The two lamadidron were certainly shiny; he'd been sure to feed them carefully of course, so that they would be in peak condition for a sale or two eventually. He really hoped that the individual would buy both again; perhaps they were going to do breedings in the future? He wasn't going to implore about that of course, it was really none of his business. The Lamadidron took the the pat quite well, from each of the individuals, one even nuzzling into the hand of the new female; searching for a rocky treat of some kind he was sure. "Yes, certainly. I made sure that they got the correct minerals needed; it's important for their health." He nods towards the luster lamadidron. "The luster eats precious stones, very costly. The peacock ore will take semi-precious ones; much cheaper."
These lamadidron had been here for a while, he'd be glad to see them go; especially to an experienced beast master. One that had other lamadidron was a great happenstance; these two would do well there. He tried to find good homes for the creatures when he could, even though money was indeed money after all.

She laughed a little when she felt the Peacock Ore try to nuzzle her hand unexpectedly, and at first she pulled away on instinct as she wasn't sure what it was planning, but when she slowly brought her hand back, it seems like it only wanted some more pets on the head when after some snuffling didn't yield the treats it perhaps desired of her. "And the semi-precious ones are the Garnets and Jasper gems I'm guessing?" She asks while scratching the Peacock under the chin when it indicated to wanting to be scratched there the most.
"I'd like to buy both of them though, can't imagine leaving without them joining me in the end." She commented cheerfully as she paid some attention to the Luster as well when it started to get closer to her, patting its head too before it might get jealous about the attention the Peacock ore is getting from her.
"Do you happen to have any special Estharne for sale as well? I don't mean special as in the offspring's or custom made ones though, lovely as they are. I couldn't seen to read the notes quite so well on the beginning part of the page, and what it actually meant, so I figure I'd better ask about it." All that was said on a cheerful tone as she handed back the notes to him, having skimmed through it one last time when she was finished petting the Lamadidron's to be sure that everything she wanted has caught her eyes, which certainly was almost everything, it would have been just that much more expensive should she continue past one more. Better to just leave the others for a next time when she has the money to spend, and wasn't able to capture them on her own.
Mavrik scratches behind an old grizzled ear for a moment while he thinks. "I'd believe so; any gems in that category should do fine I'm sure." He knew that the two lamadidron would require nearly a fortune to feed; but since the mines were so commonly used he was sure that it would be easy enough to find lamadidron-grade gems either way. The customer did seem very good with creatures, with how fast the lamadidron seemed to take to her. "I'll make sure to put them on the list then!" He files away that these two would also be going with her when the sale completed. "Ah, estharne?" But not customs or offspring... He did have plenty of estharne it felt like. "We have a kitten, a cheshire." The cheshire hadn't seemed too popular, perhaps because of it's colors, since that seemed to be a huge part of what made beast tamers choose creatures in his experience. He wondered if the customer would be interested in the kitten. "We keep it over here; though it regularly escapes the enclosure..." He knew it had to be just something that the creature did naturally, though he wasn't sure how quite yet. He beckons for her to follow, and moves over to where he kept the cheshire. Luckily; it was still in the enclosure at the moment. He could almost give a sigh of relief.

Flashing a smile at the Lamadidron's extending her hand to pet the Luster and Peacock Ore just one final time when they where extending their heads towards her again. "Thanks for showing them to me, I already feel like I can fall in love with their easy nature. And it should then be well into my budged of feeding them, especially when I anti-growth one of you two." She commented to the Lamadidron's who didn't really respond to the last throw away sentence she said, not that she expected it.
"Yep, I'm interested in that species, I've raised a lot of Mosca already but I wanted to extend my knowledge a bit more about the felines by trying to raise another kind." She commented while following him to a set of cages where a lot of special Estharne are located, one of them she could easily recognize as a Forge breed for its red coloration, she felt rather surprised by that, those tended to be handy to have if you wanted to create something out of metal, their fire expertise would make them great companions for it.
