FIRE
Will O' Wisp
Cost: 3 Fire MP
Description: A cluster of enchanting flames appears a few feet away from you. Those who see that cluster feel oddly drawn to it...
Effect: Creates a cluster of tiny flames; flip a coin. Upon heads, the opponent loses their next turn. If tails, this does nothing.
Meteor Strike
Cost: 3 Fire MP, 3 Earth MP
Description: A light bursts from the sky as the caster summons a meteor from the stars to strike down their foe!
Effect: +3 Earth damage, +2 Fire damage
Blessing of the Phoenix
Cost: 5 Fire MP
Description: The spellcaster is surrounded by vibrant, crackling flame, soothing aching joints and painlessly cauterizing wounds for several turns.
Effect: User regains 2 stamina, and one stamina for two turns after.
Ward off the Sunlight
Cost: 1 Fire MP
Description: Tired of always needing to use sunscreen on hot days to protect your skin? Don’t want a tan? Or allergic to the sun, but still want to come out at day time? Even at its brightest? The user can cast this spell on any target including itself with a thin invisible shield layer around the body to protect themselves from the harmful sunlight, and still enjoy a nice day out in the sun.
Effect: No effect in battle, see description, the ward lasts for 24 Hours.
Flare
Cost: 2 Fire MP
Description: Causes a small melon-sized fire to erupt from the caster's hands, extending no further than a foot away. It is great for starting fires, startling creatures, and searing the faces of people within' arm's reach.
Effect: 2 Fire Damage to one target when cast at Melee range.
Clandle-Flame
Cost: 1 Fire MP
Description: Causes a small pea-sized flame to materialize from the caster's hands, extending no further than a foot away. It is great for starting fires, but not good for much else.
Effect: No direct effect in battle, causes enough flame to light a candle or tinder.
Gift of Flame
Cost: 6 Fire MP
Description: The target of this spell recieves the "gift of flame", allowing it to walk through fire with no ill-effect. While it has the gift of flame, it is also surrounded by ethreal flames, damaging all those who wish to harm it.
Effect: Temporarily grants the target the ability "Flame Body" - lasts for 3 turns. The creature with the gift can choose not to burn anything it decides is fit to survive... so no worries about accidentally burning your house down.
Fireball
Cost: 5 Fire MP
Description: The caster summons a fireball between their hands (or in their mouth), and sends it hurling at the enemy, guaranteed to strike, and burn!
Effect: 6 Fire Damage to one target.
Lightning Bolt
Cost: 2 Wind MP, 2 Fire MP, 1 Hollow MP
Description: The caster summons a lightning bolt from their fingertips (or their mouth), and sends it striking at the enemy, guaranteed to hit!
Effect: 6 Electrical Damage to one target.
Circle of Fire
Cost: 5 Fire MP
Description: A ring of Fire surrounds the caster (and perhaps friends that are within' touch distance of the caster), protecting them from fire-related attacks entirely, and burning all who attempt to harm them.
Effect: Lasts 3 turns. Caster cannot leave the circle, or the effect ends. Grants Fire Immunity to all within' the circle. Any who attempt to enter the circle recieve 4 points in fire damage.
Aura of Fire
Cost: 3 Fire MP
Description: The user surrounds the target's spirit and aura with the chosen element, protecting it for a small amount of time from the chosen element. This is a minor, softly-glowing protection - and not as strong as an elemental shield.
Effect: Gives temporary fire resistance to target, lasts 3 turns.
Sheild of Fire
Cost: 6 Fire MP
Description: The user surrounds the target's spirit and aura with the chosen element, protecting it for a small amount of time from the chosen element. Any time damage from that element would be taken, the aura flares up in a bright light, shielding the protected entirely from the chosen element.
Effect: Gives temporary fire immunity to target, lasts 3 turns.
Ball of Fire's Fury
Cost: 4 Fire MP
Description: The user places their hands together, and slowly pulls them appart, forming from the threads that materialize there a tight swirling ball of it's chosen element. Once the ball has reached the size of a melon, the user hurls it at their foe, causing devistating elemental damage to it. This missile seeks out it's foe, and rarely misses.
Effect: 4 Fire Damage to one target.
Smoke
Cost: 1 Wind MP, 1 Fire MP
Description: Creates a thick choking smoke which lowers visibility
Effect: Accuracy is reduced by 1/4, affects everyone within a 15 foot diameter. Has no affect on creatures with echolocation or that do not rely on their sense of vision.
Lava Pool
Cost: 4 Fire MP, 2 Earth MP
Description: This caster can create a 5 foot diameter, 3 feet deep 'pool' of molten rock on any surface on the ground. Contact with a 'hot spot' will result in 3rd degree burning. Luckily, the ground "glows" red for a single turn before it melts, so most creatures are smart enough to move out of the way.
Effect: Caster creates one "lava pool". Takes one turn to cast. Lasts three tunrs after it is cast. Anyone/anything that comes in contact will receive 2 Fire damage and 2 Earth damage.
