[Danger Sense - 5]
One by one, the rock pile dwindled as the training continued. Light made sure they all missed him, however, and the woman smiled, calling a break after a little while of training. She poured out some water and gave him a few treats for a job well done, ruffling the fur between his ears as he munched on them. Jack stared at the sky for a little while with a sigh. There was so much she was waiting on and she didn't know what to do right now. As she sat there, she pushed a hand through her hair and then frowned, she really didn't know what she should be doing right now, but training was definitely part of it. Firming up her resolve, she stood once more and got Light to look more determined after a little bit of cajoling on her part. It was going to be fine, she knew that everything would be alright.

"Good boy..." she murmured as she tied the blindfold around his eyes. It was time to try it out perfectly, though it would take awhile for him to get that way. Stifling a yawn, the woman stepped away again and started to throw rocks one at a time, with a great deal of pause in between them. Light wasn't trying all that hard, it seemed, or else he hadn't quite gotten it down before this happened. Jack sighed a little as another rock hit him on his side and she wished there was something she could do for him. Whatever, it didn't matter too much at the moment, she figured, and she threw another rock at him, this time he attempted to scramble out of the way in order to not get hit. It all made sense to her at the moment, try to get out of the way of the rock as it was thrown, it all made sense.

[Danger Sense - 7]
Jack tossed a rock into the air and caught it again as it came back down. Giving a little sigh, she threw it at the Houluh and smiled when he whimpered and scrambled out of the way. Good, he was starting to get it, though it would still take a little time in order to get things done, she knew. At least the next training would be a little easier, she figured, it was just acclimating him to scary animals, right? Jack smiled and patted him on the head when he wandered close to her, and he almost dodged out of the way but didn't quite make it. A chuckle escaped her and she hoped that everything would work out eventually, maybe one of these days she wouldn't worry about training too much at the moment and just... do whatever it was she could do at the moment, and all that.

It was always irritating training this, she had to admit it to herself, but it was so crucial if she was going to put them into the Pit eventually. To be truthful, she didn't think they would ever be in the Pit, but whatever, it didn't really matter right now, this was what she was going to train and she figured it only made sense in the long run somehow. Jack pushed her hair back and smiled before throwing another rock at the Houluh, who scrambled out of the way. He woofed something about hearing it, and his ears were perked up a little, as well as floppy ears could be perked. Nodding, she congratulated him and she hoped that everything was going to be alright in the end, and she smiled a little, figuring they were almost done. She had to up the difficulty a little at this point, however, and she glanced at the rocks.

[Danger Sense - 9]
The rocks were picked up, multiple rocks this time, and they were all launched at the Houluh. Light yelped when he heard the whistling of all of them and scrambled as far to the side as he could without running into anything. Jack smiled when they all missed, and she wondered if they should just stop here or keep going. It wouldn't work that much at this point, and the woman frowned a little at the same time. Just one last time she figured, and the woman frowned a little, she might give Light a little bit of a break before the next training, she felt she needed a small break just to gather her own thoughts, but that wasn't going to go well either. Oh well, Jack picked up another group of rocks and figured she would do it a couple more times, and the woman threw them at him, nodding when they all missed due to him moving.

Here we go, she figured as she caught a few rocks she tossed into the air. The woman smiled a little and then threw them at the Houluh, giving a silent cheer whenever he managed to dodge all of them through the blindfold. She knew he couldn't see a thing, so that was a plus even for her at the moment. Nodding, she walked over and pulled the blindfold off, getting a lick in return. She was pleased with his progress, and while there was still something else to do, at least this could be done with at the moment. Jack pushed her hair back and sighed a little, she would need Kro for the next one, she knew, but that was going to wait a little while, let Light get his bearings again and then they could start on the next thing. It was going to be alright, she knew it would.

Kro thumped along toward the training area Jack had set up. Sure she could summon him with the bracelet she wore, but she wanted to give Light a little time to settle down before this next training. Smiling, she waved to the big Thundergug as he approached the area, and Light yelped and hid behind her once he came into view. She couldn't really blame him, the Gug was huge, bigger than the rest, and he was an impressive specimen. Once a Forest Thundergug, he was now customized thanks to a special brew from Alura, and she hoped that it would go well for the pup at the moment. Kro snorted and started to graze, the grass was starting to get a little long anyway, might as well use him for more than one thing, she figured as she patted Light on the head, trying to calm him down a little.

Jack loved her Thundergug, and hoped that she would love the others as well as him at some point. That might be hard though, with all of the work she had put into him. At the same time, Light was getting there, as were the rest of her Houluh, and she wondered what she needed to do at the moment. Jack pushed her hair back and then rubbed Light's head as he peered around her legs at the Gug, wondering what was going on. He was terrified of him at the moment, and he knew that things needed to be better than that right now. Without a doubt, the woman knew what had to be done, and that was getting him used to things that were scary, especially to the Gug, who was the most threatening animal she had right now. It was hard to believe, but he was, he was an impressive specimen.