But that one she wasn't nearly so interested in compared to the breed he just said. "A Cheshire you say? I think I remember they were called that way because of a certain story where a cat could turn invisible right?" She didn't remember the title of the book, but she had read it once upon a time. Taking a closer look at the cages she didn't immediately spot the small kitten until after a few moments of scrutinizing the what appears to be almost empty cage next to the other two Estharne she finally sees a tail without a body flicking in contentment. "I think I see it now, the coat color looks quite good from what I can tell, a nice shade of light orange." She said cheerfully, but didn't try to extend her hand through the cage bars, as she couldn't see if it disliked the attention she is already giving it by just looking, or if it wouldn't mind.
A moment later the Cheshire seems to go fully visible, laying curled up with one eye open and aimed in their direction, purring softly in enticement. She grinned at that, knowing with Mosca's that could just as well be either a trap to lure in unsuspecting prey, or really just waiting for a cuddle. "I'd like to buy this one as well, this should be my final creature. Any more, and I might just get broke when I need to keep in mind how much they need to be fed as well." She says lightly as she faces the fox mammalian.
"I think I also forgot to introduce myself when I entered your store. It might be a bit belated but I'm Twilight, its nice to you sir." And extended her right hand to shake it with him, blushing a bit in embarrassment for forgetting to introduce herself when she wanted to say his name, but didn't quite remember what it was until she remembers she never even asked about it or gave her own.
The mind is a double edged sword, it has immense Power, capable of accomplishing both useful and destructive feats.
The lamadidron would certainly do well with where they are going it seems, or so he thinks. Then he nods. "They are simpler creatures than most. People tend to overlook the simpler creatures often for the more... dangerous ones." All creatures were dangerous in their own way, but some were decidedly worse that others, that was certain. He nods to her a little absentmindedly at first before bringing his full attention back to the customer from the creatures. "Mosca, huh. Estharne can be a little more nippy." He honestly wasn't sure if the cheshire was ever going to grow; it hadn't grown even a little since he had come into possession of it. He'd nearly forgotten about the forge estharne, he could have offered that one instead; but the cheshire was a little more trouble than the forge anyway. "Sometimes the cheshire is a bit difficult to find, it likes to play the escape artist." At least that was what it seemed like often enough.
He was perhaps a bit surprised to hear her state that the orange was nice; but he was glad that so far it sounded like yet another sale. He was already tallying the amount up in his head; it was a goodly amount. Beast tamers often had to be quite moneyed in order to feed their beasts. Sometimes he had no idea how they earned all of that creditage; and this one was certainly moneyed! "So, the two custom equillion, two offspring malii, two special lamadidron, and a special estharne... That's 1,700 credits altogether." He states, happily. He watches the customer's face carefully. This was normally the tricky part, after all.
Ah; some customers never introduced themselves, and that didn't bother him one bit! He normally just followed the lead with whatever customers felt comfortable with. "Nice to meet you, Twilight. I'm Mavrik." He offers a clawed and padded hand to shake, certainly older but surprisingly strong. That did usually make customers a little more pliable; not that today had really required it thusfar due to the purposefulness of the customer in question. It was almost like she knew about the species of creatures she might be looking for already, if he'd had them of course.

She smiled at what he said about them being simple creatures, they certainly looked the part, but perhaps when she has truly started raising and training them they might not be all that simple at all, only time would tell. So she merely nodded when he was finished speaking about the Lamadidron's, and turned her attention more towards the Estharne comments.
"I'll find out about it in duo time I expect, more so when the little Cheshire feels at home in my kennel." She smiled soft at the now visible Estharne, still playing the rather innocent kitten looking for a cuddle. She is starting to feel more certain that if that is true, the kitten would have actually come closer to the bars and rubbed itself against it for those scratches on the back or head.
Listening to the number of creatures she bought, she was just glad to not have asked about any of the mining creatures she saw in the notes or the price would have been even higher than that. Taking his clawed and padded hand into her own she shook firmly before gently letting go, a soft smile is plastered on her lips."I hope I wasn't rude about it, seeing all these creatures.. they were apparently enough of a distraction to me that I went right into business mode." A slight blush could be seen on her cheeks when she admitted that.
