Alpha If the pet works in a group of the same species, and leads them quite a long while by working together(And that pet making most of the decisions).. Like making tactics to capture prey, or where water could be and leading the way for example, it might just be it could really be seen as a leader.. This requires hard work and this ability go's together with Pack Instincts(meaning you either have that ability already or can apply for it), although by some species and or breeds it is impossible to get.. And when the pet already has Lone Wolf it is impossible to let it learn Alpha.. ~Twilight
Aquatic No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Blind Why do you want to even train an creature to be blind? This ability of coarse can never be taught. If you're pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this already. ~By Baal and Twilight
Circuitry Problem No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Corroding Body No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Danger Sense No level requirement. Your pet should know Dodge beforehand. Suggested training: Simple put a blindfold on you're creature make sure it can't see anything, than trow stuff at you're pet and yell. "Danger Sense!" And hope it doesn't get hit.. You also need to try from time to time not to yell it and see if it reacts like it should do even without the word. ~ By Baal and Twilight
Desert-Dwelling No level requirement. Suggested training: Try going out and let it do physical activities (a little at first) in extremely hot weather. Remember to bring a -lot- of water for that, they will need it. ~ By Josieweirdo
Double-Headed The only requirement for this, is that a pet needs to have two heads, this of coarse can never be taught. ~Twilight
Electrical Body No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Empathetic Link Must have either a level loyalty of 50 and mentality need to be over the "0" or already have it as a special ability. Suggested training: If you're pet had been showing signs that it gave you a emotion that isn't of you're own, its likely that the pet is almost ready to get 'Empathetic Link' but since it only shows very little and at times you wouldn't expect to get such a feeling from you're pet.. The best thing would be to do, is playing a game not something like 'Mind reading' but more like 'Emotion reading'. Try and send you're pets you're deepest feelings, love, fear, sorrow.. Basically just about anything that is you're deepest feeling.. And also try to focus on you're pet if you get any feelings of him or her as a response.. It would be advise able, to get a Magical Ribbon of Telepathy to talk to them and let them try to send there deepest feelings to you.. Or if you have a better way for communicating with you're pet, try to do that than if you don't have a Magical Ribbon of Telepathy to make it go more smoother.. ~ By Twilight
Endurance No level requirement. Suggested training: Learn you're creature to walk for long periods at the time, and later do it with running a lot. You're creature would gradually get more endurance for it, but don't forget to give you're critter plenty of water after each time you run with him/her. ~ By Twilight
Enigmatic While it is impossible for a pet to learn the ability, those who have it are able to be taught a variety of spells. It is best to teach a pet (if you have a certain spell in mind) with either the right environment or circumstances and make them feel that they need to use their magic in order to deal with what is going on around them. For example a pet who isn't used to a cold environment might feel that either they can deal with it by lighting a piece of wood on fire, or have the magic inside of them coat their body in a invisible shield that warms them up and protects them from the cold. Once the pet succeeded the first time with using a spell, reward the pet and allow it to get back in the right mind set once the spell has ended, make them familiarize with how the spell feels when it is used and make sure that the intent on
why they felt that particular spell was needed is kept in mind. Eventually the pet knows how to use that particular part of magic, but then it still falls on you to teach the pet how to do it on command. Please note, teaching a pet a particular spell will cost you as many TP as you spend MP on for that spell, and a creature who has spent all it MP on magic spells can not learn new spells. Ethereal No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Flame Body No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Float No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Fly No level requirement. Your pet do need wings for this. Suggested training: (If it is an small sized one) Try trowing you're creature in the air and say fly, give it a nice reward when it is using its wings to fly.. (If it is an large sized one) Buy an catapult some food or an toy you're critter just loves to have and do anything for, put the food or toy on the string of the catapult, pull at it and aim for the sky's and yell. "Fly!" When letting go of the string. Hopefully the creature will take the sky's and go after its toy or food and will come back to do that again, gradually the creature will know what to do even without the catapult when yelled the word 'fly'. ~ By Twilight
Flutter No level requirement. Usual for pets with small wings who aren't in the baby stage. Suggested training: Small pets could be trowen in the air to let its wings flutter as hard as possible to stay airborne, say the command while trowing the critter in the air, and reward it quickly after a few minutes.. Let the critter than rest a little while, and try again later.. With bit bigger pets that you cant lift on you're own and trow in the air. Try hanging a string on a very big tree, and attach a treat or toy the creature likes while having the other end of the string in you're hand, so that the treat or toy now and than moves to get the attention of you're pet. Hopefully the critter will use its wings to flutter as hard as possible to the treat or toy when it sees it, and when it does say the command for it to.. ~ By Twilight
Forest Dweller No level requirement. Quite easy to do. Suggested training: Train you're pet in the Forest, and let it get used to the surroundings. Soon enough it will feel at home in there.. ~ By Shirogane
