[Danger Sense - 20]
As long as time went on smoothly, she didn't see any reason to continue with this training. Once or twice more she figured, but that was going to be it. Jack threw another stone at him and he scrambled out of the way again, though she knew he couldn't see anything beyond his blindfold. Throwing another one at him, she realized he had this down when he dodged further out of the way and then chirped at her angrily. He was done with this, and she didn't blame him. Jack took off his blindfold and gave him a few seeds for a job well done and then tried to figure out how to do this next training. It was going to be interesting, she had to give it that, and she didn't know what else to do at the moment. That was fine, they needed a rest for a little bit anyway while she thought about it.

[Loosen Feathers - 1]
Jack was pleased that her Jibiji was the quickest one around, nimble and brave as well! That being said, he still had a few things to learn, and she knew it. This one was going to be tricky, and she hoped that he would still have feathers at the end of training, but she figured he would, it was just a matter of time for him to understand this, of course. "Okay Tobi, let loose some feathers when I grab you!" she told him, knowing he wouldn't understand. She grabbed at the bird and carefully plucked a loose feather when she did so, to kind of show him what he was supposed to do. He squeaked a little at her and stared at the brown feather in her hand. Jack laughed and gave him a seed, hoping this would sink in and he would instinctively do it after awhile. It wouldn't be that hard, right?

[Loosen Feathers - 2]
This was weird, she knew that for a fact, if she saw anyone doing this to their animal, she would worry about the poor little thing. As it was, she now knew the importance of it, and so she grabbed at him again, once more pulling out a loose feather and showing it to him, shoving a seed at him at the same time. Tobi fluffed up his feathers and cocked his head a little, wondering what he was doing in order to earn a treat. It had something to do with his feather, he figured, but what was it? Jack saw the wheels turning in his head, and smiled a little, he would get it soon enough. Grabbing at him again, this time she plucked a feather that was in there rather firmly, though still a little loose. Tobi squawked and ruffled his feathers again, this time loosening a few of them on his own, for which he got a seed.

[Loosen Feathers - 3]
Tobi seemed pleasantly surprised when he got another seed for loosening up his feathers the way he did, even though they were already loose and simply fell out when he ruffled his feathers. Jack thought it was an improvement however, and grabbed at him again, surprising the little bird. Tobi chirped angrily and a feather came out in her hand before he ruffled up again and then worked to smooth his feathers down a little. She didn't want to give herself away, no animal would probably do that, though it was hard to sneak up on Tobi with his little ears. Grinning, she grabbed him again from behind and another feather came out in her hand, enough to make her hand slide off of him. "Good Tobi!" she told him, giving him a seed. It was difficult training passive things like this, things that didn't need a command, but that was fine, she would get it done.

[Loosen Feathers - 4]
Worrying the meat of the seed out of the casing, the little bird kept a wary eye on the woman. He wasn't entirely sure what the woman was trying to do, but he must be doing it well he figured with a suddenly pleased look on his face. While he didn't want to lose all of his feathers, he knew this would help if something grabbed him. They would only get a puff of feathers and not actually him! That was brilliant he discovered, and he waited again for her to grab him, and more feathers fell out, leaving her with a small handful of feathers as he flew off, chittering at her from the air. Jack laughed at him and gave him another seed. Most of the feathers were downy little things, but some were bigger feathers, and she didn't want to just discard them, what would she do with them?

[Loosen Feathers - 5]
One more test or so, she figured as she snatched at him again. He squawked with surprise and flew off, leaving more feathers in her hand, even though she'd been gripping him as tightly as she dared. Good! That meant most animals would have some issues with gripping him in their attacks, whether with their claws or their jaws. Jack smiled and gave him another seed, wondering what they would try next. She gathered up the bigger feathers (though they were really all quite small, he was a tiny bird after all), and put them in her bag for later, she would figure out something to do with them she was sure. Smiling, she patted on the post for Tobi to land, and land he did, remembering former training. Jack patted him on the head and gave him another seed as she waited there, trying to figure out what to train him next.

[Sweet Song - 1]
Next up, she knew he could sing to where he could put things to sleep, she at least got a little drowsy listening to Tobi from time to time. Jack smiled a little as he trilled to himself, and she gave him a seed, "Good sing, Tobi!" The little bird tilted his head a little and stared at her as he ate his seed, trying to figure out what he'd done right, that's the only time he got seeds like this when they were training. "Sing Tobi!" she told him, and smiled as he trilled in response. She gave him another seed, just to make sure he was going to associate the two after a bit, though the actual song would come later she figured, she wasn't sleepy just yet after all. She needed to catch him singing that song and then they'd be fine no matter what happened, she figured.