Light quivered behind the woman's legs for a little while, trying to pick up the bravery in order to face the Thundergug himself, around the woman's legs. It was hard though, the Gug was so terrifying. It took a bit, however, and the Houluh stiff leggedly walked around her before ducking back behind her again. He breathed deeply, there wasn't anything to be scared of, of course, and the woman was sure he was getting it. She smiled and rubbed his back, whispering sweet, encouraging words to him as he stood there, wondering what could possibly go wrong. He could be trampled, of course, but other than that, what? The Gug swung his head around to him and snorted, and Light hid his eyes behind his ears, wondering what he should do. Jack smiled a little, he was resilient, of course, but not quite hardy enough not to be scared by something like Kro.

Light honestly wasn't quivering anymore behind the woman's legs. This was a good start, and she smiled when he peered around her legs again and snorted back at the Thundergug. She wasn't sure if this would be enough, in fact, it probably wouldn't, but at the same time it was all good. The woman patted him on the head and he finally came out from behind her legs and sniffed at the ground. He was getting braver and bolder, and she knew it was only a matter of time before he wandered over to the Gug and said hello. It wouldn't take too much longer, if push came to shove, and she smiled a little as she thought about it. It was all good, the Houluh pup was training rather well when it all came down to it, and she couldn't be happier. Still though, just a little more push and then things would be perfect. Light sniffed around, a little stiff legged, but that would reduce in time.

Light stood in front of the Thundergug after a little while, shivering in every limb, but facing his fears. The Houluh pup snorted at the Thundergug, warranting a snort in response. Light twitched but stood his ground until he stopped shaking and woofed at the Thundergug before trotting back to the woman and licking her hand. Jack knelt down and hugged him around his neck for a bit before kissing the top of his head and smiling at him. She was pleased with his progress, and knew that things would only get better from now on. Of course she had a lot of Houluh to work with still, but that would be fine all the same. Honestly it was good for her to be working with her animals, but at the moment, she had to focus on the here and now. Jack rubbed his head one more time before dismissing her giant Thundergug and headed off with Light.

Time to train the little pup, she figured with a bit of a smile. Jack ran her hand down the puppy's back and then tilted her head up a little so they were looking at each other, "Moonbeam!" The pup yipped a little and pulled her head away, not used to being handled like that, but she got a treat anyway for kind of acknowledging her name in a weird way. Jack smiled a little as she fed it to her. She was Snow and Selene's daughter, and she would definitely treat her well she knew. Jack just hoped that things would go well during their training and all that, things were going to be fine right now, but she had to keep things going unfortunately. Whatever, Moonbeam would learn just fine, and she couldn't see her as a fighter, but for now they would stick with the cute things at least.

She supposed it didn't really matter in the long run if she trained this to the Houluh pup, it wasn't like she was going to get rid of her or anything, but she knew it was important for other people to be able to talk to her at that point. "Moonbeam!" she said with a smile, feeding her a treat when she said her name. It was the easiest way to get her attention, but she was a sweetheart and the woman knew she would learn quickly at the same time. She had to ignore the feeling in her gut that something would go wrong though, she knew everything would be fine in the end of it all. Moonbeam looked at her happily as she munched on the treat and wondered what the point was, why was she getting treats for things like this anyway? Oh well, she would figure it out sooner or later.

Jack smiled at the little Houluh pup and patted her on the head, "Moonbeam!" The little puppy looked around before staring up at her, wondering what the big deal was when she got a treat for doing a job well done. Things were going well for them at the moment, and the woman knew it was only going to get worse as time went on. She didn't know how this was going to go in the future, but at least little Moonbeam was a sweetheart, it would be easy for her to learn a few things, she figured with a little smile on her face. Jack slipped her another treat and then patted her on the head, unsure of where to go from here, but knowing she had a list in her pocket to work with her a little bit. She wasn't sure about breeding in the future, but that was fine as well.

All was going well, but she was struggling to get the puppy's name out every time. Maybe she should have shortened it, but... it was too late now, she was already beginning to respond to her name and she didn't want to confuse her too much since she was so young. "Moonbeam!" Jack said happily, giving her a treat when the puppy looked over at her and yipped. Moonbeam was happy to get the treat and figured she knew why this was happening, she was learning something! What it was, she wasn't entirely sure, but that was alright at the same time she figured with a little smile on her face. Jack was happy when she saw the puppy prancing around, pleased she had learned something well enough for the woman to be happy, and she hoped that she would stay as sweet and kind as she was now as she grew up.
