Anyone want to pick a team, train our respective beasts, and team up to fight a boss?
If you have any specific builds or strategies you'd like to try, a power level limit, or a specific boss you want to fight, let me know.

With the newest update to the prize pools, anyone out there looking to score some pit points but need a partner for the boss fights? I think we'd only receive one point less than usual for teaming up, meaning if we both run creatures with a power level five or less then we should get a nice chunk of pit points.
I'd prefer to fight Kingly or Stomper if possible, but I'm willing to fight the other two so long as the first match is not against Squishy.

I'm interested in teaming up! I got Sequinn, Mira, and Mashiik that can already kinda fight. Sequinn's particularly fun for battles because of bioluminescence + physical immunity. Mira would be ineffective against Squirt in particular because their primary damage is from wing buff. Edit: Mashiik does have lightning bolt learned proper, so she'd get two casts of that given her mp.
I did want to fight with my few v2 golems at some point, given that impermeable seems pretty strong of an ability, they'd be mostly insulated from damage for a few hits. So I'd be up for training/growing them. Currently I have a fire stalker with breathe fire (personal log entry not recorded) and a glass stalker with... Nothing too useful. And on the golem note, I'd been wanting to try and play with my phoenix cross, who would probably go best against Kingly or Stomper in particular.
I also did have some fun plans to use a bunch of lerrels too, but I'm waiting on receiving them.
Whatcha think?

I have a balgor trio I could run with your pair of stalker golems if you’d like, or the fire golem and Mashiik, to have a team rated as power level five for the points portion. Balboa is just a bruiser with a +1 to her crunch damage, Farida has to spend a turn buffing herself though all of her stats get a +1 when she does, and Hektor has Verdant Growth(which unfortunately appears to hit EVERYONE physically hitting the boss on the same turn that it is cast) so she can buy a turn for buffing/ranged attacks and a second free turn that allows any attacks. They all have pack instincts too, so if I bring all three, each gets a +2 to their base stats. We should have a decent chance to beat one of the bosses in this case. I'd like to vote for Kingly, as the only other two bosses I am allowed to fight at this time are immune to fire. Figured this might be the best option for now if you want to get a match in before the end of the month. I can see some possibilities for the rest of the creatures, and, if you aren't concerned about trying to get a match in before the end of the month, we can try for a different grouping. Would be fun to train up some 'shadow' creatures to fight alongside that faeron while using a pet that knows Darkness to cut down on visibility and maybe Psychic Distortion from one of my amphadron to deal absurdly heavy damage against a boss while he tries to hit the only light he can see in the dark, or something equally thematic to dazzle and rip apart the opponent alongside your phoenix cross. I honestly have a ton of pets and probably would be willing to train any of them, so if you see one or more in here you would like to fight alongside, let me know.
We can also try another team later on if you end up enjoying this one and later want to try another one.

I'd say since there's only a few days before July, there's nothing to lose throwing a buncha pets at Kingly! I'd be up to making a tag team with your balgor trio and my stalkers for the fun of throwing them recklessly into the fray hah. The only possibly worry from my group is that breathe fire does have a chance to splash to allies, though from my observations, it's about a 10% chance. Aaand I realized now that my glass golem doesn't have hardy, so it would be a bit of a bum leg tossing into a fight. I unfortunately don't have any other PL5 critters to use if you're looking to have a strictly PL5 fight. If we do try to get in a fight before next month and you're willing to have me play with some less powerful critters, Sequinn, Mira, or Mashiik are my go-to's
As far as looking at different critters to train up, I feel like it would be cool to see Hekesh and my phoenix in a fight together :D Fiery is fun! And I have a couple of gallor offspring that play well with fire to go with them (who only have stats listed at the bottom here as of the moment). I know a fire-oriented comp does limit us to just 2 bosses to fight though. Feel free to rifle through my kennel if theres anything you think you'd like to make a team with, though I don't have very much selection ^^'

Alma watching her balgor get lit on fire would be interesting in the worst case scenario, but I could see the issue if their ally managed to take them all out early in the fight. Mira and Mashiik would be fine if you prefer them, rather not risk your faeron due to Kingly having two attacks that might take her out in one hit. And none of them have to be power level five, that was me trying to match mine to yours. XD If you want to bring pets higher or lower than that, it’s fine with me.
Want me to start the boss fight thread? And alright going with a ‘newspaper ad, confirmation through letter, meeting first time at the pit for the fight’ for the IC team up reason, or would you prefer something else?
And I’d be down to make a fire-based team later on. Always looking for good IC reasons to train pets, and I also have an offspring gallor with an immunity to fire attacks I can train up too. As for other team possibilities, I have only a few vague ideas at the moment. I'd be interested in everything from a dino team(chelcauda/fossils(take a while to grow, but could be neat)/chiryma/etc vs Stomper or any of the other bosses) to something like training only birds, or even as restrictive as pure gallor.

Ah I see! I’m not worried about matching PL, so I’ll go with Mira Sequinn and Mashiik :> (thought about it, Quinn should be able to take up to one hit and possibly stun lock kingly - I think she’ll make it ok as live bait) Go ahead and start it up, I think a newspaper ad to meet scenario would work just fine, Xens done that before for a breeding meet.
As for a later team, aside from team fire, I also only really have vague ideas. Been thinking about using ethereal pets perhaps. I want some excuse to get a shadow lurker or a yumenokei hehe. Single species tag team could be fun too, especially with pack instincts and alpha. The new wild dog vulti v2 gets a +2 bonus to itself from pack instincts, so imagine if we had 5 of them between us (assuming pack instincts extends to all allies)

Let's gooo~ Rooting for her. This should be an awesome fight. A ghost team would be amazing, bonus if I can bring a few of my more undead-ish pets so we can go ghosts n' ghouls. And full Pack Instincts teams are something I'd love to try, though getting those vulticus specifically could take a while (though those +8 to every stat would be insane), so that would either be much later on, or we could try for one of the other species or breeds with it in their base stats. I am starting to think there are far too many excellent possibilities out there. XD Which one would you want to run next the most?

I high-key love the thought of ghosts n' ghouls 👌 I'll have to do me some research to see what I'd really want to use for that kind of theme. As far as going for a single species/pack instincts, you're right about the wild vulti, so aside from them, gallor seem the most versatile and accessible. The two offspring I've got only really need levels and I can just buy their move training for the most part. And since they're also fire aligned, they can then mesh into a fire team too. So ultimately I feel like either gallor team or fire team can be the next thing to try, whichever sounds more fun to you :D

Gallor or fire. Tough choice. I think I'll go with gallor for now because gryphons, and I'll try to get a pair of mine trained up as quickly as possible.

I am sorry, but, at this time, it looks like I’m only going to be able to do the boss fight we’re currently doing. Hope your future attempts go well.

All good! If you ever want to team up again in the future and try those other comps, I’d be more than happy to