Barren
Cost: 3 Fire MP, 3 Earth MP
Description: Creates a barren plain of dry earth for on day. Land turns back to how it was after 24 hours.
Effect: Creates an area that increases the damage of all fire magic by 50% and earth magic by 100%
Fist of Flames
Cost: 2 Fire MP
Description: Put the power of Fire right into your fist giving an increased amount of damage that may leave burn marks on the opponents clothing.
Effect: +2 Fire damage to any punch attack.
Magma Armor
Cost: 2 Fire MP, 2 Earth MP
Description: Call forth the blood of the land to cover you in a suit of hardened magma.
Effect: Gain immunity to Fire and Earth attacks but lose 1 point of dexterity when you use this spell.
Hatchling's Breath
Cost: 4 Fire MP
Description: A small stream of fire about six inches in diameter escapes from your mouth. Perfect to start a fire if you've ran out of matches.
Effect: +2 Fire Damage to one foe.
Dragon's Breath
Cost: 6 Fire MP
Description: A stream of fire errupts from your mouth creating a flame about 6 to 8 feet long. This move is perfect for fire jugglers who wish to give their audience a more interesting show. Though be warned this skill can only be used three or four times a day or otherwise it could have some negative effects on the user.
Effect: +6 damage to any one foe it hits. -1 Stamina from the caster each use.
Insulate
Cost: 1 fire MP
Description: Heading north? Feeling a bit chilly on a cold winter's night? Well then simply use this spell and you'll be perfectly toasty all day, or night, long. Next thing you know you'll laying in the snow, but you'll feel just like you're back home in front of the fire.
Effect: No use in battle -See description-
Sun Song
Cost: 4 Fire MP
Description: Has it been raining for far too long? Are the fields becoming inundated with all the water they've been getting? With this spell you can change that. The caster scatters clouds and summons out the sun causing the soil to slowly dry out over a matter of hours, and you can even get a tan!
Effect: -See description-
Fire Sprite
Cost: 8 Fire MP
Description: You summon a single fire sprite to aid you in battle! The cute little creature, appearing as a glowing fae no bigger than your fist, loyally obeys your every command until it dies or fades away when the magic of the spell has ended.
Effect: Summons 1 creature (6 Sta, 0 Str, 2 Resist, 6 Dex, 6 Ment) to fight with you for 3 turns. It can attack for 1 fire damage per turn or obey simple commands.
Gates of Mortavos' Lair
Cost: 2 Dark MP, 1 Fire MP
Description: A dark swirling mass of shadow and fire is opened up beneath the opponent. It singes their feet and pulls them into the darkness before fading away as though it never existed.
Effect: Does 2 dark and 1 fire damage to one target.
Firespin
Cost: 3 Fire MP
Description: A tornado of fire is generated, and aimed at the foe.
Effect: Target is caught in the blast for three turns, and is dealt 1 fire damage each turn.
Jetfire
Cost: 5 Fire MP
Description: Summons 10 random pillars of fire to shoot up from the ground.
Effect:Roll a regular die. For every even number, deal 1 fire damage.
Burning Breath
Cost: 5 wind MP, 3 Fire MP
Description: A great fiery breath is exuded from the caster's mouth or hands.
Effect: The caster uses Breathe Fire, as per the move.
Soulflare
Cost: 4 Fire MP
Description: The caster can call a flame from within their heart; and deal damage with the spectral thing.
Effect: Deals as much fire damage to one target as the caster has mentality. This can only be used once per battle.
Stoke
Cost: 5 Fire MP
Description: The caster 'stokes the spiritual flames' of another, boosting their conviction and power in a fiery flash.
Effect: A single target gets +1 to all of it's stats for the next 3 turns.
Enrage
Cost: 5 Fire MP
Description: The caster invokes a fiery rage in another, making them fight with more fervor.
Effect: A single target gains the effects of Bloodthirsty regardless of whether any enemy is below the stamina usually required for it to proc for three turns.
Cauterize
Cost: 2 Fire MP
Description: The caster uses a gentle bit of flame to cauterize a wound. It hurts!
Effect: A single target loses the 'bleeding' status effect and takes -1 stamina damage. The stamina damage is negated if they have four or more resistance, or if they have fire resistance or fire immunity.
Purify with Flame
Cost: 12 Fire MP
Description: The caster has a fiery conviction to destroy their enemies, and to heal their comrades' afflictions.
Effect: Deals 7 Fire damage to enemies all within ten feet of the caster, and for those within twenty feet of the caster (but outside the ten feet radius) it deals 4 Fire damage. In addition, any friendly targets within twenty feet of the caster are healed of all status effects (this includes but is not limited to Bleeding, Curses, Poisons, Acids, Venoms, practically all Damage Over Time Effects, and status drains that are not Intimidation.) This does not give stamina, however.
Name: Flame Aegis
Cost: 4 Fire MP
Description: A firey glow surrounds you, and all cold melts away.
Effect: Grants the user cold immunity for 4 turns.