Glide No level requirement. Your pet do need wings or something similar for this. Suggested training: Let you're creature jump of a cliff (in the beginning on something lower though) and not letting it flap its wings by perhaps just showing them with you're own arms how they need to move and explaining it to them, they usually understand a bit on what you're trying to do. ~By Twilight
Hardy I would suggest your pet to be around level 7 or 8 when attempting to teach you're pet this. Suggested training: Try taking you're critter to environments that are by nature harsh, for example you could go taking it with you on a desert adventure.. and pushing it.. not so much that it dies, obviously.. but.. the desert, by nature.. IS harsh. ~ By Spirit and Twilight
Illness No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Intimidation No level requirement. Suggested training: For the more intelligent pets you could tell them to be scary and mean, show them pictures that are threatening and hope the pet will react to it by showing a bit more of its aggression side.. Or bring along a pet where you act scary on and the pet acts scared because of it, just so that you can show the other critter what it needs to do.. What also could work is mocking you're pet by making funny faces, sticking out you're tongue and keep going on till the critter acts a little scary, than praise it.. ~ By Shirogane
Invisibility No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Jungle Dweller No level requirement. Quite easy to do. Suggested training: Train you're pet in the Jungle, and let it get used to the surroundings. Soon enough it will feel at home in there.. ~ By Shirogane
Light Sensitivity No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Lone Wolf No level requirement. Suggested training: Train the critter for long periods at the time alone without others of its kind, or do some fun activity's with the critter. If all go well and it meets someone from its own kind, it will simple ignore it and go walk somewhere ells the other one isn't and just doesn't get along with its own kind.. If that all happens the critter learned to like being alone.. ~ By Twilight
Loosen Feathers/Fur No level requirement. Pet does need to have feathers or fur for this to work. Suggested training: First try going in a costume and put on some perfume on you're self to hide you're scent, than go to the pet and grab as fast a possible the paw to try and make the pet get nervous/frightened and sheds its feathers/fur some, reward it each time it does that successfully, and say it a couple times with you're voice only a bit different so that the pet wont recognize you.. Later on when the pet seems to do it successful each time, take of that costume and try a new perfume of some sort to mask the other scent, than try and do the same thing you did when you where in the costume, and when it successfully sheds it feathers/fur the critter learned it.. ~ By Twilight
Malleable Form No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Mechanical Mind No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Moist Skin No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Nightvision Try training you're creature at night a lot, with perhaps an obstacle course where they need to try and get faster every time not bumping into things, and just get used to the darkness from the night. ~ By Twilight
Pack Instincts Let you're pets who are from the same species work together without the owner in a group, a group can even be seen if it are just two pets working together like a pack to take down prey or that requires team work to do things. It should be known that teaching you're pets Pack Instincts can be hard, but what you get when you taught pets Pack Instinct before they would ever get Lone Wolf, it would cancel out Lone Wolf and keep Pack Instinct. But when the pet has already Lone Wolf it is impossible to let it learn Pack Instincts.. ~ By Twilight
Plains-Runner No level requirement. Should know 'run' already. Suggested training: Go out each day with you're creature to a large field or plain and let it run for a long time by saying that command, and reward it after a while when the pet is tired from running, each time you're pet could do it little by little longer and will gradually improve its speed till you can be sure its twice as fast now.. (This ability go's together with 'Endurance' if trained correctly, so you could apply for that one to.. See also the post 'Stats' for something extra in case you're interested in it..) ~ By Twilight
Poisonous Skin No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Run Have a candy or food in your hand and begin to run with it(must know 'come' first) Say the word come while you are slowly running. As the pet starts to follow you and pick up speed to get to the food and as it obey's you switch words from Come to, 'Run' ~ By Xia
Stone Skin I would suggest your pet to be around level 10 or 11 when attempting to teach you're pet this. Suggested training: The only way to teach something to be able to withstand a harsh situation, is to put it through harsh situations.. For example you could let you're critter ram rocks larger than it self with the whole body repeatedly, and try to make its body feel numb after so many times you're critter was needed to ram in it. ~ By Spirit and Twilight
Swim Put your pet in a shallow pool of water. And slowly draw it into the deeper water while saying the word, 'Swim.' As the pet begins to kick and move along the surface of the water give it priase and lots of treats once out. Then repeat until it swims without splashing to hard and almost gracefully. And knows to swim when you say the word. ~ By Xia
Thorny Body No need to train in this. If your pet has it, they have it and therefore, cannot be learned by pets who do not have this ability already. ~ By Baal
Uncontrollable Rage XXX No level requirement. This is not really something you want to teach a pet since it means abusing them in order to get it. Suggested training: Beat you're pet with the item you want them to hate (Or if you want them to hate a certain music, turn it on and beat the pet while it listens to the music, to try and get the critter to see a link with it), try changing costumes multiple times and also try wearing different perfumes in order to make sure it wont recognize you. Or if it is a certain spot on the body you want you're critter to become uncontrollable to, hit that each time to make it work.. Soon enough the critter should have learned it, when it cant take the pain anymore.. ~By Twilight
