Why did people follow the rules and laws so easily around here? It could be entirely lawless if people wanted, but most people simply went about their business happily, a little oblivious to the fact that they could undermine the economy and things like that. Shaking her head, she didn’t know what to do about things at the moment, but that was fine she figured as she peered into the bag with her Houluh. What was she going to do about things at the moment and all that? It was going to be fine she knew, and the woman was pleased to know that he was still sleeping. She wondered if she could just raid all of the stores and be done with it? But that wasn’t going to work out she knew, she couldn’t just… do that to all the shopkeepers, as much as she might want some of the stuff for free.

All she really had to do was take Kro out and she would be able to do most of what she wanted in the Labs, but for now… that wasn’t going to happen, she had too much respect for people than that. Not everyone did though, so that made her wonder why everyone followed the rules. It confused her, not necessarily in a bad way though, but that was fine at the same time. Jack smiled down at the little pup in the bag, he was bigger than most and he was a little prissy and all that, but he wondered what was going to happen at the same time. Hopefully she would figure out what to do with him, but until then she would just have to roll with him and his behaviors. Maybe things would work out between them eventually whenever she worked with him. Jack smiled a little, what was she going to do anyway with him?

The pup twitched in his sleep as he slept in her bag. She didn’t know what to do at the moment, but that was going to be her problem and all that. Jack wasn’t sure what to do at the moment no matter what, but at least she had the Mansion to keep her company even though Kanellos wasn’t at the moment. He was still sleeping and all that, but at least he was in one spot and not running around or aggressive like Snow had been before he’d grown up a little bit. Puppies were a little more aggressive than adults sometimes though she had figured out, and the woman smiled a little at the thought. She had plenty of scars and marks from her animals, and some of the pups had done that to her as well. At least it gave her something to do, though she wasn’t sure what all she needed to do with it, unfortunately.

As she sat there, Kanellos sleeping in her bag, her reclining in the chair, she realized her eyelids were getting a little heavy. It would be a decent idea to sleep for a little while, wouldn’t it? She grinned a little at herself, she knew that things were going to have to happen and everything, and she wasn’t sure how to do it, but at least she knew she could get a nap in for now. Maybe after a little nap for both her and the Houluh, they would be better equipped to deal with the Mansion for a little while longer. Hopefully things would be fine no matter what, and she was sure that things were going to happen no matter what happened around her. She would probably wake up and be in another room entirely, which worked out well enough for her at the same time. Hopefully she needed to figure things out.

As she laid there on the chair, tired as the Houluh in her bag, she wondered what she would do if she couldn't find anything in the Mansion during this trip. It might serve her right, she really didn't know, but at the same time, she hoped that she did find something good. At least the roses, the little glass roses, those were nice and she hoped she could find some more of those to decorate the house with for the month. Smiling a little, she closed her eyes, one hand on Kanellos in the bag, and she hoped that things would work out in the end of it all no matter what. As she drifted off to sleep, she hoped that things would work out for them, though she wouldn't be surprised if she didn't get along with the prissy little puppy, much to her resignation. Whatever happened, would happen, and that would be alright.

All she really had to do was train him up a little. She was sure he wouldn't like it, but that would be her problem later on she figured. Sighing a bit in her sleep, she put pressure on her other hip by turning a little in the reclined chair. It didn't feel too good the way she had been, so she had changed it so she wouldn't get hurt in her sleep. This was what she did in the Mansion it seemed, she slept a lot, which wasn't a bad thing, but it meant she wasn't going to find anything until she woke up. Kanellos stirred and her eyes drifted open a few times before they closed again since he stopped moving, just the steady rhythm of his breath kept her sleeping for now. Smiling in her sleep, she dreamed about the Houluh winning a show in the future, though they hadn't been started just yet. They had no chance as of yet, however.

Nothing was going to happen while they were asleep, nothing would be found, nothing bad would happen, she was sure of it. However, that didn't matter at the moment, because she really didn't care when she slept. It was alright, nothing bad would happen in the meantime, but still, most people were a little superstitious at least, which was bad for business when she tried to trade things at the same time. Jack chewed on her lip in her sleep and hoped that things would turn out well. With her hand still on Kanellos in her bag, she hoped that things would work out for the two of them at some point. At least her bag could hold whatever they came across, unless they came across a lot of things at this point. That seemed rather unlikely, however, and she smiled a little at the thought while she dozed in the depths of the Mansion.

