Not that she really plans to leave them behind, a thing that is pretty impossible when they both can see what the other is doing while the link is open, but she didn’t want them to keep digging in what is likely an empty tunnel anyway. She didn’t see a critter trying to run out of it, or some object stuck in the ground, and Solis seems to be adept at digging that hole into a bigger one in such a short amount of time. A small soft bark, and she hears them leaving behind the hole, and following after her. She tries her best in going through the most open parts of the shrubbery so that Solis is able to follow her while keeping a lookout towards anything that might be of interest. She’s certainly seeing some interesting types of flowers growing here, even one that seems to be a mix of ivy for how it clings to a tree trunk and snowbells for how delicate the white flowers look.

Something that doesn’t seem to interest Solis much, if the pulling of their lip up in an almost sneer like fashion is any indication of how much they are interested in it. It gets to the point that the next thing she sees, a red flower with purple edges on the petals and dark green leaves, and Solis repeats the action. She sends a flash of irritation to them, a sense of displeasure right after, makes them freeze and lower their head, looking away from the flower. Sighing, she turns towards them and motions with her hand to have him come closer, getting a sense of confusion back from the pseudo wolf as she repeats the motion until they start stepping closer to her. Sending them a jolt of happiness through the mental link between them, perking up, Solis walks closer while wagging their tail slowly. “Just try to enjoy the sights while you can Sol’, the seasons seem to change so quickly here.”

She murmurs softly into their ear, feeling the ear flick against her nose with that action, chuckling, she ruffles the fur on top of their head and moves again. “I’m certain if we look just hard enough, we might be able to find something we could take along with us.” Though if that something is bigger then the backpack she is carrying, it might be a tiny bit more problematic if the next thing she has to carry in her arms is going to be just as big. “And even if we don’t, if you work hard, then I’ll give you some meat treats. There should be a packet of them in my backpack.” She’s just not certain yet with which zipper that would be. A soft bark and tail wag later, Solis is walking in front of her, and concentrating at anything that isn’t the green of vegetation nor brown, the color of dirt.

Smiling, she walks behind Solis, allowing the pseudo wolf to clear the path somewhat by having all those branches from the bushes pushed aside whenever they go through one, and while Solis focuses at the front, she takes her time at the sides. Pushing aside some of the thick vegetation whenever she thinks she sees something that might not be a flower. But she hasn’t spotted much of anything. Sure, she does note small footprints of small critters in the dirt, chewed on leaves or grass, but nothing that looks recent. Focusing on Solis hearing, she doesn’t hear the chittering of small creatures now either. “Probably ran away after hearing us..” She murmurs to herself, than blinks. “But we weren’t that loud.” Maybe they just went in the wrong direction she supposes. Nothing much to do about that. She was distracted enough by her thoughts that she had stopped for a moment while Solis continued on further, making it that when she started walking again, she had to push the branches away from her legs and tights on her own.

Solis gave a short bark all of a sudden, and she could see from the pseudo wolf’s point of view as they ducked their head under one of the bushes that something grey was laying in the dirt. No wait, not completely grey. Quickening her pace to get closer to the pseudo wolf she says. “Solis walk a bit more please?” as she pushes at their butt, wanting them to move just a bit further. The egg isn’t right in front of Solis, so them stepping on it is rather unlikely. She hears them huff slightly as they walk far enough that she could reach the bush Solis noticed the egg laying there. Crouching down she sees it. An egg under the bush with no bright coloring as most of the flowers she has seen here has, and yet, Solis noticed it. She grins as she reaches for the egg.

Just as she is about to touch it, she feels Solis send a strange mixture of curiousness, intrigue and something she couldn’t quite identify. It felt like they didn’t know why she wanted to get that egg? As well as what the reason for it might be? She wasn’t really certain what she should send back to him, and if it satisfies some of the urges she can at least identify from them. Grabbing the egg and dragging it close to her chest, she moves away from the bush, just enough to have some space again to stand up and look at Solis. “You did great Solis, a great find!” She says enthusiastically, as she shows it to them. Not finding it as strange to see herself from their point of few as it was months ago. Solis moves a little closer to her when they see that she has accomplished what she wanted to grab, sniffing at the egg in contemplation.