Taking another small moment to glance at the Estharne she said on a uncertain tone. "That is certainly a high price, is it possible for it to be lowered somewhat? I'm sure now that I have been here before, that at some point I will come back and buy a couple more creatures that are to my liking. And that will make it possible for you to save more money in the end on all of their food." She tried to suggest and looked in Mavrik's direction once more gauging how he would react to it, and hoping he would react positive to it, the money she saved from that she would be able to use instead for transportation cost that Travel with Waffles would be asking for no doubt.
The mind is a double edged sword, it has immense Power, capable of accomplishing both useful and destructive feats.
Mavrik does know that he'll be making a decent cut of profit today regardless of whether or not he got the full amount, so he wasn't too worried about it. He waits for a moment and then thinks about how much of a cut he could possibly make that would make the customer more inclined to return in the future, and still cut a decent profit. She was right; it was helping him that he didn't need to feed so many creatures anymore; especially the two equillion and the lamadidron. "Well, I can go down a small percentage; since you have bought in bulk." That made it a lot easier on him, of course; he preferred it that way. "The absolute lowest I can go is 1,530 credits." That was certainly true; he couldn't go much lower without cutting into the food budget for some of his other costly critters (especially the various wiurn...) He hoped that she could accept that price; he didn't want to lose a sale and thus still have to feed some of these...
He gruffs out an only semi-polite noise; half a sneeze. He'd felt that one coming. "It's fine, don't worry about it." He hadn't introduced himself either, at first. Then again he'd also been doing something at the moment as well; he'd completely forgotten that he'd been feeding critters before this. He'd have time to continue that later, after the dealings were complete.

She felt her shoulders loosening somewhat from the hidden tension she didn't know had crept upon her at hearing the final price. Seems she was very lucky to go for buying them all in bulk, and that he is so easy going with it. Not to mention, after hearing how much the price went down, she felt rather grateful about that, a hundred seventeen credits off the price is nothing to sneeze at.
"Thank you so much, that price is perfect." She exclaims in joy, and tucks her hand in one of the pockets of her trench-coat, taking out two coin bags. "The first one should have a thousand credits in it, just need to take out almost half from the other." She says while giving him one of the bags, but keeping the other for the moment.
"Is there a desk I could start counting on for the other? I mean, I could do it on the ground but kneeling down can be pretty tiring if I also need to hunt down the coins that might have rolled away farther from me, or keep a eye on making sure none of the creatures might try to grab something shiny as I know some species might be more inclined for it than others." The tone of her voice might have gone a little softer as she didn't want to seem like she didn't want to give the rest of the money, but was still loud enough to hear for him as she waved at the floor.
Then eyes the Estharne as well, wondering if one of them might as well be inclined to play with coins should one roll in their cage.
The mind is a double edged sword, it has immense Power, capable of accomplishing both useful and destructive feats.
The visible loosening of the body language that he could see in the customer was certainly good; that meant that she probably wouldn't try to haggle him down further. He didn't want to make a big deal of it, not really. He grins good-naturedly as she pulls out the coin bags, and after he next comment he leads her over to a more frontward counter, that way she could count more easily. "Yes, right over here should do." He figured anyway, away from the creatures just in case. He hadn't had any snatch any coins recently; but it was certainly possible. He didn't really mind about her verbosity, he was really just relieved that a deal had been made and that he'd have about seven less creatures to worry about after today. He'd like to get down on his stock a little bit so that he could get more stock in here again at some point. Business was different as of recently.

Following after him she watches the creatures still in cages and without, that are just frolicking in the shop itself. While some of them might look a bit bored to be here from the few that she sees as they pass them, or are napping at the moment, most of them seem pretty content in her eyes. With none of them being all too thin for their race, or actually too thick in body shape. It's the mark of a good handler she feels, and is glad he takes to buying and selling them. Perhaps someday she would sell some of hers here too, they certainly would be treated very well.