All she could do at the moment was sleep, and it seemed like Kanellos was pretty happy with that as well. He really was a pretty calm pup until he got dirty, and then he had some issues, but she wondered what would happen if she tried to keep him as clean as possible, would he actually help her out with things then? What could she put him to use as at that point? Maybe a guard dog or something, but she was sure he wouldn't handle blood well if he couldn't handle mud or snow very well either. At least the snow was starting to melt, which meant her Park space was going to be muddy... Maybe it would be best to try it out when there was fresh snow on the ground, he could handle a little water a least, or at least, she hoped he could at this point...

Nothing bad would happen, she would get him used to being dirty eventually, but it would happen in small doses, she figured as she curled her fingers through some of the pup's short fur. It was too bad they weren't longer furred, they were the best at cuddling, but rumor had it some of the pups could pass down longer fur whenever they did a few things, courtesy of the goddess of order they were aligned to. Jack needed to look into that a little bit more, she was looking for an order node after all, and she wasn't sure who she needed to look to for help in getting the crystals. If she could have some kind of divine intervention, then things would be great, as long as it worked and she wasn't deemed selfish for wanting that kind of help. She probably would though, that was her kind of luck it seemed.

Heathen was just that, a little heathen sometimes. If he was a person, he would be a delinquent. He believed he knew everything already and that’s how it was supposed to be, it wouldn’t work out no matter what, but Jack didn’t care too much she thought with a frown as they stood in front of the Mansion. It was interesting, it was the beginning of spring and she thought it would end well for her this time, only she didn’t know what she was getting into, apparently. Heathen pulled at the leash she had hooked to his collar and she sighed a little before pulling him gently back until he stood next to her. Training him was going to be a mess, she knew, but oh well, she knew that this was just part of the deal with things right now, and all would be fine in the end of it all.

Whatever happened though, she just wanted to get him a little experience before she trained him up a bit, and she smiled a little as she thought of it. He would give her some nice pups she figured, given his markings, but hopefully she could find someone who would be willing to breed with him after he was grown. He really did look nice, it was just his attitude that needed a little adjusting. Jack sighed a bit and shook her head, hoping that she wasn’t going to overplay his personality, but if she bred him to one of Morgan’s Houluh, they would probably understand a little bit. Hopefully all would go well with them, but there wasn’t a guarantee for that either. Shaking her head, she opened the gate to the Mansion and strode in, seeing nothing but, well, spring. It was a dismal day, however, it was raining and thundering a little off in the distance. She liked it no matter what.

Heathen just wouldn’t stop pulling on the leash, he wanted in there to explore for a little while, and Jack frowned at him, yanking him back as easily as she could without hurting him. It would really work better if she used one of those front hook harnesses she gave out to the Guild members as well, maybe next time she would use one and give it a go. At least then she would be able to tell them the truth if they asked her if it worked well, right? Jack shook her head a little and stepped onto the bright green grass with a little smile on her face. There were things hopping around the Mansion from time to time, a few little chicks, baby birds in fact, were singing off key in the distance. The rain didn’t look like it was hitting anything around the Mansion, and she wondered if the magic had something to do with it at this point.

It was like he was resistant to change as well, Heathen was. She had tried to train him a little bit, but without a little worldly experience it had fallen on deaf ears. If he didn’t perk up a little whenever she talked to him, she would think he really was deaf or something, but that wasn’t the case at all. He just didn’t want to hear what she had to say. Typical, she thought with a little chuckle as she thought about it, but that wasn’t the deal with it at the moment, she figured. At least now she had some idea of what to do with him, even though it wasn’t a whole lot, she knew. She just had to get him used to her and then train him up, she thought with a smile, and the woman shook her head a little, trying to figure out what she needed to do to get him going at this point. Hopefully something would pop up that he enjoyed, though she wasn’t going to hold her breath over it at this point...
