Setting
To the south-east of the city, several lengthy rivers feed an enormous lake – Loch Glânda-Lynn. The last large hub of trade before the coastal towns. Upon the shore closest to the city limits are numerous buildings of all nature, mostly built from wood and timber. Naturally, some are built to house all manner of ships – a series of dry docks build over the shallow waters. Others, much newer ones, are specialized more for the housing of thing like Pliathors! The larger part is made up of warehouses, piers, wharfs and pontoons meant for merchants and visitors by water, as well as a pub or two. The smaller piers towards the edge of the Dock, much too small for even a junk to moor, and plain beaches stretching beyond it are reserved for those who wish to train.
Water stretches as far as the eye can see, where the shore beyond is but a thin dark line. Lining the beaches and some part of the Dock itself is a forest, mixed between oaks, and pines, and firs, and other trees of the sort – making the area incredibly scenic.
Of course, with the hustle and bustle of different people in the heart of it, loud pub-going sailors, arguing merchants, enchanted visitors and determined trainers alike, there's not much chance to sit back and enjoy - Pliathor and Seryn, Neptica and Tat-Lung, Lasiobel and Majikiuma are noticeable at every turn. Indeed, if you came here, it was in your mind to train - If you could find an available pier to suit your need.
But that shouldn't be too hard.. Right?
