit the ground, and he set it on top of his head, making it look like it was his head, and faced Alan. "Trick or treat!" He said, with an air of triumph about him. He was glad to be able to make the rounds again, even if he couldn't be bothered to leave the estate every single night for this.