Once they arrive at the desk she loosened the strap on the bag, slowly starting to count clearly in order to make sure she remembers what comes after certain numbers should she loose count of it. Making a pile for every hundred coins, and then a smaller one of thirty coins once she reached the five hundred. The bag showed itself to be almost exactly half full if not for the missing thirty that would have made it be five hundred coins still in it.
"This should be it, if you want I can count the ones still in the other bag? Or you could do that yourself if you want?" She certainly wouldn't blame him for wanting to make extra sure he got the exact amount he got from them all, it's still business despite it being creatures that are sold and not items as merchandise.
She picks up the coin back from the counter, dropping that in her trench-coat pocket when she tied the straps on it shut, that should hopefully make sure no coins get loose from it. Eying the pile of coins she felt satisfied that the way the piles where made, they wouldn't roll of the desk and land somewhere they shouldn't.
The pockets in her trench-coat felt a little empty with one bag being gone from it, perhaps she should head out before or after she is done with Travel with Waffles for a shop that sells coin bags? It never hurts to get more, and they can be quite handy to have.
As she is counting the pieces on the other side, the shopkeeper opens the other pouch and begins counting fairly quickly, his eyes scanning quite fast. He had been doing this quite a long time, and it would save them some time for him to do it. He glances over and notes that she is putting the coins in different piles of a hundred, so that it would be much easier to count. That made it easy for him to check over her work; when he was done she was finishing up. Good, the amount was all there it seemed! He pulls the baggie open again and places these coins with their siblings on the desk before reaching his arm out toward her with the pouch. "I've got these counted over here too, here's your bag." He says. He's happy that the transaction has went so smoothly. "I'll start rounding the beasts up for safe travel; They'll be waiting on your transport to be here to collect them." He nodded to her.

'Ahh, he had been counting his already?' She hadn't noticed it probably, too busy with counting her own. "Thank you, I much appreciate having this one back." As that would mean she didn't need to go search for another one. Putting that one back in its previous place sans coins felt good in a way, it meant she got exactly what she had set out to get.
Nodding along at his words she said. "That's fine with me, I'm not sure how long it will take Travel with Waffles to get here once I make arrangements, but it shouldn't be more than a couple of hours for them to get here." Grinning at him, and turning her head then in the direction of the closest creature's she has bought and are the most visible, the Tainted's. "So take as much time as you need, I think the Tainted's will be the most difficult out of the lot to transport, but I have faith all will go well." With that said, she steps away from his desk, nodding one last time in respect to him. "It was great doing business with you, and I'll be certain to come back someday again. Either to buy more exotic creatures, or sell some of my own to your care."
Pausing for a moment, she starts smiling softly, hopefully he didn't mind her talking a lot when it isn't even needed now that everything is concluded. "From what I can tell of the creatures here, you're a great handler to them, doing a superb job for certain. That said, I'll see you in a few hours again." Flashing a small smirk she wonders as well if he might blush from her compliments, not that she would be able to tell under all that fur. But it is the thoughts that count, as he really does take good care of them considering how many dwell in this shop.
She then turns towards the door after a moment, and leaves the shop.
Knowing it will only be a few hours till she is back once more to pick up her newest companions.
Mavrik hadn't had a deal go off this well in a long time; mostly because folks usually came in to look around, sell creatures, and maybe buy one or two. This individual had picked up a good percentage of his non-shop-specific stock, and that was always a good thing. He was already figuring up the cost saving he was about to do in food for the next few weeks in comparison. Yes, very good. It was most likely a good thing that there would be a moment between the time that the delivery company will be here and now since he would be taking a moment or two to get the equillion into their quite large cages. He smiled, politely. "I always enjoy seeing repeat customers, do come back." He meant it too, since she seemed to have more propensity for buying things instead of selling them to him after all. He waves to her as she leaves, and then gets to work rounding up the beasties; they would certainly be waiting for the delivery company in their cages whenever they returned. It wouldn't even take him very long; Mavrik was quite the beast worker in his own time and way; despite not going about the traditional methodology around here.
