The human was not, under any circumstances, ever planning on going to the pit, but they didn't mind doing these sorts of training for the training guild, anyway. Morgan continued to work with the giant fluffy chicken of a wiurn, knowing that with enough repetition, eventually Michiryuu would get it. At least until they started something new, anyway. Morgan really wasn't in any sort of hurry to get this done, but it did need to be done. Hopefully they would manage to get all of this training done today, but there were only so many fallen logs around... Morgan had not been anticipating the creature taking as long as it just did to teach one of the more basic things for such a large creature. Ah, well, this happened sometimes they were sure.
After lots of continued repetition with the creature rending the log when the signal was given, and when the signals were not given the creature was ignoring the log properly, Morgan was finally convinced that they could move on to something else now.

The last one Morgan decided was going to be a bite attack of some kind. They had been considering the really powerful one that most really big creatures could perform, but then Morgan remembered what had happened when they had been trying to start the psycho-social bond rolling with the wiurn at the very start; the creature had a naturally fiery mouth, so it would be great. The creature could certainly perform that, in fact, it might even be the creature's natural sort of bite, so maybe it would just come naturally. Hopefully the creature would understand how to differentiate between the calls quite speedily, because they certainly did not have a lot more time to work today. Morgan had to think about what the correct way of getting the creature to bite instead of claw this time; clawing seemed a bit more natural, perhaps? Morgan glanced around, and saw a long but thin stick. Aha, that would work!

Morgan was not sure what the future would hold with the Training Guild; but they did know that it would be a while before they got to anything to work with many of their other creatures with, they were sure. Morgan could work ahead, of course, but they didn't really feel like it would be a good idea to run theirself out when they could just wait until it was required to begin working, like now. There were other creatures that needed some training time too, anyway. In specificity, a few creatures in particular could come easily to mind.
The stick that was in one hand would be excellent for this particular training. Morgan chose another whistle idea for the creature's flame bite command; two whistle tones this time, in descending scale. That would be good enough for this one, they figured. Now to just get the creature to bite the stick on command.

Morgan put the stick up to the creature's mouth carefully, and then uses the whistle to call out the two-toned command. The wiurn was used to the idea that different noises meant different things, so he was hesitant. However, Morgan quickly pushed the stick into it's mouth, agitating it. The creature took a quick snap at it, and just as previously expected; the wiurn's mouth was quite flamey inside. Aha; that meant that his bites at the very least were flaming! How terrifying; if it were ever going to be used for fights, anyway. This could easily cause issues for creatures that didn't take to heat well. Morgan immediately removed the offending stick, and then gave the creature a quick piece of jerky as a treat. The wiurn was beginning to understand that different noises meant different things; probably much like a wiurn would feel when communicating with another wiurn, only it was having to learn it anew.

The process was perhaps just a tad easier than the rend had been, if only because the process of teaching the creature just based off of the added difficulty of teaching the fact that there was a process with the command noises. Such things did cause a few issues altogether, but now the wiurn began to be getting it. Morgan was quick to continue the repetition that was required for the training; putting the stick near the creature's mouth and calling the command yet again on the whistle. The wiurn gently attempted the bite, snapping the stick in half even with his more gentle attempt. Morgan was not surprised; but since he did what he was supposed to, he was treated with a piece of jerky. Morgan picked up another nearby stick, and then called the command yet again on the whistle. The wiurn was far more excitable this time; and snapped into the stick with fiery teeth.

So far, so good it seemed. They would only need to continue practicing for the giant fluffy floating chicken wiurn to really get used to the entire flaming bite move. Morgan hoped that it would be enough for the training guild; technically all that was asked for this go around was the nip and scratch moves, but it was allowed to train higher up ones if one had a creature that could technically learn such a thing. The wiurn was working slowly through it as they continued to repeat the entire training situation again and again over the next thirty minutes. A stick would be picked up, the command would be called using the whistle and as it was called, the wiurn would bite the stick wit his naturally firey jaws. Whenever a wrong command was called, the wiurn did not bite the stick; having learned that jerky would not be given for the wrong commands. After a while, Morgan was convinced the creature would do as it was told each time, so they were sure that it would be fine.
