This thread will mainly be used for questions about certain Tricks/Abilities/Moves that might need more clarification on it in order to be able to make a guide about it, or if something is impossible to teach like say the ability to be Ethereal or have Flame Body. There might always be some extra info that could be placed there instead for a better understanding on how exactly it works, or what they could do with it that might be a bit lacking in the ones that aren't a guide as it is solely geared for use in battle. So I've got a few questions of my own as well for the guides I want to make.
Question; 1 (Ability, Resistance)
We are able to teach a pet a single resistance with 100 training points, but does that mean every type of resistance? Or only the ones we can get from a Elemental Injection as well? For those injections for example don't got one with Physical Resistance in there.
Question; 2 (Ability, Resistance)
Another one again that I was wondering about, is if a creature you want to teach a resistance that it is for example at the adult stage in conflict with, could you teach it at a younger stage in which it doesn't have that ability?
The Glacier Lamadidron would be a perfect example of it as in the Baby/Juvenile stage it got Cold Immunity but at the Adult stage it becomes Ice Body which has a weakness to Fire and thus gets tangled up in the conflict of teaching it.
Would it therefore be possible to Anti-Growth the creature, and then let it learn Fire Resistance as a Juvenile for example?

You cannot teach physical resistance in this way, only elemental resistances.
It could learn the resistance, but the resistance and the ice body cancel each other out to become neutral.
