Right Species: Human Gender: Androgynous Age: 21 Native Language: Common (Labs-Born Dialect) Height: 5' 5'' (very small build) Weight: 120 pounds Level: 328 Dominant Side: Left (Ironically) Grimoire: We're All Mad Here | Psychological Description A bizarre juxtaposition of traits, this individual is almost entirely inscrutable to anyone due to their inflammatory personality. Well enough known about to most Labs denizens because Morgan was born and raised here, most of the denizens that knew them growing up know to give them a wide berth due to their rather arrogant persona, abrasive tendencies, and blunt words that are not often kind. Prone to becoming quite emotional; it is best to give them a wide berth. Morgan is often the villain in their own story, so to speak, and though they are typically sure that they know what they are doing, they are very seldom in the true 'right' of things. Often superficially flirty, despite being asexual- it seems to be their coping mechanism for not knowing how to converse all that well. Since opening WELP Corp, Morgan has developed a sort of 'shy, reclusive researcher' persona for the public- though they still don't like being the face of the company. They prefer to let their research team deal with the public more often. Morgan has shown to both meticulously plan things before doing them to the point of perfectionism, and then sometimes make rash decisions based on their emotions... Oftentimes to poor effect. This individual does have a handful of good qualities despite the flaws. Morgan is genuinely soft-hearted and kind to animals, though they rarely treat other people with the same respect. Morgan is loyal to their ideals and to the people they respect; though respect is incredibly hard to earn. It is much easier to become this individual's rival than their friend. Morgan does tend to be an incredibly good judge of character, for better or for worse, and has no qualms about using this to their advantage. Morgan generally will not cause harm just to do it though, and generally weighs the amount of harm against the amount of gain- for them or for others they care about (not a whole lot of others, honestly). Despite this- Morgan is surprisingly willing to harm others if there is enough perceived gain with enough of a percentage of success. They will, however, feel terrible about that despite being completely willing in the moment. Morgan is not immune to human emotion, and is not necessarily a good person. Morgan seems physically incapable of forgetting things; especially bad things. Whenever they recall a memory; it can be seen, felt, heard, tasted, and smelled- as if they are standing right there. This is especially bad for dreams; because their dreams are also very, very realistic and occur commonly. On top of this, Morgan is prone to melancholy and thinking about their past, as well as focusing on the 'what could have been'. They seem incapable of letting things go, and hold grudges even if they don't know who or what it is against. Conversations with Morgan are usually quite short (and even Charming in the insults; strange), but they are prone to rant if allowed and the situation calls for it. This ranges from mildly annoying to absolutely rage-inducing, depending on the circumstance and unfortunate bystander involved. Especially since Morgan can be arrogant and is constantly trying to 'teach' others information that ranges from completely random to sharply pointed. Despite having a strong sense of 'Justice', Morgan's sense of right and wrong is not always in line with the general populace. Morgan has difficulty straddling the line between professionally polite and not wanting to bestow pointless care to social situations. Morgan is incredibly knowledgeable and confident in their abilities; but is also very self-centered and short-sighted. Despite being quite intelligent, Morgan often finds themselves lacking in many ways, and tends to withdraw to ruminate over these at the end of the day, when out of the line of sight of others. Perhaps this is what drives Morgan to constantly try way too hard in their everyday goals and typically overthink things extremely badly. Morgan is constantly engaging in risky behavior; training dangerous pets, drinking and smoking when they get the chance, climbing up onto tall things and snooping into things that they don't belong in. Morgan tends to overestimate their abilities, and due to it is quite vulnerable. Morgan developed a mental illness as a young teenager (due to swallowing a chaos node at the young age of 13) that causes them to have long cycles of depression and long cycles of prolonged excitement or agitation that doesn't necessarily make any sense to them. This is, due to the situation of the Labs-City, both un-diagnosed and deeply felt in their life; though Morgan doesn't know what to do about it. If it was more common for medical professionals to exist in the Labs-City Morgan might actually have been able to find help and find healthier ways to deal with this problem. Some days; Morgan is hyper-focused and agitated. Some days, they struggle just to get out of bed and do anything. These cycles last between two and four weeks typically, and are obviously not healthy and debilitating. Morgan is also prone to panic attacks in times of prolonged emotional stress; and prone to quick reactions in acute physical stress. Morgan's goals have changed as they have completed some of them- for now, their main goal is to run WELP Corp. with excellence. Also, Morgan feels lonely, but also feels threatened by the idea of dealing with other people, or perhaps just doesn't know how to really connect with others. As such, Morgan tends to be avoidant and a bit pre-occupied with their other goals. Morgan really just wants some kind of normalcy in their life; but can't seem to make that a reality since swallowing the chaos node. Pretty Much the Definition of Chaotic Neutral; minus the anarchist swing. An obvious example as to how sometimes a precocious young child never really grows up emotionally if nurtured poorly. Their father disappeared when they were twelve- leaving them with a massive fortune and a chip on their shoulder.