“This isn’t of course the only thing we need could find here.” She says as Solis continues to inspect the egg, making her wonder once more what interesting scents they are picking up from the egg. “Lets head that way now Sol’,” She points to an area that seems to be at least less filled with vegetation compared to where they are standing right now, sure, it still seems to be filled with trees that have that bright fresh new look on their leaves, but the branches aren’t too low hanging that it would be an annoyance to her. Pocketing the egg in her trench coat for now, she carefully directs Solis to follow after her as best as she can by saying he could get a meat treat from her, repeating the word often enough when they start to lose interest in it. She feels like cursing herself for having put the treats in her backpack, she should have just added it into one of the pockets on her trench coat.

At least than she could give the treat immediately after having done such a good job of at least finding something. She certainly hadn’t found anything particular noteworthy. Unless it is the flowers, she could easily pick quite a few of it, enough to make a bouquet of it for her living room. But that still wouldn’t be something she’d call note worthy to keep for long. Pushing the last branch aside from the small clearing felt like she finally had some more breathing room. Sure, there are still plenty of trees in the way, but not she can finally drop her backpack, crouch down near it, And open the largest zipper to take deposit the egg in it from her trench coat. A likely much safer option compared to before. Closing the sipper, she opens another different one and rummages through it. Smiling when she finds the packet of treats. “Solis, come get some?” She’s certain they have seen the meat treats from her point of view as she feels them come closer to her, and nudge at her shoulder.

“Here.” She takes out a couple of treats from the packet, turning just enough so that Solis can take the treats, smiling when the pseudo wolf gentle takes them into their mouth, and chewing on it quickly. For all that her companion is rather big and tough looking, Solis can be gentle too. She’s still learning of their facets. Pocketing the packet of meat treats in her trench coat, she closes the zipper and slings the bag gently on her back. Being carefully not to suddenly crush the egg they only found a few minutes ago just now. “Let’s look for more interesting objects Solis.” Or creatures she supposes, but she isn’t counting on it too much, Solis doesn’t seem to pay to much attention to it, and if she doesn’t use the link to hear what they do, then she wouldn’t either. Which makes looking for interesting objects the more likely thing that they could find, its stationary and less likely to walk away from them as they near it.

As the small clearing is free from the bushes, and the trees only occasionally have low hanging branches here, she inspects the vegetation carefully, looking and moving asides leaves to see if there might be something stuck in it, but she wasn’t all that lucky. She didn’t find anything of interest on her own, but.. “Solis?” Paying attention to what Solis is doing, she sees through their eyes something hanging high up in one of the branches still closest to the tree trunk, she sees something blue. It was just angled in a way that she wouldn’t have really spotted it at first when entering the clearing. Looking in Solis direction from her own point of view makes it easier to see which tree they are looking at. “Good job Solis!” She calls out, coming towards them and stroking their shoulder, feeling the touch like someone else does it to her too.

With a small huff, Solis looks away from both the tree and her. She grins when focusing on their mental link, she can feel a slight bit of pride and embarrassment coming from Solis, even if their face doesn't quite look like they are feeling that way. One particular emotion that she can sense is something she most certainly approve of when it comes to the pride part. Solis was able to find two things before her after all, that’s certainly something to be feeling accomplished for. “Stay here okay.” She murmurs, even if she knows Solis doesn’t know yet what she means with it, getting the meaning across somewhat through emotions such as happiness and anger for not being listened too when Solis moves certainly helps. Taking her backpack off her back, and placing it near Solis to guard over. She comes close to the tree that the blue object seems be stuck in, and starts carefully with climbing on its trunk, using the branches growing out of it as her handlebars and places to rest her foot on and push farther up.

“Almost there now.” She murmurs to herself as she reaches the final branch that brings her closest to her target, puffing out small breaths through her mouth from the exertion of getting those few meters up in the tree. She should really try climbing more, its not something she does often enough, not with feeling more tired from this compared to searching the terrain for what might be half an hour now? She isn’t certain how long they took from the gates of the mansion to this point, but it certainly wasn’t fifteen minutes. “Just a little more.” She tells herself as she reaches out to what is apparently a blue lantern, something she had owned previously before having traded it away. An pink one from what she can remember. Grabbing the strings, she carefully tugs at it, pausing just for a moment as she hears Solis growl at something, or at her perhaps? She can’t quite focus on them right now though.