[Sweet Song - 2]
They waited for awhile, Jack encouraging him to sing a little, and sing he did for awhile, though it wasn't until she started feeling a little sleepy that she gave him a seed, "Good sing, Tobi!" Smiling at him, she watched as he worried the seed out of the shell and ate it, cracking it with his little beak. It was great, at least they'd gotten this far, and with how quickly he seemed to learn now, she didn't think there would be much issue with things at this point. Tobi tilted his head afterward and trilled a little, but when he didn't get a seed, he pouted a little. Giving a chuckle, she stroked him on the head and he let out his sleepy song again, for which she gave him a little seed. Tobi gobbled it down when the shell was off and realized, a little, what he was supposed to do, it seemed.

[Sweet Song - 3]
The song was lovely and made her tired, but she had to fight the effect of the song if she was going to train this to him, or at least for him to do it on command, he already knew how to do it. He tended to do it when she was tired, it helped with the nightmares. Jack tossed him another seed when he sang the song again, somewhat getting what he was supposed to be doing, "Good sing, Tobi!" She smiled at him a little bit and shook her head, unsure of what to do about things, but at least she had a nice idea of him getting it. After this training it was going to be back to the Gym for more training, this time in stamina once more, and she knew that was going to help him out no matter what. Jack smiled and patted him on the head, at least he was committed.

[Sweet Song - 4]
Jack waited for him to sing again and then tossed him another seed, "Good sing, Tobi!" Waiting for a bit, she gave the command, crossing her fingers behind her back as she said it, "Sing, Tobi!" The little bird chirped and then trilled his little song, the one that made her sleepy and helped her to sleep at night, without the nightmares. She grinned and tossed him another seed, wondering what was going to happen at the same time. Jack shook her head a little, she was getting to be a little much for herself again, she needed calming down, which was probably going to happen during the Gym training, she didn't want to get too cocky, that wasn't her, and bad things happened when she got cocky. At least her leg had been regenerated, she didn't think that would happen again at this point. Jack reached out and patted Tobi on the head for doing well so far.

[Sweet Song - 5]
Stretching out her shoulders, she gave the command again, "Sing Tobi!" Immediately he started singing his sleepy song, hoping to put her to sleep, even though he knew there was something different about this at this point. They were training, that meant she didn't want to fall asleep, yet she wanted him to sing his sleeping song. Jack smiled and tossed him a seed, and he could maybe see why this would be helpful in battle. He knew her idea of wanting to enter him into a tournament like the big Thundergug was at this point. That was fine, he was excited to try! "Sing, Tobi!" she told him again, and again he sprang into song and got a seed in return. He'd done well so far, and she wanted to hit up the Gym again before the day was out. They'd done the last of his dexterity training the day before, so it was only natural to go back to the next day, right?

It was about time to start training Luna finally, of which she was sure the Houluh would be grateful if she knew what was going on. Still though, she had things to do and the best place to start was at the beginning, she figured. "Luna!" Jack called to her, and she stood at attention, tongue lolling out of her mouth. She already answered to the woman, so maybe it would be best to train her with someone else... but she would worry about that later. "Very good Luna!" she told her, giving her a little chunk of kibble as a treat for doing so well. She needed to get distracted if she was going to do things though, she had to make sure this would sink in and she would be fine with anything at this point. Jack reached down and patted her soft fur as well for a job well done.

"Luna!" Jack called to her again when she had her back turned. The Houluh barked and turned around, looking at her with a wide open mouth, tongue still lolling out the side. Jack... might have to get that looked at, but for now she was fine. She chuckled a little and gave her another bit of kibble, sure that things were going to be easy for these first few things she was going to train the young female. But for now, she needed to just focus on this thing and that was all there was going to be. Maybe next time she would bring Tok with her as well, but she wasn't sure about that at the moment. Jack pushed her hair back and smiled a little, unsure of where to go for things, but she had a nice crisp list of things to train Luna in her pocket, this was on the list, and she couldn't wait to cross it out.

At least Luna was a sharp little Houluh, she had several back in the kennel to compare her to, and it seemed she clicked a little better with Jack than the others. Of course she had bought most of the others from other people, but that hadn't mattered too much to her at all, it just meant they were still loyal to their old owners than they were to her. That would change eventually though, that much she knew. "Luna!" she said again, loudly, as the Houluh turned her attention elsewhere. Her attention snapped back to the woman again as her named was called, and she barked again, something she would be trained for later on if they could get through the list a little bit at this point. Jack sighed a little and tossed her another piece of kibble, maybe she had bitten off more than she could chew with this, but she really didn't know at this point.

All Jack had to do was train her up and they would be good to go! Good to go for what though...? She frowned a little, she didn't know what was going on, something just told her this would be important. Smiling a little, she watched as Luna finally wandered off, sniffing for a place to settle down for a little bit, and she called her name again, "Luna!" The Houluh snapped to attention again, and the woman tossed her another piece of kibble, sure this would be enough, but she wanted to make sure things would work out just once more before she called it for the day and went on to something new. She didn't want to confuse her too much and all that, so things would be fine at the same time, she knew that she could handle it with no worries and all that, Jack just knew it would work out for them both.
