It had been quite some time since she had been in this store, and she wasn't really sure what she was looking for, she figured with a little frown on her face. She already had a fishing pole, but everything else seemed to be gone somehow. Oh well, she could stock up and see what she could do in the river sometime soon, she figured. Smiling a little, she pushed the door open and then looked around. "Hello? I need a few things, but I'm not entirely sure what I need, is it okay if I look around for a little while?" Jack asked pleasantly, smiling a little as she got to the counter. A quick look told her she needed almost everything that was there except for a fishing pole, even a net would be nice at this point, she figured. Maybe she could figure this out a little while later, but for now she was just going to bank on the thought that she was going to need absolutely everything at the moment. Anything would be nice, and while she had a pretty good feeling for the water, she just didn't know what this store really offered anymore.
Ka'shisk was standing with her crocodilian mouth that was indeed quite frightening to most, slightly open as she was working off to one side of the counter. She turned around slowly, blinking her eyes in a slow manner whenever the customer came in. She was boisterous in her booming hello! "E'llo!" She listened of course, and then walked to the other side of the counter, waving for the customer to follow her. "'at do ya wan ta do?" She was sure that of course the customer wanted to fish, but she also knew that some people wanted to fish for different things. Plus, it was the rainy season!
Jack gave a laugh and rubbed the back of her head sheepishly, "I uh... want to do everything, honestly. I have a pole and I finally found some hooks and stuff at the house, but it wouldn't hurt to stock up on things I think. Maybe a net? I've seen them before, to help with catching or to catch what can't be hooked on a pole I guess, if there's anything like that, and then a bunch of lure and hooks, just in case. Might not be a bad idea to stock up on boots and extra line as well." She glanced around as she said that before focusing back on the Ka'shisk with a smile on her face. She wanted to catch everything and update her aquarium at some point, she just wasn't sure when that would happen, if ever. The store still offered the service, but she wasn't sure it was feasible for her to use it right now, she needed some more stuff anyway.
Kashisk blinked as she spoke, choosing to ignore the sheepish action of the customer for now. No need to scare off a customer today. "Yessss, I ssssugessst the 'ong handle fisssshing net." She boomed out, and then walked over to them, holding one out to her in a somewhat more bossy manner than most shopkeepers would probably do. Then she motioned for the customer to follow her, perhaps walking a bit faster than would be expected simply based on her generally slow blinking. As she walked past, she was picked up the extra line- five things of it actually. That was what she suggested. "Lotsss o' exsstra line." Then, she made her way over to the lures and such that were all stacked neatly in boxes of like kind that were open to display. "'ave your pickssss. All good." She had the boots in her line of sight next. She knew that it had a color difference though, and thought Kashisk could not see it; the customers seemed to think it was important far more often than not.
Giving a smile, Jack followed her and took the long handled fishing net she held out with a nod, then followed to the line and took all five of those as well. Not a bad start, and at least she knew how to fish, she just wanted to stock up on her items at the moment. It had just been so long she didn't know what to expect from the river, she didn't know what the shopkeeper would suggest she use if she wanted them all. Jack looked over the lures and hooks, tapping her chin a little with a forefinger, then started to pick out lures and hooks, five of each just like the line. If she wanted to do it, she had better just do it, right? Chuckling, she went up to the counter and put some of her items down already to free up her hands, then came back to the shopkeeper and picked out the hooks she'd had her eyes on. "Is there anything else you recommend? It's been ages since I've fished."
Kashisk stood there for a moment while the customer picked out her lures and such, her mouth slightly open, and then after the customer came back, she nodded. "Yessss. 'ick out yer bootssss." She gestured towards them, and right on the other side of them were the more expensive baits, set up in little boxes and such. "'fter bootsss, I sssugessst at least one ssset o all o thesssse." She waves her clawed hand over the merchandise; bullets in little containers, fish, worms, and pellets. "'Ood for all fishing. I ssssuggessst more for th' rainy ssseassson. Will losssse lotss to th' currentsss." No joke! "After thatsss, you ssshould be ready... You sssaaid you 'ave a pole?"
"You know, since it's the rainy season, I'll just err on the side of caution and get five pairs, might as well make everything even I guess!" Jack said with a firm nod as she picked up all the green boots and put them over on the counter as well. Then she came back and looked over all the bait. Hmm, might as well, right? Shrugging a little, she picked up five of each of the bait and then nodded again. She'd gotten five of pretty much everything, and she figured it was time to see what the damage was. "Yes, I already bought the best pole you have some time ago. It's just been awhile since I've fished but I've kept it clean and sturdy in the time in between," the woman said with a little smile. She tried to keep her equipment in top shape, after all. "So for five of everything but the net, what would the cost come to?" she asked.
The ssashirk nods, pleased. The more sales the better, and it was good that the customer was thinking about what it was going to be like. "Good, yessss, good." She said, and then made her way to the counter quickly, bagging things quite efficiently for the sale. "Total iss 495 creditsss." She said as she worked, once again quite quickly for someone that spoke the way she did, in that slow skipping drawl. When she was done, she smiled, a bright and wide smile with many scary sharp teeth. "'Ood luck fisssshing."
Jack smiled, happy for the bit of praise she seemed to be getting. She was in no way, shape, or form new to fishing, but some of these were a little different than what she was used to at least. Heading back to the counter, she watched as Ka'shisk bagged up her items and then told her the total. Oh that wasn't bad at all. Jack pulled the credits out of her pouch and slid them over to the shopkeeper on the counter, "There you are, 495 credits then!" She beamed at the shopkeeper and then picked up her bags. "Thank you, I'll have to show you some of my catches sometime if time allows, then! I'm sure it'll be nice to get to doing this again, definitely," the woman said with a smile and a nod before she headed out of the store again. The bags went onto the cart pulled by Kro, and off they went again to yet another store.
Kashisk took the credits and nodded to the customer slowly. "Yesss.... 'ome back and sssshow me your catchesss..." Kashisk loved fishing with her draconic, it was very relaxing. She hoped that the customer would also enjoy it, after getting back into it.
Renathan: I feel ya on that one TC; I thought I had most of mine done but alas. It's a good motivator!

Twilight-Claw: (And this just might give me the kick in the butt I need with updating the images in my kennel and everywhere else to neocities, before starting the registration. X3)

Xentus: I suppose I'll share my trick here too for those working on registry/inventory stuff. You can drag and drop images from one thread to a different post if you have the two windowed, side-by-side. The receiving end needs to be previewed

Silver: I just want people to register stuff in whatever way is easy for them (while still being enough that it's easy for staff to read if we need to). So I hope people aren't too stressed.

Silver: For anyone looking at my inventory - don't worry you don't have to do it like mine, the list is very clear about what you need to register - I've just gone extra with mine!
